| this is a short and pointless entry, but i realized something these couple of days. i realized that ambition and inspiration does not go hand in hand, but more importantly i realized that the happiest moments of my life in retrospect are also the dullest in comparison. i could go out, get drunk, party, play games, shopping, watch a movie, and hang out with a shitload of people, but it does not compare to a simple evening out where conversation topics were not even the staple of my interest. perhaps it's the pre-text that makes even the simplest moments the most enjoyable of all.

| i haven't updated in so long...
I just realized that I haven't updated my xanga since pledge semester started so I guess I really should.
First batch is from our first interfam, cooking making!

Okay so at campout, it started with Dennis, Kevin, Paget, Sharon, and me getting lost with a couple of other male-driven cars. We were lost for the longest times, driving on the same roads. We got there and it was lunch time of Costco Pizza. Afterwards it was a lot of football playing and free time. We set up tent shortly thereafter and just had a lot of bonding time with the small fam + Erica + Betty + Christina. That was really fun.
And then we ate dinner. It was friggn cold! The bonfire sure made it nice and warm and then there is this hole in my memory that just disappeared. Family skits were next and they were all pretty funny since they basically just made fun of PComm. Then it's like midnight snacks and then it's back to camp where there was more bonding.
In the morning... after breakfast and stuff is the waterfight!

By and By, I'd say that pledging has been really fun so far. I'm sorry if I ignored some of my friends lately just because I am just really busy with stuff. Those of you closer should know why and I really am sorry, but you know I'm still here for you guys.

| i got my phone
If you've seen me in the past few days, you would know that I've
been headaching over how I am going to obtain my Sony Ericsson w800
phone.
LOOK THERE IT IS. I got it, it was a lot of money, and apparnetly I
could have gotten it for free. But I chose not to focus on such things,
it is quite sexy. But instead of silver, the back of my phone is more
of a cream colored and the orange is a bit brighter and shinier, like
aluminum. I must say, I'm in love and it's so nice.
I bought it over ebay and I had to go pick it up from San Leandro
through the Bart because Angela would not give me a ride and she
refused to pick up the phone all day long. So I had to ride the Bart
and deal with a very hazy woman. When I called her, I totally thought
it was like a homosexual guy because it sounded like a man, but very
feminine. Turned out to be a woman who looks like cher. When I first
got the phone actually I realized that the phone I was getting wasn't
new. I read so much about this "warranty" sticker on the box and if
it's gone than the phone has been TAMPERED with. WHen I turned on my
phone, my contact list was full of crazy phone numbers. So I called the
woman and was like what's up with that? And hse was like, oh I tested
out the phone to see if it would work and the phone must have copied
the information off the SIM card, i was like fine. Except, there were a
lot of RANDOM ASS SONGS ON MY PHONE TOO. So it's definately used, but
it's fine, because my phone looks new. Just I know that my battery is
fucked because it doesn't last as long as other Sony Ericsson phones.
Somebody gonna get a hug real bad.
Anyway, I went to my first APhiO service project and it was actually
really fun. I really wanted to put it on the xanga because it was the
first service project, but Dennis didn't upload them to the website
already. But the service project was Adventure Playground, and we ended
up playing more on the playground than actually doing the volunteering
jobs. It was pretty exciting, and I really like the atmosphere of
AphiO, and apparently I wasn't supposed to go to all the rush events,
haha but I did so I looked like I was a very dedicated rushee. I met
cool people and I'm really looking forward to it. God I feel like a
freshmen, but no my wisdom makes me a sophomore.
I had a really busy Friday. Happy Birthday to both Erika and Angela
btw. I went to La Note twice for lunch and dinner and it was really
nice. The waitress there didn't even recognize me, you think a guy who
goes there twice, they would REMEMBER THE GUY. Between the meals I even
hit the gym and afterwards I went to have tea with Elaine, whom I
haven't convinced of my Taiwanese pride and how they should be
independent from China. I also saw Andrew Hao and Alex that night, it
was just a really fun night. Saw a lot of people and I'm sure the
birthday girls had fun too.
Seattle lost, bad superbowl. I fell aslp because it was so boring.
I'm really going to be aggressive now. I talked to Ryan about it, but I
realized my personality is so like uncompromiseable. I've been brought
up thinking I really should go for wahtever I want so I can get it. It
might be a really spoiled thought, but I realize it'll make me happy so
why not? I got to be aggressive and if I fail, I can't be afraid to
fail. :) I really really want things to work out fine so to my friend,
for it bitches for it.
Fun stuff. Fun Stuff. :) So behind on homework. I can text in Chinese
now! I just really want to thank Erika for encouraging me to get this
phone. I could have gotten it for free, but I just really am glad that
I am doing something different. The money was a lot, and probably not
even worth the lesson learned, but I'm still glad. This is all the
thanks you are going to get.
