Im almost done...and it sounds like a truck just almost crashed on hwy 9, i heard its jake break...and now back to your regularly scheduled update...im almost done, tomorrow is the day. im assuming that the universe will not take pity on my nerves and postpone tomorrow with a sweet, delicious snow day so tomorrow is the day of the presentation. it is my first big presentation as a graduate student. its 48 slides long and hopefully as many minutes as i have to take up a whole class period with it. there are a lot of 'i thinks' involved...i think its long enough, i think i know what i need to, i think it will be good enough, i think i can make it through the presentation relativly unscathed. after this i only have to worry about the final. i dont doubt it will be hard, but im not sure if it will be as hard as getting up infront of my class; 5 other grad students and the professor. i have to convince them that i know what im doing. to quote julie andrews.."oh help"...

yesterday was the best day ever...i had to re-dye my hair for work. we have to send pics of some of our equipment being used to the guy who was responsible for us getting it in the first place and the boss-man decided my purple hair needed to be in a pic. yesterday also had a really good greys anatomy episode, im looking forward to their thanksgiving day episode, a whole 2 hours...2 sweet sweet hours of greys anatomy....hurray!

for now though, a continuation of my growth studies, whee fun...i get to check on my cultures every hour or so until they stop growing. that should be sometime today so i might not have to sleep here. i dont think my kittens would like that. id have to go home and feed them anyway but still. i also have lots of housework to do...mostly in the yard. i hate fall, it makes the leaves go on the ground and then somebody, usually me, gets to pick them all up again. it would be so much easier if the trees learned how to keep them so i wouldnt have to pick them up.

my kittens are adorable as ever and theyre begining to hate being locked out of(or into) things. they cuddle more now that its getting colder..anywho, back to work

talk about a long day.... ive been on campus since at least 8 am and its almost 6 and its STILL not time to go home. obviously, being a grad student is starting to pick up a notch. ive been running full tilt since i got here, which is hard considering my leg is acting up AGAIN. do yourself a favor, never tear a muscle. i just want to go home and crash, which is what i will do as soon as im done here. argh. so much for putting in extra work on my thing for class. oh well, i'll make it work somehow. today and tomorrow are good tv days which kinda helps. im missing ghost hunters right now, probably...i might not be as i dont know what time it actually starts, and i hope i dont miss project runway as its on at 9 and i really dont want to still be here then. and tomorrow, greys anatomy..hurray. thats the one i wont budge on, it is my one hour of happiness which i guarantee myself. but its time to check the autoclave now...and then hopefully to going home and eating....
