Cedarville(Screwing the little guy)

So I guess I'll post again because I need to vent some newfound frustration of cedarville and another mounting reason to why I cant wait to get out of here. So I bought a text book friday for 115 buck and find out saturday that I can infact use the old edition which cost me 10. So I dont use the new book at all with intent of returning it today Thursday 6 days sense purchase. So in the real world you wouldnt think this would be a problem right. Well here in cedar land apparently they dont accept any returns after the 26th even if you bought it on the 26th. So no I'm out 115 bucks. I love how we are a Christian school and we show all this "christian" love and yet we cant even have a bookstore that operates like the real world and atleast offer a 7 day return policy. I'm tired of garbage like this. It's like most of the school besides some good prof's are here to screw the student over. I have more examples but I'm to mad to keep tying right now. Well maybe I'll start posting on here again. Its a good stress reliver. Why the world needs superman!

So I saw superman thursday night. Yes it was quite good. While I was sitting there some things ran through my head. 1) that how can any one watch or hear the story of superman and not put it next to that of Jesus Christ. 2) The world really does need a saviour unlike lois lane protests during the course of the movie.

So any way yeah I know superman has a kid out of wedlock and all that but I mean the old school story is still there and its a good redemptive one. Its funny that comics and movies made on them help me to see my relationship with christ better. I mean it really makes you relize how powerfull God is. Yeah super man can fly and melt things with his eye and has super strength, but Gods still got the drop on him. I mean hes everywhere all the time and can do all those things if he wanted to with out even exerting a single ounce of effort really. Its kinda crazy how amazing of a superhero(savriour) I serve. I'm glad I have a superhero that is so amazing but yet still loved me enough to come to earth in human form and die for me so that I could live. So now you have to ask yourself does the world really need a savior. In such dismal days i submit that it does in deed...It does in deed.

Pour my heart and sould into this post.............Nah.

lTheSo any way you may all have noticed my xanga asking you for a password. Well the gist of it is that cedarville h drive sucks the big......Well something big without beign vulgar. Ok so sorry. Once i find some free webspace ill have a background for you all to oooo and ahhhh at. Ok on to other news.
So I dunno tonight is one of those nights to just think. I guess lol. Well I guess ill start withthe quick and the easy. I love my new job. Its tough working 10 hours strait but its worth it. Plus hey i get to drive cars around and wash them for the summer. Thats not to bad. So that was the stuff that requires no thinking. The thinking stuff is about church and stuff. So latley I have felt like I just dont belong were my parents are going. I mean I love the people there but I just dont agree with a few key things. Plus i feel like im just not growing there. Well sometimes I do and sometimes I dont. Its wierd, but anyway I kinda feel like I need to get out and find out what other churches are like in Austin. It was wierd this sunday. I went to a big one but like no one took bibles at all and I had mine open and was like how can people not have bibles in church. I mean im guilty of forgeting mine alot in Chapel and stuff too, but no one in the church or close to it was new to me. So I dont think thats my type of church. Maybe I ask to much but i just want to find a church that can mix awsome praise and worship with awsome hymm singing and a pastor who dosent seem fake or hypocritical. I dunno is that like church utopia or something. LoL. Well i just want to find someplace that i feel like God wants me. I dunno i guess its part of growing up. finding a church body of your own. You cant live on your parents wings forever sometimes you gotta jump off and fly on your own( wow thats the corn righ there). So any way thats my big thinking. If it all seemed boggle...well welcome to my head. The other things on my mind are my gf and how much i miss her. I hate not seeing linds atleast everyother day like when im at school. It sucks. I cant wait for 4 weeks just to fly by so we can have a week in a half of summer fun toghether. The other thing i have been thinking in light of the new underoath album is just how depraved I am as a human and how my life is not what it needs to be for my God. I just want to live life to represent him and everything he is about and not live it for myself. It's so hard as any one that is also on this path can attest to. Well any way I guess i have waxed phylisophicly enough for one night. I Wish I could state it all more eliqently, but its justs my heart emptying out on xanga screen lol. Well have a good night. Im going to listen to some music that makes me happy I suggest you do the same.

