“We shall resist whenever our adversaries demand of us obedience contrary to the orders of the gospel. We shall do so without fear, but also without pride and without hate.” -Andre Trocme

Well it's about time I posted something...
In lieu of Erin's post about consistency and my sharing in that feeling, I'm posting a picture of my latest display of consistency (oh, the sarcasm):
Some guys came to my door today trying to sell me something, but I figured out it was probably a scam and called the cops on them. Unfortunately they had already gotten other people's social security numbers and stuff from what they told me. Just so you guys know...never give out your social security number, birth date, or anything like that to someone who comes to your door. Money either - it's usually a scam. They take advantage of a lot of elderly people that way especially. Not cool.
Well it's good to know there are still people on xanga...it gets so tiring trying to keep up with all the different blog sites.
For those of you who don't know, Andrew and I are researching moving to Japan. There's a Christian sending agency that would hook us up with a church and help us find jobs etc. Unfortunately the cost of living is pretty darn high...arg. It would be so different b/c the apartments are tiny and expensive, and we wouldn't have a car, which isn't really that big of a deal, just different. But we're really excited about it. I'm doing pretty well on my Japanese. It's the coolest language ever. I'm not really into tofu and calamari, though. I guess you learn to like it, lol. The question is, how do we choose what books to leave behind? *Sigh*
My husband and I are working our way through school right now toward the mission field or to teach at a seminary/college. My life purpose is to glorify God and enjoy Him in all He gives me to do.
