Re: your comment on Seans blog.

I dont mind hugging, but constant touching does bother me. We didnt hug or just hang out next to each other growing up. Im just not used to it.

25 years, eh? Treat that "silver bride" as the beauty she is...from the inside out! Your favorite macrobiotic restaurant? A place on the beach? A kiss to build a dream on? (remember Richard Chamberlain...Dr. Kildare?)

I agree with you completely about the past & those events which are unpleasant.  Everybody has tragedies in life and difficult & unhappy circumstances.

While I think they can be put behind to some degree, some leave marks.  Deep marks.  Malachi has those deep marks.  He was an officer in the Nigerian army and though he has not stated so outright, the implication via converstations over the years is that he has killed men, women & children...  and that was his reason for leaving Nigeria in the first place... to get away from the violence & killing.

His background, his culture and what not give him a far different prospective on things.

I thank you for your encouragement, and for your subscription to my new xanga site.  I suppose it has been pushing onwards towards two years since I last subscribed.  Sometimes we do come full circle!  I was pleased to see your site remains in tact.  There's comfort in continuity.....(now I just need to re-educate myself on xanga protocol.  LOL)  New computer an all of that.... (Life is a learning process, eh?)  Cheers!

Hey James---

Well how the hell are ya?  I moved out of the house in early December.  Danny and I are getting divorced and I'm ecstatic, terrified, expanded, sad, euphoric....

At any rate, it was a long time coming.  The whole time your words kept ringing in my years--"do everything you can.  Give this your all" (or something like that)--and I did.  So now I have no regrets (and no drama).  I don't know if I'll be hanging around xanga, but at any rate, I thought I'd let you know.  Mo is good.  Jocelyn.
