The Japan Student Association of the University of Pennsylvania will be hosting the 2005 East Coast Japan America League (ECJAL) conference during Friday, April 1^st to Sunday, April 3^rd.  We would like to extend our invitation to all interested college students to participate in this conference.

ECJAL is the largest intercollegiate Japanese-interest conference for students on the East Coast.  Every year, over a hundred students attend this three-day conference comprised of workshops, lectures, dinners, and many other activities centered on a specific theme.  The theme for this yearfs conference is gJapanfs Sports Culture.h  Registration will begin on Friday afternoon, followed by a social event at night. Saturday will be a full day of lectures and interactive workshops.  On Sunday, conference participants will meet in order to determine next year's ECJAL site.  The registration fee for ECJAL 2005 is $25 before March 27^th and $30 from March 27^th onwards.  This fee will cover for housing on Friday and Saturday night as well as meals on Saturday.
