  • What will Heaven look like?

The Bible doesn't give us an abundance of details as to what heaven will be like, but it does give us what we need to know.  After all, how could we possibly fathom all that God has stored up for His saints to enjoy and experience?  If we could understand heaven fully now, it wouldn't be much to look forward to.  But, the God Who is able to do even above and beyond what we can ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20), will create a new heaven and a new earth that will transcend any feeble attempt by our present earthly imaginations to be able to conceive of what heaven will be like.  The best and greatest we can think of or ask for, God will do more.  In fact, He will do much more.  As such, we have much to look forward to, even though we don't know specifically what all is coming.

What Scripture does reveal to us we should take to heart so that we have hope.  The Bible says that heaven is paradise.  Christ, when speaking to the thief on the cross who repents, says that he will be with Him that very day in paradise (Luke 23:43).  Paul speaks of being caught up into the third heaven into the very presence of God, and He describes it as paradise (2 Corinthians 12:1-4).  As good as the Garden of Eve was, heaven will be perfect, a perfect paradise.  We know that there will be no more pain, tears, grief, or sorrow because Christ will wipe away all tears (Revelation 21:4).  All physical ailments, emotional pain, and sorrow will be gone for we will be in the presence of Christ Himself (Revelation 21:3).  Perhaps that is the best part of all, having the eternal opportunity to be in the very presence of our Savior face to face.  Yet there is more.

In heaven, we will sing praises to God (Revelation 4:11).  We won't be bored or just sitting around because God has much for us to do, learn, see, and accomplish.  We will have responsibility as we reign with Him and serve Him (Revelation 22:3, 5).  Our souls will be filled with ecstasy as we get to work with Jesus to bring about His wonderful, glorious, and perfect plan in paradise.  We will see those who have died in Christ, and we will be reunited.  We won't go to church, per se, because we will worship Christ Himself Who is our temple (Revelation 21:22).  There will be transparent streets of gold (Revelation 21:18, 21) and all kinds of precious stones for the foundation of the walls of the city of the New Jerusalem (Revelation 21:19-21).  Jesus will light the world (Revelation 21:23), God will be on His throne (Revelation 22:3), and the tree of life will be there (Revelation 22:2), representing our eternal existence with God.  Animals will get along, people will get along, and Jesus will be our peace (Micah 5:5).

This is possible because there will no longer be any curse, which means that there will no longer be any sin (Revelation 22:3).  Finally, our battle against our flesh will be over and we will be able to live in holiness perfectly.  There will be no fear any longer, for Jesus will be our King.

There just isn't any reason why we shouldn't look forward to heaven.  We can rest assured that worshipping God in heaven in paradise will not be boring.  He will have much for us to do, see, discover, and be responsible for.  Psalm 16:11 says, "In Your presence is fullness of joy; in Your right hand there are pleasures forever."  Heaven is thus joy maxed out because we will be in the presence of Christ and we will be able to experience the eternal pleasures which He has stored up for us.   We will be forever with God, which in and of itself is so wonderful it is beyond our ability to fully comprehend.  Yet there will be still more joy, pleasure, responsibility, and infinitely more.

It just can't get any better than heaven, so let's just enjoy imagining as we wait for something beyond and so much better than what our imaginations can conceive.  One day very soon, we will see our Savior face to face, and our joy will be beyond complete.

  • Update for Bound4life...

Below is a update of the Mercy seat from April 26. It is soooo Awesome how many people there were, sitting with tape over there mouth's,quitley praying and pleading the blood of Jesus over this nation for our sins in hopes God will pass Judgment over America. Please Pray God will end abourtion.

I wanted to send a big "Thanks" out to everyone that joined with Bound4LIFE for The Mercy Seat on April 26th. We been receiving steady reports from each state of how great the day was and what a powerful gathering it proved to be. Based on these reports, we estimate that over 6,000 people participated! I believe this gathering was important to God, and I know that the mercy cry that arose from it ministered to His heart. You are a "mercy reason" for the nation. Please pray that there would be an ongoing increase of people willing to stand in intercession in this way. To connect with a local Bound4LIFE Chapter near you visit bound4life.com/local-chapters.

One of the reasons for the delay in this follow up was so we could get the website set up for you to send us your best MERCY SEAT PHOTOS. We've set up a gallery for all to upload and see. Go to bound4life.com/galleries/themercyseat to see all the sieges that took place. We will be creating promotional materials using these great photos, so don't let your state get left out!

The gathering in DC was amazing. Approximately 500 joined us there over the course of day. It was amazing to stand with that many people in front of the Supreme Court in total silence. Lou Engle was there with us. Eduardo Verástegui, the star of the movie "Bella," surprised us by dropping by to say a few words before we ended. Cindy Jacobs came too. Cindy gave a powerful word in the afternoon that on that day "righteousness and justice were remarried." That really impacted me because of a startling dream was given to us a couple months earlier by a close intercessor friend as we were preparing for 4/26. In the dream, I was seen decorating a car for a honeymoon, and I hung a sign on the back that said, "Getting Married Again." Please pray that an Amos 5:24 expression would be upon the Church--"Let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!"

