My little shorn sheep...
The hair on one side of his forehead was cut all the way to the scalp so it's still a little shorter over there. This is the best we could do with it. Finn should be next in line...Hide the scissors!

The kids have suffered from a virus all week long. Fever, vomit, cough, runny nose...these have been my constant companions. Thankfully, the tide is passing and everyone is playing happily again.

Unfortunately, healthy children equals mischief (at least in our case!). For instance, this morning I woke to find Finn stripped down to his bare bottom and purposefully peeing in his bed. As I changed the sheets, he then proceeded to douse the floor as well. Boys are so gross.
Jon and I are celebrating our 8th wedding anniversary next week. As much as I love my rowdy bunch, I am looking forward to a little R&R in a hotel without all that noise!

Rachel asked for an update so here's a quickie. Life has been wild and crazy. While I have been pulling out my hair, Levi has been busy cutting his. Jon kept Levi and Finn one afternoon while I took the other two out to run errands/shop. I called to check in on things and well, let's just say when Jon answered the phone I knew immediately that something was wrong...
We took him in for an emergency hair cut but it still looks pretty dorky. I think he's getting the buzz tomorrow. After a lifetime of shagginess, it'll be weird seeing him with short locks.
Being the camera goof that he is, Levi asked me to photograph him in this pose too...
Sorry, kiddo. Even your best winning smile can't erase this one...

I just read in the paper that TJ Maxx will be opening in Monroe this fall. Yippee! (For fellow Monrovians, it will be in the old Basic building next to Toys R Us). Pet Smart, Lane Bryant, Michaels, and Shoe Warehouse are opening next to the Best Buy. Three more undetermined stores will fill the other slots. I'm hoping for a Marshall's or World Market. That would pretty much knock my socks off.

FREEBIE ALERT: Until 7 pm tonight, McDonalds has their Southern Style Chicken Sandwiches free with purchase of a medium or large drink. I'm not a big Mickey D fan but this sandwich isn't half bad. Especially when it's free! Oh, how I love that word.
Speaking of free, I have scored some incredible stuff since I started the Grocery Game. It's all I think about any more. Ridiculous.
BTW, if anyone is interested, CVS has Pampers Swipers refill packs (180 count) on clearance for half price ($4). When you add a Pampers coupon, you get another 2 bucks off. Cha-ching!
