| | I think I'm turning more and more into a nerd. lol I'm not really that disappointed by it though. It feels good to be able to "prove" my intelligence in the workplace. Whether it's writing successful wmi scripts or configuring a pix firewall, I have found so much more satisfaction in the validation of my intelligence through my job than I ever have felt through any pursuits in school. I guess in my job it is either right or it is wrong. It is much like math, except I get to see a visual interface over all that math that is going on in the background. We still have some ambiguity in computers, but hey, what's life without "unsolvable" problems? Boring... that's what it is.
I look at some of the guys who have scripted for years and years, and they are bored with it. I find myself enthralled by what all can be done with a single notepad and some ingenuity. Oh crap... I have to leave in five minutes for my Korean basketball league. Bet ya didn't know I'm now Korean did ya... lol
