im writing tonight with a new found peace in Christ that i couldn't have recieved without the unfortunate event of a precious girl here at Olivet.

i have been impacted greatly by a life that was lived that i wasn't fully aware of.  Heather lived a life worthy of a daughter of a King.  i want to be like Heather.

From many stories I heard tonight, she was a crazy, fun, caring, compassionate, & loving friend, RA, and daughter.

There were many aspects about her that reminded me of myself.  Her craziness and humor reminded me of that of yours truely.  I only hope I can be an RA like her.

I have never felt closer to my friends.  I feel for them in their loss.  I love them all very much.

This day was a refreshing reminder of how precious life is and the impact i need to be leaving on this Earth. 

Father, be with those who are grieving and hurting.  Thank you for being a stronghold in a time of sorrow and sadness.  We love you.

you must remember to put God first.

you must remember what is most important in life.

you must remember that you are responsible for your own actions and attitudes not others.

you must remember that NO MATTER WHAT, treat others the way you want to be treated.

you must remember to put others before yourself.

you must remember that it's not about you.

you must be good to yourself - both mentally and physically.

just some stuff to think about and to keep my mind in check.. maybe it will help you too
