The Christmas Compromise It All Began With A Tree And a Snake

Look at the garland Look at the Tree Imagine a snake and what do you see ?
The snake drapes and slithers and slips round the bend Like garland that decorates the tree in your den Coiled around in a slight curvy way Like the garland on Fir Trees that you see Christmas day Oh but he's clever in camoflauge wear he'll wrap round your tree but you won't see him there

He wrapped himself around a tree like garland on a vine pretending to be a Friend of hers entangled and entwined around the trunk and past the branch and perched upon the leaves He spoke his famous lies to her in order to deceive He feigned a voice that talked aloud From the mouth of that old snake the words he shared in trickery were false with promise fake And since those days of Eden Time the serpent's still around Still using trees and trickery to take all mankind down

Don't Look in belief of all that I say Check for yourself about Christmas Day The gods of galore the elves of cement the witchcraft and myth all mar this event With hidden blind symbols that harbor great lies That all masquerade with Satan inside For Jehovah is God and Christ is His son But Satan is Jealous of all they have done He'll steal all their glory and take you away From the purest of worship to his dirty decay He'll rob you of closeness to the true God Above He'll destroy all the truth of Jehovah's Great Love Stand Firm for Messiah And hold close to his way And the hope that he gave you Don't throw it away

IT ALL BEGAN WITH A "TREE"
How ironic that the very first rebellion against Jehovah God - involved a Tree. In the Garden of Eden - Satan perched himself upon a Tree and performed a Ventiloquist Miracle - using a snake as a puppet.
And over the next thousands of years, mankind continued to rebel against Jehovah God, using Trees in their Religious Services.
Peoples of many Lands have not only worshipped Trees, but they have even worshipped the "Spirits" that supposedly lived within these trees.
It is common for Witches and Pagans to perform some of their most sacred ceremonies in the groves of Trees. There is ample historical evidence to show how many different religious groups around the World have used Trees in their worship.
The Bible has scriptures in which Jehovah God has repeatedly condemned the use of Trees in idolatrous worship. He had commanded His people over the ages - to pull the offensive trees down - that were used in worship of the many gods and goddesses of Pagandom.
And then we have "Christendom" - who has adopted the "Tree Worship" of the pagans. The origin of why they place gifts at the foot of an evergreen tree has been obscured from their minds.
And even now, around the world - people are making gift offerings under a tinsel tree - every Dec. 25th.

Tree Worship Adopted by Christendom

Tree Worship
In wintertime they thought the gods lived inside the trees And so they placed their offerings their pagan gods to please. Now Christendom has followed them to copy what they do placing gifts beneath the branch It's nothing all that new The coldness of December has caused most trees to freeze in dormant hibernation except for certain trees. Yes certain fir-like evergreens stay green the whole year round The pagans thought that this must be a place for holy ground And so they take the evergreen and place it in their home to decorate and worship it a custom so well known There's nere a place around the world that doesn't worship trees and offer gifts beneath its bough as placed on bended knees
It All Began With A Tree
IT ALL BEGAN WITH A "TREE" Satan curled himself upon the limb of a tree in his attempts to deceive Eve into disobeying God. He convinced her that the fruit of a certain tree - was very desirable to look upon. In time, he succeeded in tricking her into eating the fruit of that tree. All those who follow Satan's lead in rebellion against Jehovah God have taken tree veneration as one of their major forms of worship.
"It was and still is in many parts of Europe the custom to go out to the woods, cut down a tree and bring it into the village, where it is set up amid general rejoicings; or the people cut branches in the woods, and fasten them on every house. The intention of these customs is to bring home to the village, and to each house, the blessings which the tree-spirit has in its power to bestow." -Relics of Tree Worship in Modern Europe The Golden Bough. 1922. Sir James George Frazer (1854–1941).
"Places for worship of Baal were often high places in the hills consisting of an altar and a sacred tree. Teachings of "Sacred Trees" were not exclusively limited to Babylon, Assyria and Baal Worshippers. These customs were widespread throughout many ancient cultures." -Source: Mythology by Edith Hamilton New American Library, 1942, page 312 "The practice of tree worship has been found in many ancient cultures. Often, trees were brought indoors and decorated to ensure a good crop for the coming year. Trees have also been linked to divinity. Egyptians associated a tree with the god Baal-Tamar, while the Greeks and Romans believed that the mother of Adonis was changed into a fir tree. Adonis was one of her branches brought to life." -Winter Holiday Roundup Origins and Meanings of Christmas Items by David Johnson
"Part of Tammuz worship was to place golden balls on the tree which were representative of the testicles of Tammuz, as he was also considered a god of sex." -ALL ABOUT "CHRISTMAS" 2000 B.C.E. to 2007 C.E. by Ed Stevens, James Trimm & Baruch Ben Daniel
"Tree-worship was rooted in the oldest nature worship, which included offerings to them or the placing of lights upon them." -Tree and Plant Worship; Chpt XIII Stat. Account, iii. 27; Moore, 151; Sébillot, i. 262, 270

"The Christmas tree is specifically a Babylonian symbol. On Christmas Eve the Yule Log is thrown onto the fire. On Christmas Day there is the tree, covered in decorations and surrounded with presents, representing the resurrected Nimrod of Babylon." -The True Meaning of Christmas by Mike Gascoigne; 1996
"The Christmas tree custom is also a pagan tradition stemming from Nimrod’s mother in her attempt to immortalize her son." -Seven Seals Publication The True History of Christmas An Excerpt From: “The Biography of Noble Drew Ali The Exhuming Of A Nation” "Scandinavians celebrated the solstice as Yule. In Norse mythology the first man sprang from an evergreen tree. During the Middle Ages the Feast of Adam and Eve was celebrated on December 24. Evergreens were decorated with red apples." -The Christmas Tree "A Modern Herbal" by Maud Grieve.
"Evergreen trees were important fertility emblems for pre-Christian ceremonies marking the winter solstice. The decoration of Christmas trees is a survival of pagan tree veneration." -John Williamson, in "Christmas Greenery" The Dallas Morning News (December 6, 1986)
  The EVER-Green Tree
The evergreen was their favorite tree to use for their idolatrous rites, since it remained green all year round - which to them was indicative that a god was living within it. Yes, while all the other trees appeared to die in the bitter cold of winter, the evergreen appeared unaffected by the freeze and remained green and vibrant. The cruel winters gave the pagans reason to try to appease the tree gods. They longed for a mild winter, and looked to the tree dwelling gods to help them. Gifts were traded for these favors or requests. Thus, they decorated the evergreen trees as a way of honoring the indwelling tree spirits. They also placed gift offerings beneath the branches at the foot of the trees, as tokens of good will in their efforts to please the god of the tree.
Like a sacrifice upon an altar to their gods, the gifts were offered as appeasement to the evil spirits. But instead the altar was a "TREE".
Yes, the very object of rebellion was now being placed in a position of honor and veneration.. Yes, they placed gifts at the foot of the evergreen trees, in their form of worship, as offerings to the spirit gods that lived within the tree. And just as Satan had hoodwinked Eve into obeying him, he also tricked the early pagans into doing the same.
"Pagan Germans were tree worshipping people. Like the old Romans they prized evergreen trees as a sign of life in winter time. Branches were brought inside to give shelter to the wood spirits who dwelled in these trees. Sometimes small trees were brought inside." - Merry Christmas, A History of the Holiday; by Patricia Bunning Stevens
The Tree is the "CENTER" of Christmas - Why ?

