| Having uleashed the beast today, (1983 Subaru GL a.k.a. "the TrashWagon.") I'll share evidence of it's splendor and power with others. This is the car that I have been building since June. It has nearly 195,000 miles, has recieved donated parts from at least six other cars as well as gone through some extensive modification to get as far as it has. It's far from finished, but it's off roadable and today was beautiful. Took it about fifteen miles out and only took it out of low range 4WD twice. Knocked a few small trees down, chucked a log about 3 feet with a front tire and got really wet a few times. True off roading- staying on the trail was optional. Sometimes it was just easier to drive it through the woods.
My little movie star... http://www.economysuperstar.com/catchthisfox/trailer.htm (I like this car more than my 3000GT)
| Spur of the moment decision and one trip to New York City and Cameron was a driver! Today I went to hazeton to get the new parts for it. We then spent the afternoon installing the new parts and painting it. We're pretty happy with the results. Process as follows.

I still don't know what this summer has been for me. Things have changed a lot. I myself have changed a lot and I can't say I'm happy with it. It's the feeling that my "once upon a time" is now irrelevant. The worry that I might be beaten. The legitmate questionings of what I never wanted to be unsure about. I wont go into detail. Spend enough time with me and it will probably be apparant.
On the happier note, the trip to Canada was different this year. I have been in a different frame of mind this year. Whatever it is that I normally found as a comfort up there was bypassed for a dismal and sometimes more reckless sort of comfort. I don't know if it will be the same for others, but I feel whatver I felt under the water when I watch this video and listen to the song. So if I actually succeded in matching music and video well enough to level with others, then maybe you'll get a clue into what the trip felt for me.
More to come. Life has been moving fast.