Again, thank you for all that you do and for joining with Bound4LIFE. We ask that you continue to pray for us as we mobilize throughout this critical year. Please consider helping us financially as we pray for God to drive the abortion issue like a wedge into the 2008 elections. You can donate online safely and securely at bound4life.com/donate.

Special Reminder: The movie "Bella" was just released on DVD this week. Please do all that you can to help make this beautiful pro-life film a huge success. Go to bellamoviesite.com for more information.

  • Need Work?

    Good Morning!

I just was driving yesterday and was not in a not so nice area. There they were, tones of Mexican men standing in hopes someone would drive by and ask if they can work for the day. So many of them just waiting. They weren't there with a sign that reads, " Please give, hungry! God Bless. No they were trying so hard to get work. I just don't understand why the white or black man is not standing out there waiting? No, their the ones on the coner begging for someone to feel sorry for them and give them a free ride. I understand people can get down on there luck but instead of laying down a dying. Go and find work.  What has happened to the strong man that would work till his fingers bled? So many men are making work seem harder than it is. God said by the sweat of your brow you will be blessed. He said the lazy man will starve. God loves a hard working man.....

I don't judge, try not to, but i seen what i seen, no other man out there waiting for work but a mexican man. People say they need to go back to there own country. Who are we to say . My Grandparents came here from Germany and Netherlands in hopes for freedom. My grandfather served in our USA Navy. He worked late nights so we would have a nice life. That is what i seen in their eyes yesterday as they hoped someone anyone would stop and ask "Hey You want to work today???

  • Joel, coming to pass

    From Kim Clement:::

    From Pasadena, CA

    April 13, 2008 - Secrets - Pasadena, CA

The Spirit of God says I long to hear the sound of My people shouting out as Joshua shouted, making proclamation to the nation.  The time of mourning has come to an end.  Let out your nets for the greatest catch, let your nets break and your boats begin to sink.  As I charge an abundance in the sea that once bore nothing.  But now that same sea shall bear great fruit, says the Spirit of God!

But now is the time, for the Spirit of God said your labor and your willingness and your industry shall bring about the greatest catch ever.  For the same sea that bore nothing and the same sea that gave you nothing shall now bring you an abundance says the Spirit of the Living God!

    Frome me:

    Holy Holy....

God is working so many great things these last days. I have seen people go from drug bound to Heaven bound. It so true that in the last days God shall pour out his spirit upon all flesh. People in iran, iraq are seeing the vision Of Jesus telling them, I am the way the truth and the life. Muslims are getting baptized by the holy spirit all over the world. What a awesome God!!!! I just am so excited to see what God is going to keep doing. I believe with my whole heart we will see a great change amoung our teens. Keep your hearts open and like my pastor said sunday, it is time to take down our umbrellas, it is time to let the rain fall down on us. Let him soak you with his Holy Spirit. I have been seeing and hearing preachers all over the world preach about these last days and what each one is saying is about the same message. He is coming and coming quickly. Are our hearts ready? I am ready, i feel his Holy Spirit so strong these days, he wakes me up in the middle of the night sometimes and i just start praying which usally puts me back to sleep, but just start praying for things i would never think about. Sometimes its for the youth, others it is for this war, other nations. We need to start listing to him, he is waking up souls to get him ready for his kingdome. Let him use you and you will start to see blessing like you never have before. Maranatha, Which means even so , come quickly Lord Jesus. COME!!!!

  • Moving

I am just writting cause i just have been nonstop worrying. I am moving away from my home here in Austin. It has been home for me for 15 yrs. My husband's mother is sick and we have to be closer to them. I am moving to Boise Id. I think it is very beautiful there. I know I will be fine, my husband has a wonderful family. I just am so sick to move because i have found the perfect church here in Austin Tx., Promise Land. My pastor has taught me so much through his teaching and preaching. That church is my life line, where i go when i am scared, happy, sad. I walk in and it is just like home. My church family, Oh my Gosh, the most wonderful people ever!!!!

My house , we have done so much work to it and i love my home. My kids. Ok my daugter is almost 20 and has a son, my grandson. My son too. They will not be coming with me. My son is 18 and if he comes i would love it and if my daughter came i would love it. I just hate being so far away from them.  I got on my kness, well in my head i was on my knees. I said," God if this meant to be than open all windows, if it is not meant to be than close them and never open them". I got a pretty fast answer. This is the fastest he has ever answered me. We have not even stuck a for sale sign in our yard and we have a buyer. OK God, I got your sign. So off to Boise we go. Now Things are moving kind of fast but I know God will get us through.  I just am torn apart with leaving and need lotsssssss of prayers. I need prayer for a new church when i get there and for buying our new home to go smoothly.

God bless and have a great day!!!!!