The Spirit Within The Tree
"evergreen tree worship survives in the adoration of the Christmas Tree. People the world over venerate the tree. The veneration of tree spirits, has been an important feature of Asian cultures." -Pole-Spirits North and South (Santa Claus and the Origin of the Christmas Tree) by Patrick Harrigan; researcher and journalist
"TO the Nordic people of Scandinavia, any tree that did not ‘die’ by losing its foliage through the bitter cold of the long freezing winters was considered to be harboring a tree-spirit of unfailing life. Appropriately called ‘evergreens’, it is not surprising, therefore, that evergreen trees are adopted for use as Christmas trees." -Pole-Spirits North and South (Santa Claus and the Origin of the Christmas Tree) by Patrick Harrigan; researcher and journalist
"Pre-Christian Europe, where trees and forests were especially venerated, was a veritable hotbed of tree worship, and remains so to this day in one form or another. The cult of the tree was especially prevalent among the early Celtic and Nordic peoples of western and northern Europe respectively." -Pole-Spirits North and South (Santa Claus and the Origin of the Christmas Tree) by Patrick Harrigan; researcher and journalist "Celtic wizards or magicians, called druids, selected sacred tree groves as the best sites for their esoteric ritual performances. Oak and ash trees were felt to be especially powerful as bearers of magical wisdom." -Pole-Spirits North and South (Santa Claus and the Origin of the Christmas Tree) by Patrick Harrigan; researcher and journalist "The proximity of Christmas to the time of the winter solstice was no accident and served to identify certain pagan beliefs and practices with Christian themes. Thus, winter solstice-time rites of the evergreen tree easily evolved into those of the modern Christmas tree." -Pole-Spirits North and South (Santa Claus and the Origin of the Christmas Tree) by Patrick Harrigan; researcher and journalist

What about today ?

Has Satan once again tricked people into giving gift offerings to a tree ? Millions upon millions of human beings delightedly gather around their "Christmas trees" each year, without the slightest knowledge whatsoever of the utterly pagan, and demoniacal origin of the custom!
 A Mockery

What a mockery upon God and what contempt for mankind - that Satan has coerced people to honor and venerate a tree ! Even in their ignorance, Christendom gives glory to the very thing that caused Adam and Eve to lose eternal life.
Yes, look at the Christmas tree with it's sparking lights and glorious tinsel. Even the star upon the top gives elegance like a crown, as if it were a King on a pedestal to be exalted and glorified. And the gifts which are said to be given to Christ - are really being presented to a tree beneath it's very Feet.
And those who place the gifts there, must get upon their knees in order to place the gifts beneath the spreading branches of this evergreen god.
As much as people may deny it - they are still acting out an age-old custom of tree worship. They never stop and think of why the presents cannot go on a Table, or on anwhere else - but they must be placed beneath the tree - in much the same way that pagans have placed their gift offereings to their pagan gods - beneath their Feet.
 Ancient Proof
 Ancient Proof of Tree Worship
"Tree worship was a common feature of pagan religion among the Teutonic and Scandinavian peoples of northern Europe before their conversion to Christianity. They decorated houses and barns with evergreens to scare away demons." -COMPTON'S INTERACTIVE ENCYCLOPEDIA, 1997 Edition; article on "Christmas"
"The Christmas tree, now so common among us, was equally common in pagan Rome and pagan Egypt. The Christmas tree is Nimrod - the slain god of Babylon, come to life again." -The Two Babylons Alexander Hislop "People in Scandinavia once worshipped trees. When they became Christians, they made evergreen trees part of Christian festivals." - THE WORLD BOOK ENCYCLOPEDIA, 1966 Edition Article Titled - "Christmas"
"Tree worship was a common feature of pagan religion among the Teutonic and Scandinavian peoples of northern Europe before their conversion to Christianity. They decorated houses and barns with evergreens to scare away demons." -COMPTON'S INTERACTIVE ENCYCLOPEDIA, 1997 Edition; article on "Christmas" "Since earliest times everygreen trees have been worshipped as symbols of life, fertility, sexual potency and reproduction, and were often brought into the house and set up as idols. The pagans of old have hung apples and other fruit as a food offering and would offer gifts to the tree, which is where we get putting presents under the tree. This was purely pagan in origin." -- Holidays and Holy Days, by Tom C. McKenney
  Decorating A Tree - Why ?

"Virgil, the Roman poet, speaks of decorating pine trees in honor of Bacchus, the god of drinking and revelry." -The Origins of Christ-Mass By G.V. "Rene" Growcott Customs have been preserved in practically every part of the world of hanging objects upon trees in order to establish some relationship between the gift giver and the tree. Tree worshipers, believed that their sacred trees contained the spirits of all sorts of gods.
"The decorating of an evergreen tree was part of the worship of Tammuz or Baal, the Sun-god of ancient Babylon. Through the Church of Rome – the Babylon of the Apocalypse – this act of Baal-worship has been handed down through the centuries. Deluded Protestants, by setting up Christmas trees in their homes, schools and churches, are guilty before God of upholding and perpetuating a practice peculiar to the worship of Baal. How can anything connected with the worship of Baal be pleasing to the Lord?" --The Pagan Origin of Christmas; A Reminder Rev. William MacLean (1907-85)
"the male reproductive organ was of tremendous importance in the Mystery Religions representing, no doubt, power and fertility. Trees were common phallic symbols connected with the sun god. the Ball shaped ornaments, representing the womb were hung all around the phallus. Today, families gather together in breathless anticipation and delight when the obelisk (tree‑top ornament) is placed in its position of honor. When you learn that it represents the sexual union between the Babylonian mother-goddess and her sun‑god, son/husband (Nimrod), it becomes an object of disgust." --(The Encyclopedia Britannica, 14th edition, 1973)
In this fashion, the growing universal(catholic) church allowed massive numbers of pagans to come right into the so-called "Christian" religion, while retaining their ancient superstitions, festivals and objects of worship! "The modern Christmas tree was born in the 8th century, when St. Boniface was converting the Germanic tribes. The tribes worshipped trees, decorating them for the winter solstice." -Winter Holiday Roundup Origins and Meanings of Christmas Items by David Johnson
Gift Offerings Beneath a Gilded Tree

