Wow! This is good ol Matty. Listen up ladies and gentlemen, you all look great. Ah, it feels good to be sitting in my room, on my computer, listening to Classic Case's cover of Soundgarden's "Fell on Black Days." We just finished up The Black Unicorn Tour with our buds in Classic Case, Showbread, and The Fall of Troy. It was a great ol time full of pizza, burgers, babes, dudes, dead batteries, broke trailers, sprained ankles, bruised knuckles, black eyes, mustaches, punching wars at gay hotels in Portland. Here's to Denny's, Taylor Gahm, being hot, Me lookin good, lookin at kids sweatin their faces off, Downtown Singapore for hopping on those shows. The shows were all amazing and I just wanted to go ahead and throw out one of them there tip of the ol hat kinda thing to all you guys, from me, the rest of the band, and the rest of the bands on the tour. We couldn't have asked for more awesome bands and especially more awesome kids to come out to our headlining tour. You made us smile, we made you smile. 32 shows in 33 days, thanks Dave. Everyone is happy. Now, leave me be. I got stuff to take care of. And by that I'm probably just gonna go back to sleep for a few days.

By the way, continue to support the other bands as well as our good friend Will. He has a new label now and he just put out the Black Unicorn split featuring us and Classic Case covering each other and some more, including an unreleased track by us called "Cape Fear." Find out more at myspace.com/futuretenserecords or futuretenserecords.com

Keep checkin out our website for more news about our new album, Suck Out The Poison, which should hit stores this fall. I love you all.

That last I love you all part was not really true. I can't possible love everyone. Plus, who knows, you could be a really really crappy person, and I don't love crappy people. Fo sho! Peace.

PS. I have a copy of our new record and you don't. I win! Trust me though, you really really really really want it. No seriously, you do. You know I'm right.

here's the thing y'all, i'm listenin to lucero on schuylar's computer in our hotel room after a long 12 hours at the studio and i gotta say, this feels pretty good. if y'all don't like or appreciate what we throwin down then you just plan dumb. i'm tellin ya, adam, mckenzie, steve, schuylar, and me are layin it down real hard for you people. i don't know who reads this, i don't care, probably just my family, and thats cool, cause i love them with all my heart, but here's the thing (run on sentence), i just layed it down hard as nails, man. here's another thing, i've never played so much so hard on a record, and to me, i think its all pretty swell. things are comin along pretty dang well. me and schuylar are just chillin up in here, we had a nice little sunday of pizza eatin and tv watching. we watched a movie together the other night, it was nice. we go to bed at the same time and wake up every morning to each other's faces. its neat.

i'm just lookin forward to being done with this album and going on tour again and having this thing hit you like a bag of bricks in the dang face this fall. bet ya. shoot. keep it easy, ignore me, i've had a long day and i rule. real hard. cali style, fools. north carolina, southern bastards represent. dang.

this is matt, the bass player for He Is Legend. I hope you read this and feel as good about it as i do. cause it feels pretty good, and cool.

first things first. bamboozle was definitely a sight to see, i don't think i've witnessed hanging out with as many bands as we know all at the same time and just walking around and seeing band dudes and babes everywhere and seeing all sorts of babes and dudes just in one area at the same time. there were so many people there and it was so hot and i passed out in our van cause i was hot and tired and sick of walking around cause there was so much to see. but it was fun, we played terribly and sounded even worse and we rocked and rolled and spit and did what we do and it was a lot of fun for all of us. i even got hit in the face with a shoe during our second song. gotta watch out for them flyin shoes. kids are freakin mean and crazy.

secondly, lastly, and most importantly, its just me and schuylar left out here. the rest of the boys are enjoying themselves at home in wilmington north carolina. chillin, being awesome, preparing for our headlining tour later on this month. we just have bass and vocals to do on the new record and it will all be finished and dumb and awesome for you guys to wrap your ears around. enjoy this post almost as much as i didn't writing it. i feel weird. i just woke up, and diet coke with ice is amazing. cali, fools.

um, ok there is no excuse for this. the lack of entries from us. its not so much that we are hard at work, bustin it out, layin it down, keepin it real for all our homies. We are just some of the laziest people on this planet. No we haven't uploaded pictures from the drum studio onto the web. No we haven't taken many pictures from the other studio to even think about putting on the web. We did however upload pictures from the drum studio onto this computer i hold in my hands right now as i type. BUT, i don't feel like taking the time to work on it, haha. oh man. anyway, i'm promising you we will get on it at some point. Booze, Adam, the guitar player for He Is Legend is hard at work in the studio laying down pitch harmonics and dive bombs. The rest of us are shacked up in our hotel in Cypress, Cali, a few miles from Huntington Beach. Me and Schuylar are at this coffee shop across the street, greeting locals as they walk by. I have to say the times have been fun and the record is coming along just as we expected...dumb. We are scheduled to fly out to NJ this weekend to play the awesome Bamboozle Festival at the Meadowlands. that will be fun. we get to hang out with some dudes and babes we know, and see our beloved merch guy and our really good looking tour manager.

As of now we have some songs with full guitar tracks on them and we're hard at work getting the rest of them done, hopefully this week. lemme tell you, it sounds like an angry pregnant tank destroying hospitals. and that is totally literal. its wrecking havoc on Huntington and as soon as we can get it back in its "garage" we'll tame the beast and put some gnarly vocals and bass tracks on it that would make a horse cry and explode at the sound of it. so, thats gonna happen and its kinda weird but hey, what can ya do. we'll get back to you soon, hopefully with pictures, but probably not. the pictures we took would make your eyes burn. which might not be a bad thing considering you wouldn't be able to see how absolutely hideous we look right now. but yeah, take it safe dudes and babes. Cali, fool.

Matty
