hi.  a long time ago i had a xanga entry where i urged people to introduce themselves to me.  yes, i know, that was decades ago, but i just wanted to say thanks a lot for writing. =) 

looks like you've been doing a lot of writing since then.  not sure if you remember what you wrote, but you were talking about how you never really knew what to write about.  and you were a bit nervous about the readers and such.  but your ultimate conclusion was the right one.  you should just write whatever you want.  i mean, i write for therapeutic purposes . . . not to please an audience.  know what i mean?  =)  just do what you gotta do.  and hopefully you'll love doin' it.

anyhow.  have a great time in taiwan!  i love that place!