"Since earliest times evergreen trees have been worshipped as symbols of life, fertility, sexual potency and reproduction, and were often brought into the house and set up as idols. The pagans of old have hung apples and other fruit as a food offering and would offer gifts to the tree, which is where we get putting presents under the tree. This was purely pagan in origin." -- Holidays and Holy Days, by Tom C. McKenney
"Offerings were placed by the folk on sacred trees, because the trees were the abode of spirits or divinities." -Tree and Plant Worship; Chpt XIII D'Arbois, Les Celtes, 52.
"Pagan families would bring a live tree into the home so the wood spirits would have a place to keep warm during the cold winter months. Bells were hung in the branches so they could tell when a spirit was present. Food and treats were hung on the branches for the spirits to eat and a five-pointed star, the pentagram, was placed atop the tree." -Christmas Legends Spider's Christmas Gifs

The intention of these customs is to bring home to the village, and to each house, the blessings which the tree-spirit has in its power to bestow." -The Golden Bough by Sir James George Frazer; [1922] Relics of Tree Worship in Modern Europe Chapter 10
"In pagan Roman times trees were decorated with trinkets. In the celebration of the pagan Yule season, the ancient sun-worshiping Teutons are said to have decorated fir trees." -Christ and Christmas ; the Truth and the Lie by Robert A. Grove
"Tree worship was common among the pagan Europeans and survived their conversion to Christianity in the Scandinavian customs of decorating the house with evergreens." -Encyclopedia Britannica article; "Christmas Tree" A Compromise

"This compromise between paganism and Christianity resulted in the development of "the man of sin" as foretold in prophecy as opposing and exalting himself above God. That gigantic system of false religion is a masterpiece of Satan's power-- a monument of his efforts to seat himself upon the throne to rule the earth according to his will." -The Great Controversy, page 50, paragraph 1 - Chapter Title: An Era of Spiritual Darkness
"The Church often effected a compromise. Images of the gods affixed to trees were replaced by those of the Virgin." --Tree and Plant Worship; Chpt XIII Grimm, Teut. Myth. 76; Maury, 13, 299 "The Romans called their December celebration 'Saturnalia' - in honor of their god, Saturn. The Romans celebrated using evergreens to decorate their homes. As you can see the Christian tradition of honoring and decorating a Christmas tree is nothing new." -The Christmas Tree "A Modern Herbal" by Maud Grieve. "So leave the corruption and DO NOT COMPROMISE ; leave it for good," says God. "Don't link up with those who will pollute you. I want you all for myself." (2Corinthians 6:17)(MSG)-BibleGateway "Historians have found evidence of tree decoration and tree worship in places such as ancient Rome and Egypt. The Old Testament also records God's displeasure with his own people for following pagan practices involving trees." -FAITH UNDER FIRE Christmas in America becomes battleground WorldNetDaily Exclusive December 14, 2002

 Warnings From the Bible

"...I will punish those who.... introduce pagan....practices; And I'll punish all who import pagan superstitions...." (Zephaniah 1:7)(MSG)-BibleGateway
"Thus says the Lord: 'Learn NOT the way of the heathen nations...For the customs and ordinances of the peoples are false, empty, and futile; it is but a tree which one cuts out of the forest, the work of the hands of the craftsman with the ax or other tool. They deck the idol with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers so it will not fall apart or move around." (Jeremiah 10:2-4)(AMP)-BibleGateway "Do not bring a detestable thing into your house or you, like it, will be set apart for destruction. Making Excuses
"The man...COMPROMISES with worldlings, and to quiet his own conscience, he invents a theory by which such compromises are justified, even commended. He receives the praises of the judicious, but he has, in truth, gone over to the enemy." -(C-H,S., 1888, Sword and the Trowel)
"Faithful men of God who knew and loved the Scriptures of truth fought against the mingling of paganism with the name of Christ. They were valiant in opposing the entry of Christmas and its festivals among the believers. But now that you know God-- or rather are known by God-- how is it that you are turning back to those weak and miserable principles? Do you wish to be enslaved by them all over again? You are observing special days and months and seasons and years. I fear for you, that somehow I have wasted my efforts on you. " (Galatians 4:8-11)(NIV)-BibleGateway

