it has been exactly a month since i have posted.

i like this...

"i am apart of all that i have met; yet all experience is an arch where-through gleams that untaveled worl whose margin fades forever and forever when i move. How dull it is to pause, to make an end, to rust unburnished, not to shine in use! asthough to breathe were life! like piled on like were all too little, and of one to me little remains; but every hours is saved from that eternal silence, something more, a bringer of new things; and wile it were for some thee suns to store and hoard myself, and this grey spirit yearning in desire to follow knowledge like a sinking star, beyond the utmost bond of human thought"

It seems like interesting days with my friend Brian always have good weather...like today.

(disclaimer: the word "midget" was the one he used...I would not use that normally :))

I learned tonight that Brian is "tight" with the midgets. Yes "tight". Now, I am not entirely sure what that implies but I do know that someone in his family was apparently a midget because he claims to have midget blood.

I also learned that I am in trouble with the midget king. He wants to see me. I am in BIG trouble! Whatever that means...

Seperate from the midget thing...

There is a ticket dispenser near the grill line at work that prints extra copies of orders. After a long night of cooking the tickets begin to pile up. Brian decided to (I thought) innocently take the ticket pile and throw it away. With him though nothing is innocent, or normal. He took the tickets, wadded them up and pretend to wipe his butt with them right in front of me for like a minute. That passed the limit of funny to ridiculous and really gross.

I am not sure how many of these stories I am going to be able to write from now on.

Today was amazing for three reasons.

1st. the weather on days like today is the kind of weather that I could handle every single day. I love overcast weather and the feeling that a tornado could hit any minute. so good.

2cnd. I read one of the most amazing publications I have ever read in my life. I must own it...but I must have mula first.

3rd. Brian. remember him? tonight I learned how to speak alien. aliens eat baked beans and they use the term baked beans to refer to all types of food. they also use different body positions and moods as well as a variety of pitches and loud shrieking sounds to communicate. finally, the alien who wants something uses the "bark", which sounds something like a dog, and kicks his leg-a lot.

needless to say, I got barked at tonight.

I find it extremely ironic that my mother sent me a valentine this year about the hunk of my dreams being an ape (humerous...typical). it seems I have found the ape.

I shall deny the ape. and continue to laugh at the ape.

you know something though...he was reading the case for faith tonight. I didn't even know he could read. maybe there is hope after all.

This is a true story....

I have recently begun working at the Searcy Country Club. A very prestigious place where the elite of Searcy, Arkansas can congregate and socialize over a "gourmet" dinner while discussing how much gas milage they each get in the same white (monsterous) pick-up they all drive.

It is not the customers nor the poorly decorated ladies restroom with $2 waltmart garbage cans that I would tell someone about if they asked me about my job. I would tell them about Brian.

Brian is friendly. There is no doubt about that. But I would like to take this opportunity to share a conversation that we shared tonight.

Brian: "I have studied Alien bones you know. Like there bones and there hands."

Me: "Really"

Brian: "You know, a lot of people don't know this, but when they think that Aliens have three fingers they are wrong. I mean, some of them do...but they mostly have six fingers. The ones with three fingers though have this ability to move them side to side so they can grip things."

Me: "Wow that is pretty cool. You are right I have never heard that before."

Brian: "Yeah, and did you know there there are a lot of things different about them. Like, there cytoplasm is very different."

Me: "Cytoplasm? You studied these aliens at the cellular level?"

Brian: "No! Not just at the cellular level...The molecular level! Did you know that the molecules are spinning so fast and always moving and stuff. I am pretty sure that they are moving so fast...like...2 hund...well maybe more like 2 thousand but really like 230 mph in there bodies."

Me: "Brian, where did you meet these aliens?"

Brian: "Oh, I can't really tell you that...but...well ok...I met them in the middle of the golf course...and they told me that I had to bring girls back with me if I told anyone about them so that they could study the girls."

I walked away at a pretty fast pace....

God created special people in this world. Sometimes I think that I am one of them. But apparently I am relatively normal...compared to Brian at least.

does anyone else find that incredibly scary?

It snowed for 30 seconds this morning....that was interesting.

I love my family. My parents aren't abusive, so don't think that as you are reading this...but do understand that we all think this is hillarious. So my mom and dad pretended they paid the bill at a restaurant and left the bill with my brother and his best friend acting like they were the ones that had to pay it...my parents left and the boys took the initiative to tell the manager they needed to wash dishes because they didn't have the money to pay the bill. My parents came back and watched in the parking lot as my my brother and his friend bused tables. hahahaha. wow. I think that is so funny. My brother called me to tell me he thought it was cool that he got to work at a restaurant for an hour and my mom called me to tell me that she and my dad sat in the truck laughing for an hour. funny stuff.

I am so happy right now. Even though I (physically) feel like crap. Things are just going right :)
