There are so many things we cannot detect in this world, and there may be other worlds as well. Arrogance locked us in ignorance. Science cannot be used to prove or disprove God, it can only be used to explore how things work not what makes they work this way. Science may answer the "Why" question to a graet extent, but it cannot find the ultimate answer. It doesn't mean that science is useless, in fact, I am a science student myself and I support the use of scientific facts and method in speeches and conversations. Science and technology also improved several aspects of our lives, but if science is being "used" in the wrong way, it will not be of benefit to us. Pursuit of knowledge is delightful in God's eyes, but the knowledge we gained cannot be turned against God. Since the theories we learnt do not directly prove anything against God, it is our interpretation that makes it seem to be against God.