| Candy Coating The Bible's Message
".....With their tongues, they say sweet-sounding words that are not true." (Psalm 5:9)(NLV)-BibleGateway
They say - "...don't preach the truth. Just say what we want to hear, even if it's false." (Isaiah 30:10)(CEV)-BibleGateway "Men like that are not working for our Lord Jesus Christ. They are chained to their own desires. With soft words they say things that people want to hear...." (Romans 16:18)(NLV)-BibleGateway
"The time will come when people will not listen to the truth. They will look for teachers who will tell them only what they want to hear." (2Timothy 4:3)(NLV)-BibleGateway
"No amount of sugarcoating God's word will dull its sharp blade." -The Truth is Critical By Nathan Mates 4/29/01
Candy Coating The Bible's Message Many people encourage others to "Candy Coat" the Bible's message in order to make it more "palatable" to the hearers of our preaching work. They claim that more bees are lured with honey than with truth. They insist that the warnings that Jesus issued to mankind would only scare people away. They contend that the Bible's stern words should be avoided at all cost. But is this being fair to those who seek salvation and truth? And even more important - is this being fair to Jehovah God and Jesus Christ?
"Today's "tolerance loving" people would prefer to throw out everything not delivered exactly the way they want-- if it's not perceived as wholesome, then it is rejected. And yet, the Bible is full of places where judgment and punishment are given as warnings. Does this mean that all the harsh words of the prophets should be thrown out? Absolutely not. On the contrary, it should remind us all the more that the truth is not always going to be pleasantly received by the audience. No amount of sugarcoating God's word will dull its sharp blade." -The Truth is Critical By Nathan Mates 4/29/01
The Message of Judgment is Hated
"In its wide usage - persons were called prophets who communicated a divine message - whether it was oral or written. The prophets who preached judgment were hated and persecuted." -Bible Study on the Prophets csc.com "The prophets, like Jesus, proclaimed righteous judgment....Prophets were hated and considered dangerous. Ezekiel proclaimed God's warning to Israel (Ezekiel 33)..." -Weekly Reflections © December 14, 2002 John S. Hilkevich, Ph.D. Jesus and the Prophets Did Not Candy Coat Their Messages
The Prophets - "faced jeers and flogging, while still others were chained and put in prison. They were stoned; they were sawed in two; they were put to death by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated" [Hebrews 11:36-37] and yet - the prophets continued to deliver harsh messages to the people." -The Truth is Critical By Nathan Mates 4/29/01
"Jesus harsh message incensed the local religious leaders to seek to take his life. Matthew 23 is a whole chapter of Jesus's words condemning the Pharisees." -The Truth is Critical By Nathan Mates 4/29/01 "The prophets' words were about as subtle as a slap in the face. They were hardly "tolerant." In fact, most of them would not be received as being "helpful for building up" -- Even Jesus's righteous denunciations of the Pharisees were designed to rip them up." -The Truth is Critical By Nathan Mates 4/29/01 "...the prophets often warned about the coming judgment of God on disobedient mankind - and as a result - the prophets were often very unpopular. Many were hated and persecuted and some were put to death." (Matthew 23:34)." -Christ B.C. Part III: A Prophet Like Moses Dr. Ray Pritchard
Christendom Wants Only Candy Coated Messages
The "Feel Good" Syndrome
"Tolerance needs to take a back seat to the truth in this age of false teachings wrapped up in feel-good packages." -The Truth is Critical By Nathan Mates 4/29/01
"They say to those who speak for God, "You must not tell to us what is right. Speak pleasing things to us, tell us what we like to hear." (Isaiah 30:10)(NLV)-BibleGateway
Fulfillment of the Message Often Takes Time
"Sometimes the prophets predictions were immediately fulfilled, but often centuries would pass before the predicted events would occur. This meant that often the prophets themselves would not live to see their words fulfilled, leaving them mocked by their contemporaries but vindicated by time." -Christ B.C. Part III: A Prophet Like Moses Dr. Ray Pritchard Jesus Did Not Candy Coat His Message Jesus did not candy coat his message. He spoke truth regardless of what anyone felt or thought about it. How did the Jews and the religious leaders react to Jesus message ? "Then the disciples came to him (Jesus) and asked, 'Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this?' " (Matthew 15:12)(NIV)-BibleGateway "The chief priests and the teachers of the law heard this and began looking for a way to kill him." (Mark 11:18)(NIV)-BibleGateway "So from that day on they plotted to take his life." (John 11:53)(NIV)-BibleGateway "The message of Jesus was NOT...popular among some people of his day. The princes didn't like it, the politicians didn't care for it, the preachers were offended by it, the priests certainly didn't like it, and so they all in one accord rejected it. (Jesus Message) It is, in fact, the MOST HATED doctrine in all of the world...." -Paige Patterson, president of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas Pleasing Mankind or Pleasing Christ ? If we seek to candy coat our message in order to "win souls for Christ" - we are being more concerned with pleasing men than we are about pleasing Christ and being true to his warning messages. "Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant." (Galatians 1:10)(NLT)-BibleGateway "but just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who examines our hearts." (1Thessalonians 2:4)(NASB)-BibleGateway Can We Pick and Choose Only The "Sweet" Stuff ?
"...You can't pick and choose in these things, specializing in keeping one or two things in God's law and ignoring others..." (James 2:8-10)(MSG)-BibleGateway Picking and Choosing Only the Sweet Scriptures Cheating outselves Out of Reality
Reality as found in the Bible - is not always pleasant, but like a doctor's prescription for health - only by accepting reality and doing as the doctor prescribes - will we ever hope to Live a Long and prosperous Life. So, Likewise - The Bible's warning messages should not be overlooked in favor of the Candy Coated words that are also part of the Bible's message.
Indeed, the prophets, Jesus Christ and the Apostles also had Bitter / Sweet messages that gave a complete overall view of what lies ahead. We do well - to Look at the complete picture that the Bible presents and not just at what pleases our ears, or what makes us feel good.
A healthy meal - never consists of just a sweet dessert, but rather a complete wholesome diet of essential nutrients. Likewise - Out life depends upon a healthy, nutritious consumption of all the words of God, and not just what pleases us.. A Warning Meal and A Sweet Dessert
Jesus issued Some Serious Warnings "See, I have warned you beforehand." (Matthew 24:25)(AMP)-BibleGateway "I have told you this, so that when the time comes you will remember that I warned you." (John 16:4)(NIV)-BibleGateway "Listen to this carefully. I'm warning you." (Mark 3:28)(MSG)-BibleGateway "Yes, I'm telling you these things now, so that when they happen, you will remember I warned you." (John 16:4)(NLT)-BibleGateway "...The Lord will punish men for all such sins, as we have already told you and warned you." (1Thessalonians 4:6)(NIV)-BibleGateway
Jesus issued some serious Warnings. He did not candy-coat the truth. "As the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age." (Matthew 13:40)(NIV)-BibleGateway "I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!" (Luke 12:49)(NIV)-BibleGateway "But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed." (Luke 17:29-30)(NIV)-BibleGateway
"I tell you that it will be more bearable for Sodom on the day of judgment than for you." (Matthew 11:24) (NIV) -BibleGateway "Immediately after the distress of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken." (Matthew 24:29)(NIV)-BibleGateway "because those will be days of distress unequaled from the beginning, when God created the world, until now– and never to be equaled again. If the Lord had not cut short those days, no one would survive. " (Mark 13:19,20)(NIV)-BibleGateway
"But in those days, following that distress, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken. At that time men will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory." (Mark 13:24-26)(NIV)-BibleGateway "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Be on guard! Be alert ! You do not know when that time will come." (Mark 13:32,33)(NIV)-BibleGateway "There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. Men will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. For it will come upon all those who live on the face of the whole earth. Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man." (Luke 21:25-27,35,36)(NIV)-BibleGateway But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself, 'My master is staying away a long time,' and he then begins to beat his fellow servants... The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. He will cut him to pieces ..." (Matthew 25:48-50)(NIV)-BibleGateway "...This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels. He will punish those who do NOT KNOW God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the majesty of his power on the day he comes to be glorified." (2Thessalonians 1:7-10)(NIV)-BibleGateway
"...For there is going to come a day of judgment when God...will judge all people according to what they have done. He will give eternal life to those who persist in doing what is good...But he will pour out his anger and wrath on those who live for themselves, who refuse to obey the truth." (Romans 2:5-8)(NLT)-BibleGateway
A Sweet Dessert - The Reward
By Looking at the complete picture, and obeying the entire word of God, we can enjoy a rich dessert at the end of our hard work.
Jehovah God will reward us at the hands of His Dear son, Jesus Christ
"...each will receive his own reward according to his own labor. " (1Corinthians 3:8) (NASB) -BibleGateway "And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books." (Revelation 20:12)(NIV)-BibleGateway
"For yet a little while, and the evildoers will be no more; though you look with care where they used to be, they will not be found. But the meek in the end shall inherit the earth and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace." (Psalm 37:10,11)(AMP)-BibleGateway
"Happy are the meek and mild since the will inherit the earth." (Matthew 5:5)(AMP)-BibleGateway "And my servant... shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in mine ordinances, and observe my statutes, and do them. And they shall dwell in the land...for ever: my servant shall be their prince for ever. Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them; and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore. My tabernacle also shall be with them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And the nations shall know that I am Jehovah." (Ezekiel 37:24-28)(ASV)-BibleGateway | | |
| SEEKING TO HAVE THEIR EARS TICKLED -
SEEKING TO HAVE THEIR EARS TICKLED - "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires." (2Timothy 4:3)(NASB)-BibleGateway
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ The Bible Gospel of our Lord has been watered down for years for those to hear what they prefer to please and tickle their ears
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ The Bible message is being watered down so the world will accept it. Religious leaders and teachers are attempting to please their hearers - rather than please God by delivering his message "undiluted". The churches are more concerned with how to please people. "Let’s not offend anyone or they won't come to our church," - Dec. 21 2003 article -in The Daily Sentinel "...They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever they want to hear." (2Timothy 4:3)(NLT)-BibleGateway
The truth from the Bible can often sound "harsh" to those hearing it or reading it. As a result, some prefer to hear what will make them happy. They want to hear that nothing is going to change - and that they don't have to change or do anything. The new religious philosophy is - not God's - but rather that of man. THEY WANT TO HEAR THIS : "GOD LOVES YOU JUST AS YOU ARE" "THERE ARE NO WRONGS - ONLY RIGHTS" "NOTHING ON THE EARTH IS EVER GOING TO CHANGE" "ACCEPT GOD AND YOU ARE SAVED" "YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO ANYTHING. NOTHING IS REQUIRED OF YOU. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DO A SINGLE THING - JUST RELAX" No effort - no changes, no wrongs, no rights. Is this really the message that God wants us to deliver ? "Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God ? Or am I trying to please men ? If I were still trying to please men, I would NOT be a servant of Christ. " (Galatians 1:10)(NIV)-BibleGateway "On the contrary, we speak as men approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel. We are NOT trying to please men - but God, who tests our hearts. " (1Thessalonians 2:4)(NIV)-BibleGateway The Bible makes it clear that when Christ returns - he will settle accounts with everyone on the earth. We will all be either rewarded or punished for our present and past deeds.