Ok So here we Go kids. After going to and amazing concert last night presented by the undying concert I have a question and some opinions for everyone. Plus at the end of the post you get my take on the concert. So my big question is.........What the heck is the point of moshing. Now before anybody goes off the deep end and tears my head off. Im not saying its wrong or condeming it, but I just dont get it and I have some points for my thinking its rediculus. Ok so here we go.

1) It has to be the most rediculus looking dance ever. I mean you look like king kong when it starts, and then you just spaz out and pull like a Chuck Norris round house outa no where. I mean seriously that is not dancing or anything. Ha could you imagin mosh as a style on like so you think you can dance. HEHE that makes me laugh.
2)So what did the air do to you? Lol seriously punching the air common and what about when you punch the guy next to you and it turns into a fight. I just cant understand the logic behind that. Tell me here when did hurting people for fun become acceptible, I mean most states thats considered assult right lol.
3)Well im not sure there is a three. I just think If you really want to have a good time that waving your fist in the air and banging your head as hard as you can is the way to go. Im sorry but I just cant get into the all lets get hurt together thing. Im all for blood brothers but thats just not the way to do it guys lol.

Ok so now you guys get to tell me what you think. I know that wasnt exaustive but I want people to read this and respond so it shouldnt have to be. Even with the moshing the concert was great. Becoming the Architype was amazing onstage and off. They were really nice guys when I went to get my shirt at their merch table, so was spoken, and august burns red. Who by the way are amazing energy wise in concert I wish I new the words to thier songs cuz it would have made it all that much better. Its kind hard to pick up words at a metal concert. You either know them before hand or you dont know them lol. Zao was ok. Im not a fan of thiers but they were pretty brutal. Then came the kup-de-gra(spelling?) Demon Hunter blew me away. They are every bit as good in concert as their cd is. Plus Yogie looks incredible on the drums. So My advice is if you have any intrest in any of these bands check out the undying tour. It was pretty much the Highlight of my summer. Well that is if you cut out the fact I went to China already. Ok bring on the comments guys. I wanna hear what other people have to say about moshing. Ok later all.

So today has been and ever so amazing day so far. I got up and talked to my lindsay on the phone and that was a great way to start the morning as always. Especialy cuz I love her so much and vice versa. Then I decided it was a day to check all my fav music sites. I was looking for a review of the new underoath cd when i found out that hey you get a free t shirt if you buy it at Family christian book store. So I went got my t shirt and cd and then went to the mall with my mom. So that was my good morning. Then tonight Im making the hour in a half trek to the Undying tour tonight. I cant wait demon hunter,zao,august burns red,spoken, and Becoming the Archytype. Wahoo It should be and amazing concert. Well thats all for now. Look for and update tonight when I get back from the concert.

Sorry its been more then a day sence I lasted posted all. I havnt been doing to much. Working on audio and video stuff that is due in august and september. Its hard to do work when its that far off but it must be done. Any way other then that I have just been playing need for speed underground 2. Great game especialy sense I got it for like the price of a rental. Wahoo! Any who. In other news I may have a job at enterprise washing and driving cars around till the end of the summer for 7 an hour. Just waiting for my background check to come though. Which it deinitly should seeing as I havnt robbed,killed,stolen, or anything bad at all in my life really. LOL. Ok well just though I would give you all a quick update.

Not much to write about today. It was and average day for this Texan right here. I woke up went to a couple stores. Got a couple new posters. A cars poster with non other then Lightning McQueen....Chugaaaaa. Oh and not to forget the mean Kong poster. I'm hanging that on my headboard wall cuz I think if I woke up in the middle of the night to that poster in front of me I might be a tade scares lol. So any ways I also did some reorganizing of my room. I'm sorta in the process of converting it into a space somewhat reminiscent of a pixar office with all the toys and movie junk, but on a way smaller scale lol. The biggest project of all this renovation was hanging three black shelves on my wall and putting some muppet memorabilia on them. It looks quite nice. My mom has a good eye for things. Thank you mom for the shelves. Then after that we went to Wendy before church and I got my spicy chicken with cheese.....umm yum yum. Oh and I had to deal with my biggest gripe about Texas(but one I can still live with to be in this beautiful state). I hate that people cant even understand me enough to take my order at a fast food place. I hate that, and that's why we need a legalized language. I mean common if you are going to move to my country and work here and benefit from all we have at least learn the language, and stop gripping about how your friends cant get amnesty while your at it......Oh did I just say that uh oh. Well if you are a legalized Mexican or any other nationality for that matter I applaud you because you worked hard to get that and deserve to live the American dream but if you didn't.......GO BACK HOME! Well I'm sure that will get someone thing oh he is such a uncaring,single minded republican,blah blah blah, well you can think that but your wrong. I would just like my country to stay intact for the kids I plan on having someday, and I want them to be speaking English to lol. Ok well I think I have offended enough people tonight. Hope you enjoyed the not so quick and short of it lol. I guess that title was a little miss leading. Oh well sue me.

