Happy New Year everybody!
2009. it's been a crazy year for me, i'm sure its the same for everyone. so what happened last year?
- I picked up the Rubik's Cube.
- I received my SPM results.
- I flew to Singapore 4 times.
(iklan : someone shouted happy new year, i'm not sure who it was. not from my flat)
- Met sooooooooooooooooooooooooo many new friends.
- I received a perfect score for my first semester in polytechnic.
- I learnt some German.
- I found myself involved in Campus Crusade for Christ.
- I did street evangelism for the first time.
- I got myself Kayla, my Swing acoustic guitar.
- I learnt that you need to make that act of faith, no matter how big or small.
- Along with arguably the biggest emotional rollercoaster I've had so far, I discovered so much about myself, and rebuked myself countless times.
There's probably so so much more. And I can't believe I've survived 8 months in Singapore. Starting to get sick of this place, there's no place like home. But lets see how the coming year treats me, hoping for things to get better. My number 1 resolution for this year, is to settle into a church properly. I miss having Christians around me to have spiritual talk, fun nonsensical talk, and have fun doing things together. Yeah it's been happening in Campus Crusade, but there's that sudden urge for more.
Here's to a God-centered new year.
| back in singapore!
had a blast back in kk, going out with friends, seeing so many familiar faces, the good old church services, and some new ones too :]
sorry i hadn't got around to blogging when i got back. i was just too busy. i had a blast lah. happy times, emo times too. but overall it was awesomeh.

We're not gonna fall and forget How far You went to pick us up If one part's hurt the whole body's sick If one part mourns we all mourn with Him Rejoice, and we'll sing with you Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah
| so half the term is over, finally. time to kick myself into the Christmas mood. late, i know. but the past month has been a blur. so this is how studying abroad feels i guess.
hoping to get some decent blogposts up, on how the term has been, and also just some random thoughts. its all depending on how hardworking i get. or how free i get. or yeah. :P I've had a few ideas in my head, just nothing written down here.
but blogging about the present..
flying back home in roughly 6 hours! the thought of Sabah delights my... bowels. no that didn't sound right. but yeah, looking forward to just taking a break from everything called Singapore. don't get me wrong. this place is a nice place, with some really nice people. but the place where I've grown up is still the place i call home, at least for the coming years. God knows what will happen to me in 10 years down the road.
hoping to treat myself to some shopping, been holding back quite a fair bit. I even have a list. I think. Lets see.
jeans bag hoodie shoes headphones mouse a wifi phone if possible some new t shirts
so we'll see how it goes.
Merry Christmas, everyone. :]