Most people don't want to hear that. THEY DO "NOT" WANT TO HEAR THIS : "God will give to each person according to what he has done." (Romans 2:6) (NIV) -BibleGateway ".... each will receive his own reward according to his own labor. " (1Corinthians 3:8) (NASB) -BibleGateway "If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God." (Hebrews 10:26,27)(NIV)-BibleGateway "PUNISH" AND "OBEY" - ARE WORDS THAT THEY DON'T WANT TO HEAR "He will punish those who do not "obey" the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the majesty of his power." (2Thessalonians 1:8,9)(NIV)-BibleGateway "And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books." (Revelation 20:12)(NIV)-BibleGateway People today, don't want to hear the truth. Their ears want to be tickled. "They will want to listen to the things they like to hear. And they will bring in many teachers who will teach them just what they want to do." (2Timothy 4:3)(WE)-BibleGateway
The Man-Made Theory of Perpetual Redemption (where people are saved by Faith Alone - regardless of their personal Deeds) - is a doctrine that is NOT supported by the Bible.
If we do not stay "Joined" to Christ by obedience to his commands and to the Will of his Father, Jehovah God - we will be "unplugged" from God's spirit - and lose out on the reward of "Everlasting Life".
One Bible Translation puts it this way -
"If you don't stay joined to me, you will be thrown away...." (John 15:6)(CEV)-BibleGateway
` ONCE SAVED IS "NOT" ALWAYS SAVED If we do not stay "Joined" to Christ by obedience to his commands and to the Will of his Father, Jehovah God - we will be "unplugged" from God's spirit - and lose out on the reward of "Everlasting Life".
"If you don't stay joined to me, you will be thrown away...." (John 15:6)(CEV)-BibleGateway
ONCE SAVED IS "NOT" ALWAYS SAVED
Contrary to what Many religious teachers say - Once Saved is NOT Always Saved. The Bible Says : "...some godless people have wormed their way in among you, saying that God's forgiveness allows us to live immoral lives..." (Jude 1:4) (NLT) -BibleGateway Although the Bible speaks of forgiveness, many Bible examples show that God holds humans responsible for their conduct. "These things happened to them as a warning to us. All this was written in the Scriptures to teach us who live in these last days." (1Corinthians 10:11)(CEV)-BibleGateway Many practice evil and keep getting away with it. As a result - some people have been lulled into a false sense of security regarding punishment. They think that they will never be called to justice. "Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil." (Ecclesiastes 8:11)(ASV)-BibleGateway
Or - as this version puts it : "Because the sentence against evil deeds is so long in coming, people in general think they can get by with murder." (Ecclesiastes 8:11)(MSG)-Biblegateway EVENTUALLY, HOWEVER, JUSTICE WILL BE SERVED "I, Jehovah, search the mind, I try the heart, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings." (Jeremiah 17:10)(ASV)-BibleGateway
"...Ye shall not be unpunished; for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith Jehovah of hosts..." (Jeremiah 25:29) (ASV) -BibleGateway "In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to all men by raising him from the dead." (Acts 17:30,31)(NIV)-BibleGateway
God expects us to fight our weaknesses. We may not always win, But he does expect us to put up a good fight for the faith. "Fight the good fight of the faith." (1Timothy 6:12) (NIV) -BibleGateway "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. " (2Timothy 4:7) (NIV) - BibleGateway Those that give up and tire out will NOT receive the reward. "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." (Galatians 6:9) (NIV) -BibleGateway Only those that finish the race and stand firm to the end - will be saved, ".but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. " (Matthew 10:22) (NIV) -BibleGateway Jesus found this statement - well worth repeating. "but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. " (Matthew 24:13) (NIV) -BibleGateway The Bible reminds us that we reap what we sow. Whatever we plant in the way of our actions and deeds, is the reward that we will reap. We can't fool God. "Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life." (Galatians 6:7,8) (NIV) -BibleGateway God does NOT allow our imperfection to be a constant excuse for bad conduct. "...some godless people have wormed their way in among you, saying that God's forgiveness allows us to live immoral lives..." (Jude 1:4) (NLT) -BibleGateway Yes, in the end - we will be rewarded ACCORDING to our deeds. "God will give to each person according to what he has done." (Romans 2:6 ) (NIV) -BibleGateway "Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says." (James 1:22)(NIV) -BibleGateway
You will be judged by what you do and NOT on faith alone -
"And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. (Revelation 20:12) (NIV) -BibleGateway "If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God." (Hebrews 10:26,27)(NIV)-BibleGateway "each will receive his own reward according to his own labor. " (1Corinthians 3:8) (NASB) -BibleGateway
FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD "Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead." (James 2:17)(NKJV)-BibleGateway "What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? can such faith save him? Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. But someone will say, "You have faith; I have deeds." Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do. You see that a person is justified by what he does and not by faith alone. As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead. (James 2:14-18,24,26)(NIV)-BibleGateway Many people want the blessings but not the responsibility of following and obeying Jesus. In fact, the word "obey" often disturbs them. Yet Jesus said: "Come be my follower." (Luke 18:18-23) And the Bible states: "Those who do not obey the good news about our Lord Jesus . . . will undergo the judicial punishment of everlasting destruction." -2 Thessalonians 1:8, 9; Matthew 10:38; 16:24. "He will punish those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the majesty of his power." (2Thessalonians 1:8,9)(NIV)-BibleGateway Don't be lulled into a false sense of security regarding your faith - ONCE SAVED IS "NOT" ALWAYS SAVED.
ONLY THOSE THAT ENDURE UNTIL THE END WHEN CHRIST RETURNS - WILL BE SAVED. "...he who stands firm to the end will be saved." (Matthew 10:22)(NIV)-BibleGateway And Jesus repeats this - a second time : "but he who stands firm to the end will be saved." (Matthew 24:13)(NIV)-BibleGateway Once Saved - Always Saved What does the Bible Say ????
"You see that a man is justified - pronounced righteous before God - through what he does and not alone through faith..." (James 2:24)(AMP)-BibleGateway "...some godless people have wormed their way in among you, saying that God's forgiveness allows us to live immoral lives." (Jude 1:4)(NLT)-BibleGateway
"Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to" (Luke 13:23,24)(NIV)-BibleGateway "If you don't stay joined to me, you will be thrown away..." (John 15:6) (CEV) -BibleGateway "They have left the straight way and wandered off ..... If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning. (2Peter 2:15,20)(NIV)-BibleGateway "If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God." (Hebrews 10:26,27)(NIV)-BibleGateway "He will punish those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the majesty of his power." (2Thessalonians 1:8,9)(NIV)-BibleGateway "But if you keep on being faithful right to the end, you will be saved." (Mark 13:13)(CEV)-BibleGateway "Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead." (James 2:17)(NKJV)-BibleGateway "But when a righteous man turns away from his righteousness, commits iniquity and does according to all the abominations that a wicked man does, will he live? All his righteous deeds which he has done will not be remembered for his treachery which he has committed and his sin which he has committed; for them he will die. " (Ezekiel 18:24) (NASB) -BibleGateway "When the righteous turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, then he shall die in it. " (Ezekiel 33:18)(NASB)-BibleGateway "What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? (James 2:14)(NIV)-BibleGateway "Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, 'Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed,' but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead." (James 2:15-17)(NIV)-BibleGateway "But someone will say, "You have faith; I have deeds." Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do. You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that-and shudder. You foolish man, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless " (James 2:18-20)(NIV)-BibleGateway "Was not our ancestor Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did. And the scripture was fulfilled that says, "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness," and he was called God's friend. You see that a person is justified by what he does and not by faith alone." (James 2:21-24)(NIV)-BibleGateway "As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead." (James 2:26)(NIV)-BibleGateway "God will give to each person according to what he has done." (Romans 2:6)(NIV)-BibleGateway ".... each will receive his own reward according to his own labor. " (1Corinthians 3:8)(NASB)-BibleGateway "And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books." (Revelation 20:12)(NIV)-BibleGateway BUT MY CHURCH DOESN'T SAY THAT
WHY NOT ? SEEKING TO HAVE THEIR EARS TICKLED - "Let's not offend anyone or they won't come to our church," - Dec. 21 2003 article -in The Daily Sentinel "...They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever they want to hear." | The Problem With John 10:30 Used as A Trinity "Proof" Text
That "THEY" May be ONE Just as We are One. The First thing to note in John 10:30 - is that the Trinity is not even mentioned. Only 2 (two) people are mentioned - NOT 3(three)
This scripture is taken out of context - because both before and after Christ describes his relationship with his Father, Jehovah God, he also says that he and his followers are also "One" with him and his Father. Christ wants his followers to "be one" with each other, and also for them to "be one" with himself and with Jehovah God, too. That "THEY" May be ONE just as We are One. The Father and I are one and so did Jesus say Thus showing how he agreed with God in every single way He prayed to his Father, Jehovah to ask that his followers too might be one with each other as he was with his Father too. Jesus also asked his Father to share in the apostle's love so their unity would be similar to his oneness with God above. The sameness of their purpose in thought and word and deed a harmony between them by which they would succeed Christ likened the closeness of marriage to becoming as one flesh where a man and woman's union could only be parted by death Paul also spoke of such oneness That Christ shared with God above comparing it to what Paul shared with the followers that he loved With all of this information about Jehovah and his son we can understand what Jesus meant when he said the two are one. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ In prayer to his father, Jehovah God - Jesus said the following about his followers : "Then they will be one with each other, just as you and I are one. " (John 17:11) (CEV) -BibleGateway "I and the Father are one heart and mind." (John 10:30) (MSG) -BibleGateway " I pray for them. ... ...Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name-- the name you gave me-- so that they may be one as we are one." (John 17:9,11) (NIV) -BibleGateway "My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me." (John 17:20,21) (NIV) -BibleGateway "I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. ...in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them." (John 17:22,23,26) (NIV) -BibleGateway
"Holy Father, guard them as they pursue this life That you conferred as a gift through me, So they can be one heart and mind As we are one heart and mind. " (John 17:11,12) (MSG) -BibleGateway "The goal is for all of them to become one heart and mind-- Just as you, Father, are in me and I in you, So they might be one heart and mind with us." (John 17:21) (MSG) -BibleGateway "The same glory you gave me, I gave them, So they'll be as unified and together as we are-- I in them and you in me. Then they'll be mature in this oneness, And give the godless world evidence That you've sent me and loved them In the same way you've loved me." (John 17:22,23) (MSG) -BibleGateway "then make my joy complete by being likeminded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. " (Philippians 2:2) (NIV) -BibleGateway
"Now make me completely happy! Live in harmony by showing love for each other. Be united in what you think, as if you were only one person. " (Philippians 2:2) (CEV) -BibleGateway
"The goal is for all of them to become one heart and mind-- Just as you, Father, are in me and I in you, So they might be one heart and mind with us. Then the world might believe that you, in fact, sent me. The same glory you gave me, I gave them, So they'll be as unified and together as we are-- I in them and you in me. Then they'll be mature in this oneness, And give the godless world evidence That you've sent me and loved them In the same way you've loved me." (John 17:21-23) (MSG) -BibleGateway
"Now I am departing the world; I am leaving them behind and coming to you. Holy Father, keep them and care for them-- all those you have given me-- so that they will be united just as we are. The precise nature of this unity must be derived from context. Thus, Jesus is not asserting that He is the same person as the Father - which would have demanded the masculine form of "one".” -- Source – The Apologists Bible Commentary Article entitled “John 10:30”

