Quick update before I go to school.  MAME WAS AWESOME!!!!!!  I have never been so mesmerized in all my life.  The cast was awesome including the lady who looked a whole lot like Ms. Graham the English teacher.  The singing and choreography were to die for.  They were true proffessionals.  Neway, today I have a track meet at Riverview.  Hopefully it gets warmer before then.  There's some major fog right now at my house.  Oh well, who cares about the clouds when I'm going to sunny North Carolina on Friday   Yay for high jump.  All's well that ends well.  L8er!!!

Okay.  So I'm sitting here at my computer, and I'm going through my email.  Are you with me so far?  As I'm scrolling through all of the junk that makes its way to my inbox each day about 60 out of the 200 some emails are from colleges.  I'm starting to freak out!!!  I'm going into my junior year, and I'm not sure what I'm doing with my life yet.  I have a few different things that I want to do, but I really can't narrow it down.  I need YOUR help.  What do you think I would be best at doing.  Here are your choices with definitions from Merriam-Webster's Online Dictionary.

pathologist: a specialist in pathology (the study of the essential nature of diseases and especially of the structural and functional changes produced by them); specifically : one who interprets and diagnoses the changes caused by disease in tissues and body fluids.

pharmacist:  a person licensed to engage in pharmacy (the art, practice, or profession of preparing, preserving, compounding, and dispensing medical drugs).

neurologist: one specializing in neurology (the scientific study of the nervous system especially in respect to its structure, functions, and abnormalities); especially : a physician skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of disease of the nervous system.

professor:  a faculty member of the highest academic rank at an institution of higher education b : a teacher at a university, college, or sometimes secondary school.

lawyer: one whose profession is to conduct lawsuits for clients or to advise as to legal rights and obligations in other matters.

Take your pick and post it in your comment.  Thanx!!!

Okay, away from home weblog entry.  Those are always interesting.  Well, today was just like any other Friday.  The best part about today, the fact that Mrs. Stroud can feel some emotion considering that our class hurt her feelings.  OMG, we just argued what the word "reputation" meant.  Don't flip out!!!  I definitely high jumped for like two hours after school and then coached the middle school hurdlers for another two hours.  I did pretty well for coaching all by myself   Right now, I'm at Cole's house, and we're probably going to end up going to Kingpin or something like that.  Lol, I have to get them off their butts first.  They're watching Blade Trinity.  It's okay.  Neway, I'm going to go have some fun.  L8er!!!

Hey faithful readers.  Just so you all know that last post about college wasn't supposed to be depressing; it was supposed to say that we make college more than that it is.  That's all.  All I was trying to say is that college is going to be pretty much the same as life is now...only a little bit better.  Now for today's post   So last night was great.  I went to Columbus and watched my uncle get off a plane from Iraq.  After six months, he's finally home and safe.  We went to a restaurant called El Vaquero to celebrate.  My mom's whole side of the family was pretty much there.  For those of you who don't know, that means a HUGE table.  They were definitely serving a lot of cool green drinks in honor of St. Patrick's day   One of the waitresses was flirting with me (that really made me laugh), I was getting ready to leave, and she says, "You have fun with us, si?"  I'm like, "Uh...si, adios, buenos noches!!!!"  My grandma almost accidently shoplifted some chocolate too   She didn't know that you had to pay for it, lol.  Neway, as of now I'm sitting at home.  It's 6:45 pm, and I have no plans for tonight.  If anybody wants to give me a call, go for it   Until then, L8er!!!

I came to a realization today.  For the next 6-8 years of my life things are going to be, for the most part, the same as they are now.  I was talking to Coach Miller, the new hurdle coach for the high school track team, and we got to talking about our plans for the weekend.  She was talking about how she only had 16 dollars to get her through the next week.  I told her that I knew her pain.  Then, I got to thinking.  She's a college student, and she's about in the same boat as I am.  Not too much money in her pocket.  Next, we talked about keeping up with things, such as essays and homework.  I don't have a ton of time for that and neither do I.  Do you see what my point is?  For the majority of high school students life will not change a whole lot when they go to college.  You're still going to be broke, you're still not going to have time to do everything you want to, you're still going to be worrying (or trying to worry) about your grades, some of you are going to be on special scholarships which REALLY means you're going to have to focus on a specific area, and you're still going to be almost exactly where you are now.  Most of us think of college as a place of freedom, but in truth...it's not.  You are still bound by the chains that confine you.  WoW.  It's amazing how life can hit you in the face like that.  I'm not saying this is a bad thing.  I'm just saying that it's there.  Maybe people will get something out of all of it.  Something good.  Tell me what you think.  Oh, and for those of you not planning on going to college or into the military, this doesn't apply to you.  L8er!!!
