its time for an update. IB exams are coming to a close, well, they are pretty much over. spanish is next week but honestly that will be a breeze. exams weren't bad at all, with the exception of math but even so i feel good about paper 3 and will hopefully scrape by with a 3. school is over, i consider myself done and to be honest im not sad at all. sure im not going to see a good majority of those people ever again but thats life. i mean, its inevitable that we're all going to change and even though ill leave for college being friend with people ill prolly come back and have nothing in common with them anymore. but hey, its called growing up and its not a bad thing. i have my list of people that i am 100% sure that i will stay in touch and thats all that matters. with those people i know that we're not going talk that much but i have a feeling that everything will go back to being normal, well as much as it can, when we all come back. talk about spreading out my closest friends are gonna be all over the country, in literally every corner of the U.S., california, washington, new york, washington DC, and then there is me, waaaay down in the bottom corner in florida. speaking of that, for a moment there was a slight change of plans but its not changing after all. see, i somehow got off the waiting list to columbia, i have no idea how because all i sent them was a letter saying how much i really wanted to go there and apparently they only take about 10 people off it per years, if that. they pretty much said you have to give us an answer in 2 days and we cant guarantee any financial aid. i had a long, long chat with the parents. it basically boiled down to, full sticker price to an ivy league or no tuition to a pretty good school where ill hopefully still get a good education. well, money won and im sticking with miami. besides i really like my roommate and that just would have been awkward telling him the news haha. yeah columbia was my dream school but its just not for me. i wouldn't survive there for a week. im really to get away from akron and i think that miami will be a good distance. so pretty much life is good right now, i an amazing weekend in the makings and then summer is going to be hopefully the best one yet, i can feel it in my bones.

so in case you were wondering, here is how my college search turned out

u.cincinnati-accepted $2000 a year

u. miami- accepted $32,000 a year

u.michigan- accepted still haven't heard back yet about money

carnegie mellon- accepted $30,000 a year

u. virginia- accepted still haven't heard about $$$

u.penn- waitlisted

columbia- waitlisted

so right now i still have no idea where i am going, i am leaning towards miami and virginia, depending on if i get money from virginia. but then my parents were like if you get a spot for upenn and or columbia we will see what we can do. so basically i wont know for sure where i am going until halfway through summer which will kind of suck but who knows.

senior year is coming to an end fast, can't wait. once may strikes im done and out of there. summer cant come fast enough
