sometimes i have to "prompt" my daughter to read my xanga. it's not something she does daily. at times we've used it to work thru issues and it's actually brought us a lot closer.

drinking can lead to wild living and pull you away from the Lord. there was a time in my own life i had to travel down the road of hard knocks and find that out first hand. today i try to use that experience to help others from traveling that road.

i so wish i could give you a hug! all of you guys are in my prayers. i hate the disease of alcoholism. it destroys so many lives. i can't write more now, just know i love you!

even though i am in recovery myself, i grew up in an alcoholic home and surrounded myself with active alcoholics my adult life. today i am still dealing with my dad. if nothing else, he will be the reason i stay sober. i'd rather be dead than to put the hell he continues to put me thru onto another person. dealing with him is truly a living hell.

i had to get sober for myself, but ultimately what made me take that first step was my daughter. it took me a long time to get there though. that is the most heartbreaking thing about alcoholism or drug addiction, you can't wish someone into recovery. all you can do is pray for God to open their eyes.

the hardest thing to overcome in entering recovery, is the fact there is life after drugs and alcohol. a life you can have fun living. it is so crazy but an alcoholic can't imagine there being a life of substance without the booze ... even though IF they are honest with themselves, the life they are living while in active addiction totally stinks and in no way resembles a "fun" life. also, one thinks alcohol allows them to escape the real world. emotionally and physically. being sober means you have to deal with life and the consequences.

that is the main reasons so many who enter recovery never make it. they never stick around for the miracle to happen. but it DOES happen. living a sober life is completely beyond my wildest imagine. i love it. it took me a long time to get there though HOWEVER today i can say it was WORTH every bump in the road.

if you ever need a shoulder or if your son ever wants to talk, know i'm here.

yea i dont want to hang with you any more and i am no longer a member of younglife, so you need to leave me alone and i wont see you at all next year. Dont call either.  you are CRAZY (like you need help crazy)

I want to go on the backpack trip? and i was wondering if maybe my friend could go who has the thing with her legs? or maybe not... idk? idk if im even still able to go but anyway. I still have no car and no bike though i asked my sister that saturday.  Sorry I never called you. I just feel/felt like quitting.  I still have all the refrences and all that for that job that I wanted despretly but they are to late to be a counselor and I still want the job for next year or something but idk what to do...  sorry for all my lame excuses, im not someone very dependable when it comes to dates or anything anymore cus my soul died or something... but perhaps ill see you, and you can talk about your son some more.