"In this chapter we will examine some verses which have been abused by the clergy in order to support their corrupted teachings." -THE NINETEEN QUESTIONS FOR CHRISTIAN CLERGY by Edip Yuksel ""I and my Father are one." This verse is one of the most abused verses in the Bible. To understand the intention and purpose of this statement we have to look at its context. If we read verses 24 to 39 carefully, we will find out...." -THE NINETEEN QUESTIONS FOR CHRISTIAN CLERGY by Edip Yuksel
"Christ therefore testifies that his affairs are so closely united to those of the Father, that the Father’s assistance will never be withheld from himself and his sheep. The ancients made a wrong use of this passage to try to prove that Christ is (ὁμοούσιος) of the same essence with the Father. But Christ does not argue about the unity of substance, but about the agreement which he has with the Father...." - John Calvin: commentary of John 10:30.
"One of the alleged direct proofs that is often offered for belief in the trinity and “oneness” doctrines is the unity of the Father and Son in John 10:30, where John records Jesus as saying: “I and my father are one.” Of itself, there is nothing at all that hints of three persons in one God in John 10:30. " - Jesus and His God Restoration Light Bible Study Services adapted from Paul S. L. Johnson’s book entitled GOD, pages 477, 516,7,8.
"But we have even stronger evidence in the writings of John who records that Jesus prayed (John 17:11,21,22) that all of the saints (his followers) may be one. He did not pray that they be all one being or substance, which would be nonsense, but that their unity may be one in mind, heart and will. Since the oneness for which He prayed for them was NOT a oneness of being, the oneness between Him and the Father cannot be that of being, because Jesus in John 17:11,22 prays that the oneness for which He prayed on their behalf would be patterned after the oneness that exists between the Father and himself: “That they may be one *as we are*.” - Jesus and His God Restoration Light Bible Study Services adapted from Paul S. L. Johnson’s book entitled GOD, pages 477, 516,7,8.
"Hence the oneness between the Father and Jesus is not one of being, but one of mind, heart and will. Moreover Jesus defines this oneness in verse 21 as follows: “that they all may be one, as thou, Father, art in me (John 14:17,20) and I in thee (John 14:10,11,20) (1 Corinthians 3:23; 11:3) are passages that also strongly prove Jesus' inferiority to the Father, and the Father's being the Supreme Being..." - Jesus and His God Restoration Light Bible Study Services adapted from Paul S. L. Johnson’s book entitled GOD, pages 477, 516,7,8.
"Thus these verses prove that the same kind of oneness that exists between the saints, also exists between the Father and Son and vice versa. Therefore, since the oneness that exists between the saints is not oneness of being, but one of heart, mind, and will, the oneness that exists between the Father and Son is not one of being, but one of will, heart, and mind." - Jesus and His God Restoration Light Bible Study Services adapted from Paul S. L. Johnson’s book entitled GOD, pages 477, 516,7,8.

