Currently Watching
The Island

campus crusade indy christmas conference = amazing times ten.  the highlight was on community outreach day on friday...totally got to talk to some little kids about Jesus.  how cool i must say.  on a much lighter note, much to my surprise, i found my brother greg brady when i dressed up like marsha brady for the dancing through the decades new year's eve party.  random dancing + awesome costumes + focused prayer for the new year + staying up 'til 5:30 am playing in the lobby = pretty flipping sweet new years.

and nowwww...i'm back home...actually at maddie's right now semi-watching the movie the island after semi-watching the fiesta bowl but really focusing on SKIP BO, but not really b/c i just watched it last night.

so...there are a lot of cool stories i wanna tell right now...but quite frankly, i don't feel like typing anymore...so i'm out.

Home for Christmas
By *NSYNC

chopping down a B-E-A-UTIFUL tree, drinking hot chocolate with marshmallows, watching Christmas movies, baking enormous amounts of cookies, cuddling with my doggy, getting in tickle/tackle fights with my stepdad and sister, slipping a million times on the icy iceness outside my house, jamming to *NSYNC holly jolly holiday CD (my FAVE!), hanging out with friends, shopping almost everyday for last minute gifts, scarfing down candy canes, talking to my aunt (one of my most favorite people to talk to), wearing my suh-weet boots, having people sing about me (holly) in carols, knitting/crocheting, playing with kids, belting out random Christmas songs, moving the mouse til Christmas, eating yummy goodies, sleeping in, watching the sparkling lights, eyes watering whenever I go out b/c it's so gosh darn COLD, hugging practically everyone I see....

how I ADORE Christmas.

I've been tagged....

Ground Rules: The First player of this "game" starts with the topic "5 weird habits of yourself", and people who get tagged need to write a Xanga entry about their 5 queer habits as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next 5 people to be tagged and list their names. Dont' forget to leave a comment that says, "You are tagged" in their Xanga and tell them to read yours.

1) Whenever it snows...particularly when it's been on the ground for a while, I insist on walking on the edge of the sidewalk to crunch all the half snow half ice pieces.  It is my favorite sound in the whole wide WORLD!  SO GLORIOUS!

2) I like to bite things.  Especially putty.

3) I put my pants on both legs at a time.

4) When in deep thought or not thinking at all, it has been brought to my attention that I make clicking noises in the back of my throat.

5) I get the hiccups (and LOUD ones) at least four times a day, but I only get four or five hiccups at a time.

I tag:  the first five people who read this...

WHOO-HOO for posts at 1 in the morn!

it's been FOR-EV-ER since i've updated... ok... a month... but still... long time!  so i'm not even going to try to update you all on everything that happened during that time.  all i can say is that it was pretty amazing

HOLLERRRRRR for jeremy camp, the afters, and bethany dillon for which i attended a concert!  it was purdy darn sweet.

HOLLER for no class on tuesday and coming home monday right after class

MAJOR HOLLER for my grandma recovering from her surgery beautifully (which is the main reason i came home early b/c her surgery was on tuesday morn).  she is such an amazing woman and servant of the Lord... man... i wanna be like her.  while our family was so worried and emotionally shaken that my grandma (the rock in our family) was having this procedure, she was so unafraid and assured in her faith that whatever happened would be God's will.  i spent the night with her on her first night back, and learned things about my family i had never known before by going through her cedar chest with her.  she's just so beautiful.

HOLLER for family time and R&R at home.  nothing like chilling on the couch with by animals or wrestling in the very very backseat with my stepdad and sister... we're such trouble-makers.

HOLLER for eaton friends!!!!!  attempted to go the the opening christmas parade, drove though the "preview" fort (saw the beaver light display... the one where the beaver knaws down the tree... it's the best one), went to the movies, followed by kelly and i talking about life and love.  gotta love girl talk.

UN-HOLLER for boys being confusing.  enough said.

HOLLER for lots and LOTS of yummy food.  even though i'm pretty sure i've gained 500 pounds and will soon have a heart attack.

allllllllright... i really think it's time that i drift off to dreamland.  i really REALLY love you ALL!

Thank You God for this much-needed break.  You are so so SOOO good.

Middle of Nowhere

yes...that's right...i'm really listening to hanson right now.  you gotta admit that it's catchy.

sooooo....i'm feeling a little sick.  sore throat, runny nose-o, and coughing.  blah.  i hate colds.

this week was stressful in the beginning, but it has begun to wind down.  the most interesting/fun points of the week included a foursome racquetball game with leslie, brice, and matt.  i hit brice really hard in the head with the ball...and i still feel really bad about it...but he hit me hard in the leg so i guess we're even.  hehe.

yesterday my daddy stopped to see me on his way back home to north carolina.

last night (or rather this morning) i did not go to bed until 3:30!  i stayed up too late half doing homework and half talking to people and half rubbing my leg with a pencil.  that's too many halves...but oh well.  this resulted in me being very sick this morning and skipping my first two classes.  you'll have that

this weekend is homecoming!  which means varsity revue tonight YAYYYYYYYYYYY!  so fun!  i'm excited!

and now...i need to blow my nose
