Sometimes it's scary to think about it, right? Every moment of every day, someone is having a hard time. It's up to each of us to make the right decisions when we face hard times. Our automatic reaction may be to hurt someone, or say something that isn't Christian. I, myself, fall into this category quite often. However, God and His outstretched hand of mercy, picks me up and encourages me to try again. I may try 100 times before I get it right and finally respond to the situation correctly. But at least I'm trying and you're trying and not giving up. When we give up, we're saying to the Devil, "Okay, you've won! Pack me up and take me home." I'm not going anywhere with that hateful Devil! He roams about seeking whom he may devour. He seeks out to steal, kill, and destroy us all. I don't want him getting the better of me! I don't want him getting the better of you! Let's try hard to be all that God wants us to be in His army. Let's fight the good fight of faith and lay down those strongholds in our lives! Let's stand for Jesus and be all that we can be for Him. And when we've done all that we can, let's stand and see God work a miracle! He's able to take care of me, of you, of everyone. I want to make the right choice - to stand for God and to represent His holy name!
