| Life in GeneralWow...I dont no where to start...
A lot has changed since the last post here. Ive grown up and graduated high school, worked professional theater on Broadway, almost finished a semester of college, been through some fucked up relationships, and changed almost completely.
I was reading shey's xanga and she was talking about confronting people. She talked about how much shes changed and i realized ive changed alot as well. Like her confronting people, i will straight up tell people i am gay now. Its a cool feeling lol. But what really hit me when i read her xanga was her description of KCHS theater.
I never thought i would miss it. Im pretty good at change but i do miss the crew. Theater at KC is so good. College theater is fun but a private university has less money to spend on the arts so we dont do nearly as much. the people were the best part. I dont know...four years of people coming and going in that department and i realize there are people i miss from every class. People like Ben and Courtney: best friends that i havent seen/talked to on a regular basis for over a year. I saw Ben for the first time in over a year and a half two weeks ago. I spent literally my entire freshmen year hanging out with Ben. Its so wierd how people leave your life and sometimes come back and other times never return. Its ridiculous to think of the times/memories you have with individuals and yet you never see them again. Or how insane it is that in less than a month of graduating our class had already lost one of the most well known individuals in it.
Its crazy that after 6 years of knowing each other Austin and I are like best friends again. That after 4 years of times including dating, breaking up, and fighting that we are cool. They say distance does the heart some good and i agree. I left home for the better part of June-October and ive resolved so much. I am going to tell my parents the next time we meet in person. They have to know.
Its amazing to me that my best friends are still my best friends even though weve seen each other twice in three months. Sarah Q, Shey, Blaire, Austin, Brandon, Meg Burke,Q, Caroline, Jeff, Fowler, and Barnhart are all still there. I hate that we all took the time we had for granted and fought or ignored each other at times. That we would just sit around in our homes not hanging out when there is plenty of time now to not see each other.
You know who else i miss ? Mr. Cooper and G. Its crazy how use to Coop tyranny i got. I can't function right elsewhere. Im so use to perfection/organization that the real world is crazy. As much of an ass as he could come of as during tech rehearsals, he made us do amazing things. I would work with him anytime. When i worked with GJG and Broadway Dance Center and now TLU, I was thrown off by how unprofessional professional/college companies can be. G, through his sometimes dismal temperament, taught me a lot in and out of the theater and gave me the confidence i have today. Between these two guys, i learned everything i know. I know more about tech theater than anyone at TLU and cus of these guys.
As much as i miss everyone, life is good. TLU is a pretty badass place to be. Ive got good friends, good times, and good grades. I love the freedom. I hate the laundry machines. And I have fun whenever.

im in Stepehnville, TX and i got a meetin tomorrow at 3 with the head of the theater dept at Tarleton State University....i am so fucking excited....
