first, forget rudeness [I'm not the one, who can be easily offended]... ;)

second, I've always thought that language has its own set of rules... really, I could never imagine experiencing "pure space" without being able to speak it out loud. for me, it's like all things can be pronounced, can be called by their names. if not, we always try to find an expression which would fully describe what we feel. this is how languages develop, evolve, adjust to our reality...

please note, that I love picturing this "pure space" with words. they are meaningful. this is the best way for others to understand the way each of us sees the world. and I love everything that appears in this "pure space", all those phenomena, all emotions, everything that on the impersonal level is simply a combination of atoms, but in the relative world manifests itself under most astonishing masks.... it's so inspiring!

yet I understand that, although I feel and see these great manifestations, they are artificial, because at the end of the day, everything dissolves into this "pure space". and this is the reason why I do not have to seek personal satisfaction at any cost. I can well forget my fullfilment and commit to making others happy, because there is no "YOU" nor "I". if you can make one person feel blissful, the whole world would in a way become richer...

does it make any sense? ;)

hope to see you around.

Thank you for your comment. That's a good question, you've asked, but you see, I do not find that poem pessimistic at all.

In my opinion, it was not the meaning of words, which was negated here. What was implied, however, was the idea that the states of mind, described by words, are empty in themselves, that they are non-existent in their nature.

"I" is purely relative and can only be true in comparison with "YOU", it's a name for a certain feeling of division. Yet, on a more impersonal level there are atoms, which build up into everything perceivable; there is no "I" anymore.

Obviously, this is just my point of view and I do not have to be right.

The theory in itself is much more complicated and I shall not go into the details here. Should you like me to write more [and maybe in a less confusing manner] please do not hesitate to contact me through my blog.