"After all, if the Bible already clearly taught that God existed as 'three co-equal and co-eternal persons,' it should hardly seem necessary to tamper with the text. The truth is, it's unlikely the idea of a triune God could have ever been derived from the pages of scripture as originally given by God, for it seems to have been unknown to the writers of God's Word, and to the first century church." -The Trinity- A Doctrine Overdue for Extinction; Part 2 "Imperfections in the King James Version" by Ted Whitten "Trinitarians still had to deal with the Bible, and so ways had to be devised to make this pagan doctrine appear to agree with it." -Forerunner Commentary "Trinity" by John W. Ritenbaugh under - The Nature of God - Elohim "The doctrine of the Trinity was NOT a teaching of the original Christians, who were either with Jesus himself or taught directly by the surviving apostles. This explains why it is not found in the Bible. If it was a fundamental, core doctrine of such great importance, it would have been clearly and unmistakably stated in scripture. The fact that the vast majority of professed Christians and church doctrine today maintain a belief in the Trinity does not prove it is correct. Rather, it suggests that corruption of Christian doctrinal truths is widespread and deep." -- Is Jesus God Almighty? Is the Trinity Scriptural? By Gordon Coulson

Modern-Day Translators have done the Same

"The doctrine that Jesus Christ - the Son of God was "God -the-son" - was decreed by worldly and ecclesiastical powers. Men were forced to accept it - at the point of the sword or else, Thus, the error of the trinity was propounded to the end - that ultimately people believed it to be the truth. Thus Christianity became in essence like Babylonian heathenism, with only a veneer of Christian names." --- Forgers of the Word -1983 Victor Paul Wierwille "The day was to come when the Nicene party won out completely and then the emperors... decreed that one who denied the Trinity should be put to death." -The Church of our Fathers - 1950, pg. 46