Edit-What is up with xanga not letting me tell people what I'm watching or listening to all the sudden. Anyone else having this problem or know whats up. Any knowledge will be great. Sorry no rewards given.

So I was looking at peoples xanga's and myspace's today to curb some of my summer boredom. After looking through a ton I have come to a couple conclusions. If you would be so kinda to let me elaborate here I go.

1. So I am uber glad that high school is long gone. After reading about drama of people I know that are still in high school and about how they went to some lame banquet and jazz like that. I thought to myself, Self high school was like a giant christmas cookie sheet and all the cookies look almost the same with maybe a different color frosting. I mean everyone dressed almost the same and talked the same and liked all the same stuff. I mean it was nice and I loved my high school but at the same time I love being in college were people are different. Well sorta I mean at my college a lot of people are still stuck in high school mode. I mean heck there is a "Cool" section for people to sit in lol. Any way I'm glad to be in the different crowd I guess and I'm glad I get to meet lots of interesting people that don't fit into everyday norms.
2. People really like to throw there lives away on nothing. I mean its interesting to see people doing absolutely nothing with life but drinking,smoking,partying, and other debaucheries things(lol just had to throw that word in). I'm not saying that I'm better then though, in fact its more heartbreaking to see people you knew and had good friendships throw alot of their life away. Even if they aren't willing to admit it that's what they are doing. I guess all you can do is pray. We all need that like all the time any way.
3. My last though for the day is a bit lighter.....Ok here it goes and this one will be the one that gets me in trouble. People listen to crapy music. HA! Yes I'm going to assert that I listen to good music in turn. My point is I really cant stand rap and a lot of what is currently radio worthy....by that I mean what your local hip hop or top 100 stations are playing. Some of what is on there is ok but a lot is not and it appears that's what a lot of people(mostly those who seem to be stuck in high school) listen to. Broaden your horizon and check out something other then what the radio plays. And overall the current state of rap and hip hop sucks. Oh and any one that downs a band for being Christian isn't giving them a fare shake because I feel a lot of the current bands out there are putting out some quality stuff. I mean sure you may have heard that style but you have also heard secular bands copy secular bands before too....So get over that one. That's not to say some secular bands aren't putting out some excellent music as well. Trouble is for the most part I just haven't found a whole lots in that area lately.

Well that's it for my rant tonight. I bet you didn't even read it all and I'm sure this will be my least commented post this week. Oh well its not about being popular. I'll leave that for the "cool" table at school. Life goes on and so will my rants,trial,struggles,loves,and anything else that my life consists of. Anyway God is good and I'm just happy that my life has stuck me were I am even if it is a boring summer and I get to re-take up my xanga posting ways. Well this music mutt is off to bed.... Go download some good new music till my next post and leave a comment on who and what you are listening to that I should check out. New music is always good wahoo. Ok you can print the papers now I'm done.

P.S. I do like some rap as you can see by who I'm listening to today. I just cant stand when there spitting rotten lyrics and sitting back on lame beats or sampling. Screw that junk I want something that has a tinge of originality....No thank you snoop,50,em,and the hoard of crap just like them, And yes I know John Ruben isn't the most original person alive...He makes me laugh though. Well you waited and you waited and here it is, well soon I promise. With in the day for sure. My China video is finished. Its really nothing great at all but at least you can get a glimpse at my trip. Right now its compressing into MPEG-4 format. If you don't know what that means don't worry that just means your not and e-media major, or a major that has something to do with computers. So any way I will post it as soon as It gets compressed and uploaded on to youtube. So hold onto your pants kids cuz its coming and then your summer will be fulfilled.....I know how can you live with out seeing china through my eyes. I do not know but soon you wont have to worry cuz you will. Ok off I go to wrap up this endeavor. Look for the edit later.
