Mennonites: We're Just That Awesome.
We like peace, God, potlucks, and if you say "606" or "118" to a group of us, we'll burst into four-part harmony. Sound familiar? If you're Mennonite (or a wannabe Mennonnite), this blogring is for you!

Blonde does not equal dumb. (Ditsy, in my case, but certainly not dumb.) Hippie does not equal pot smoker. (Some of us actually care about peace, the environment, social justice, etc.) Mennonite does not equal Amish. (However, we do believe in a non-official rumpspringa, which leads me to...) Irish DOES equal social drinker. -

Peaceable Fruit of Righteousness...Hebrews 12:11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then PEACEABLE, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. Life takes you where your heart is pointed. Faith sees what the common man cannot see, and therefore takes the steps to go where those without faith cannot go. Faith, Hope, and Love are all that we have left when nothing else is dependable. Much of the fruit I see now in my life is the result of not having exercised my eyes of faith in my early years, but I am not looking now at what can be seen. I have my heart pointed to what cannot be seen with the naked eye, toward planting seeds of faith for a better harvest to come. -
