| Well, since its been YEARS since i've actually updated, I feel like those of you who just have xanga (not facebook or myspace) should be updated in my life. It is almost the end of my freshman year in college. Wow! It is so crazy how the time flies. When I think back to four years ago, as a freshman in high school, I can't even believe it. I was a little kid, excited to get her liscense and to turn eighteen. Now, here I am, sitting in my dorm room at the age of 19 and I couldn't be happier. Amist the physical changes, I have also grown up emotionally (such as not being a little brat to my parents) and spiritually (its so great to have a core group of girls to lift you up all the time) My personal life is also crazy. I have been dating such a Godly man for the past year and a half. Although the majority of the time he's 350 miles away, God truly honors what we have and it's amazing to see where he'll take us. My friends have changed so much. I mean, almost none of the friends I used to have are still my friends. Now, a lot of my friends are from Cru and my bible study, but I of course haven't forgotten my buddies from home. My priorities have changed, and they are still changing. I no longer live for myself, but to serve the One who gave me life. I'm still working on it, but I feel myself growing closer every day. I am no longer the little girl who would write silly xanga entries every day to pass the time. Of course, that still happens from time to time (but now with facebook) but I am able to just sit back, and contemplate now. I am growing up. It is a sad, exciting, scary, WONDERFUL thing.
