| Just wanna make sure I don't lose everything on here. In other news-Happy 2010 in a few days. Fun times.

| I'm bringing Xanga back - drop a comment if you're with me! | | |
| Okay.
Cattie told me to apply online for a cashier position at Wal-Mart
because it's like, $8/hour with flexible scheduling. Which would
be excellent since I don't have to make a rent payment.
I've tried to apply EVERY DAY since she told me she got a job there.
You know what? Wal-Mart is experiencing technical difficulties and they hope it isn't causing anyone any inconvenience.
Well, Wal-Mart, when are you going to fix this problem, huh?
Because it IS causing me inconvenience and it greatly annoys me
because I want to apply for a job currently one full hour's drive from
where I'm at.
I fucking HATE Wal-Mart right now.

| I'm a sucker.
I know I shouldn't have.
But I did.
I couldn't watch it any longer.
Her name is Diamond.
The
kids in the apartment below me were abusing their kitten. They hit her
in the stomach and flicked her mouth until it bled yesterday. I heard
about this from the young girl living in the apartment because she and
another neighbor girl tried to stop the boys, but were told that they'd
get beaten up too if they didn't mind their own business. Today, I went
outside and saw the boys throwing the kitten into a nearby tree and
then shaking the branches until it fell. I didn't realize what they
were doing for a few minutes, but once I did, my (unfortunately very
cat allergic) friend and neighbor, went and helped me get the kitten
away from them. The kitten is so small, it should probably still be
drinking milk-it has blue eyes and I would estimate it's age to be 3 to
4 weeks. It's in a cat kennel in my livingroom, after already having a
bath from my cat Mona (who thinks every kitten on the earth is her's).
We
don't have an ASPCA around here. Just the local animal shelter, and
every bit of information I read said that if we heard of animal abuse
to call the local animal shelter-which I don't want to do because they
only hold the pets there for three days before euthanizing them and I
think this little girl deserves a second chance at life after
everything she's been through.
If anyone can help this poor kitten-please do. No one-human or animal-deserves to be abused.

| What's the story behind your first love/the first time you fell in
love/the first time someone fell in love with you? What was the
outcome, what happened, etc? Let's hear it!
I thought I was in love before. I thought I was in love with two of the
guys I dated, even though I didn't find them sexually attractive
(Didn't realize I was a lesbian until I was 20).
I think at that time, I was simply in love with the idea of being in love and having someone to care about.
With
Jennifer, it was different. I loved her-and truely loved her...I can't
describe it, but it was different than the other two and not just
because she was female. We were great for each other when we first got
together-both of us still kinda figuring out the whole "lesbian" thing
because she was my first girlfriend and I was her's. We really turned
bad for each other-we changed personality wise and we both changed into
people who could not/would not be able to live together, even though we
love each other.
There's a lot more-it's a LONG story, but
suffice to say, our relationship ended in tears and even though I know
she's bad for me, I am still wholeheartedly in love with her and
there's othing I wouldn't do for her (Which I feel may get me in
trouble sometime).
"Love is a temporary madness. It erupts
like an earthquake and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to
make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have become so
entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part.
Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not
excitement, it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal passion.
That is just being "in love" which any of us can convince ourselves we
are. Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned
away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident." -Captain Corelli's Mandolin
