Well about your interpretation - yes you can see it the way you did - that stones can't be human because they are not hard enough to bear our hard, human lives. But there is also a second possibility: Stones can't be human because they are not as hard as we humans are (in the sense of cold, cruel etc). Either way yes you're right that is (thank goodness) not always true.. but I think its just such a wonderfully sad poem..

Hello, nice to meet you (online). I dont know if you came by my site as of late, but to answer that question on yours, my roommate is a nice girl... she's just obssessed with over studying and stressing... she just isnt the tv kinda girl. I cant watch tv because I feel bad watching it when I know that she hates it and when she so constantly studying.... sigh... its okay... I go to our lounge and when people arent there, I watch some tv (its funnie because I watch tv for homework)...hahaha... anyways, thanx for commenting, its nice to know that people actually read my stuff....
