| Just because I haven't done anything here in ages...Rawr. My left hand is sort of falling asleep and I'm perfecting a mix CD for a friend (which really means I'm just listening to it over and over again because I don't know what other songs to put on it) and I'm getting a LOT of random thoughts coming to me.
- My default picture is friggin' OLD, but it's annoying replacing them, so why bother? - I remember when I made my school friends get xangas and we all thought we were total beasts. whatever. - I need to buy a dress for my school dance tomorrow, which will probably involve shoe shopping. I don't mind dress shopping, but shoe-shopping drives me nuts. - I WILL go to Projekt Revolution this year. Linkin Park AND Hawthorne Heights? I must. - I have two mosquito bites on my ankle, and their close proximity is sort of making my ankle feel like it's swelling when it's not. - Why am I not watching the Rocket's game right now? - Who's Line Is It Anyway?="lol irl" - props to anyone who knows what "lol irl" means. XD
-Victoria p.s. I have a feeling the same number of people would read this whether or not it's on public or private (for slightly slow people, that'd be just me. :P)

| So I've made a vow to stay off of Myspace and Facebook for a week. It's only been three days and every time I get on the computer, my fingers start to type out "m-y..." when I have to stop myself check my e-mail instead. NOT getting on Myspace and Facebook made me realize that I don't get on that many websites in general...Xanga layouts are a lot more complicated then they use to be -_-"
2008's been pretty good in the past 65 hours of it. I've started school, but I spent as much of my holiday as possible watching America's Next Top Model "Modelthon" on VH1 and playing Mario Kart Double Dash with my sister and cousin. We FINALLY unlocked the Special Cup, but I don't have a Gamecube memory card, so we have to unlock it every time we want to play it, and unfortunately, we're not actually that great at the game, so it's sort of hard. ><; It took us from the end of Winter Retreat until yesterday to finally do it. haha
And on the note of Winter Retreat...I e-mailed Chuck to ask for the Bible plan and someone from his church sent it to me. w00t. It has the whole Bible in a year, the New Testament in a year, and the New Testament in 90 days. Unfortunately, it's in Microsoft Publisher form so I'm not sure if I should print it out, save it, etc. @_@ If anyone wants it, I can e-mail it or print it out I guess.
SURRENDER; MEDITATE; OBEY- Victoria :)

| StressOVERLOAD.
give me a second to bang on my keyboard:

- I'm such a frikkin' procrastinator. - I highly dislike my science teacher. - I'm back in one of my ruts.
It usually happens right before winter retreat too. I feel like there's nothing to hang on to. I get overloaded with work because I start to ignore it until last minute, but I've never had so many projects at once! They're all due back-to-back. It's crazy.
GAH. I'm going to go procrastinate just a little more. I'll take a shower to clear my head, practice my recital piece for piano, watch Transformers then go pick up a Bible. I lent my original one to my best friend and now I feel naked, but it felt like the right thing to do, although I haven't been reminding her to read it =X
Oh another note, I've missed so many episodes of Heroes, that I have almost no idea what's going on :(

| WHEE!I'm in Florida :)
[the home of Yellowcard, to be specific.] lol
EDIT
It's nice being home again. I miss my bed, which I should be sleeping in write right now, except I'm writing excuse notes for my teachers for why I wasn't at school. DX

| 1 Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, "I find no pleasure in them"- 2 before the sun and the light and the moon and the stars grow dark, and the clouds return after the rain; 3 when the keepers of the house tremble, and the strong men stoop, when the grinders cease because they are few, and those looking through the windows grow dim; 4 when the doors to the street are closed and the sound of grinding fades; when men rise up at the sound of birds, but all their songs grow faint; 5 when men are afraid of heights and of dangers in the streets; when the almond tree blossoms and the grasshopper drags himself along and desire no longer is stirred. Then man goes to his eternal home and mourners go about the streets. 6 Remember him—before the silver cord is severed, or the golden bowl is broken; before the pitcher is shattered at the spring, or the wheel broken at the well, 7 and the dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it. - Ecclesiastes 12:1-7 (NIV)
Just some verses I need to keep in perspective...
