I'm in a good place right now - I'm excited about college. I've got what I wanted out of Carlisle. Everything I hate about it I'm leaving in the past - and everything I love in this town is just something that will come again someday soon.

I leave Friday morning, if things go according to schedule, for AU.
I can't even wrap my head around what it means for me to leave home.
I'm still just beginning to pack - and being without my family, while not devastating, will be an adjustment. Gov school several times over, I guess.
I am going to miss a few people here very much. I feel like a part of my soul isn't going to AU with me.
And there's still a few things I gotta take care of before I go - wish me luck.

I laugh - because it looks so cheesy and Windows-ish... I can almost see the freezing, restarting and blue-screen nightmares their new MP3 player is going to give you.

I got soul but I'm not a soldier...

And I have an iPod.

I spent the whole day putting songs on it - when I get the Mac I'll kick it all off and reformat it from Windows, but I don't care - I have an iPod! And I just got five Killers songs and Gnarls Barkley's "Crazy" so it's all good to me.

World War III won't start this week, I have an iPod, I have people that I love and I'm happy.

Not so bad for a lazy day.