Bible Alterations - How and Why ? "The changes to the Bible's text should make clear the effort made by the church in power at the time to alter the text to support the concept of the Holy Trinity, which they created. For at least the following cases shown above, the words inspired by our Creator have clearly and intentionally been altered: 1 John 5:7, Acts 8:36-38, John 5:4 & Mark 16:9-20 Jesus is NOT the same person as God the Father Almighty. They are not one in the same." -The Bible: Truth, Alterations & Discernment The Inspired Word of God Collins Hamblen "it should be clear that the changes to the King James Version of the Bible were an intentional effort to alter the Bible to support the false theology of the Holy Trinity and to elevate Jesus to be the same as God, to change Jesus into God the Father Almighty. This is not the Jesus the apostles taught (2 Corin 11:4). This intention and agenda can be seen in the blatant alteration of 1 John 5:7 ." -The Bible: Truth, Alterations & Discernment The Inspired Word of God Collins Hamblen
"the early version of the Bible are consistent in speaking of God the Father and Jesus the Messiah as separate persons. The power Jesus has - is given to him from the Father. The Bible is clear that worship should be directed toward God alone and not Jesus (Mt 4:10; Acts 24:14-15; Heb 12:28; Rev 14:7, 19:10 & Rev 22:9). We were all made in God’s image and Jesus exemplifies the best that we can be, but Jesus is not the Supreme Creator of the universe." -The Bible: Truth, Alterations & Discernment The Inspired Word of God Collins Hamblen "within the bounds of the canon of Scripture Jesus is confessed as Messiah, Son of God, but NOT God Himself. Allan Cronshaw Correctores Hired To Alter the Bible
"Learned men, so called Correctores were, following the church meeting at Nicea 325 AD, selected by the church authorities to scrutinize the sacred texts and rewrite them in order to correct their meaning in accordance with the views which the church had just sanctioned - (the Trinity)." -Prof. Eberhard Nestle ; Einfhrung in die Textkritik des griechischen Testaments "...they altered the words of scripture in order to make them more serviceable to the doctrine of the Trinity.." -Prof. Bart D. Ehrman; The Orthodox Corruption of Scripture "many forgeries were inserted into the scriptures by men who attempted to prove the validity of their beliefs. The problem was that many genuine passages of text were also removed because they did not conform to the beliefs of the Roman Church." -the Encyclopedia of Religion and Ethics "the (biblical) manuscripts were carefully REVISED by the correctores." -"Manuscripts" by Louis Bréhier in The Catholic Encyclopedia, Volume IX (New York: Robert Appleton Company, 1910) "after the Council of Nicea, A.D. 325, the manuscripts of the New Testament were considerably tampered with by scholars, called `correctores', who were appointed by the ecclesiastical authorities, and actually commissioned to correct the text of the Scriptures in the interest of what was considered orthodoxy." -The Trinity Archdeacon Wilberforce "What these `correctores' did was to cut out of the Gospels - with minute care, - certain teachings of our Lord - which they did not propose to follow." - "Gospel of the Holy Twelve," by Rev. G. J. Ouseley
Whenever Rome Disagreed Then They Altered the Scriptures "whatever doctrine Jesus taught which the Church of the Roman Empire did not agree with, there is overwhelming evidence that the church corrupters removed what was objectionable from their perspective. In like manner, whatever doctrines the Church regarded as being true, regardless of whether that belief was supported in the scriptures, the Church inserted this belief into the Bible in an attempt to make it authentic." -"THE KEEPER OF THE WAY" HAS THE BIBLE BEEN FAITHFULLY PRESERVED? "Therefore they have laid their hands boldly upon the Divine Scriptures, alleging that they have corrected them. For you can compare those prepared by them at an earlier date with those which they corrupted later, and you will find them widely different. Allan Cronshaw "We know today that interpolations (false insertions) were added to most of the early Christian writings in order to find support for the Trinity doctrine that had always been part of the Pagan world, but absent from Jewish and early Christian teachings. The Church of the Roman Empire then used these interpolations in an attempt to bring their favorite doctrines which were of a Pagan origin into the new synthesized religion inaugurated by the Emperor Constantine." -"THE KEEPER OF THE WAY" HAS THE BIBLE BEEN FAITHFULLY PRESERVED? Allan Cronshaw "If the Roman Church could demonstrate that Jesus was God, then the many Christian’s who held dissenting opinions could more readily be silenced. "There is nothing in the original Gospels that would affirm the opinion that Jesus had any great respect for secular authorities. Allan Cronshaw "When it is remembered that the Messianic Jewish Christians who knew Jesus personally, including those who wrote our scriptures, did NOT believe that Jesus was God, perhaps the Lord is saying to us: The time has come where we should do as the Bible says and "Prove all things" (1 Thes 5:21 KJV) before we blindly believe the doctrines of Constantine." -"THE KEEPER OF THE WAY" HAS THE BIBLE BEEN FAITHFULLY PRESERVED? Allan Cronshaw "From a doctrinal standpoint with regard to the manner we must live in order to approach the alter of the Lord, one's adherence to this doctrine of the Trinity is an obstruction that inhibits the modern church from embracing the spiritual essence of what Jesus actually taught. When one reads the scriptures through the doctrinal filter of the Trinity, the majority of the Bible is negated and rendered useless. Nowhere in the New Testament does the text even hint that Jesus is to be worshiped in any other manner than as a pattern for each of us to imitate." -"THE KEEPER OF THE WAY" HAS THE BIBLE BEEN FAITHFULLY PRESERVED? Allan Cronshaw "One of our greatest obstacles today is the fact that a very large amount of scripture alteration was performed by the Roman Church. Then we must recognize the fact that it was the most important verses of the Bible which where were edited out by the later Roman Church. Why would they remove these passages? The answer is simple - once it is realized that as the church was transitioned into a secular institution where all revelation and interpretation was made by the political hierarchy, the idea that man would be taught directly by the Word of God - was very quickly done away with. The Earliest of Christians held that Christ's Church was a spiritual, rather than a worldly institution, and that each person individually could learn directly from God. Because these Christians refused to support the later Roman Church, they were condemned as heretics and wiped out by the force of Constantine's sword." -"THE KEEPER OF THE WAY" HAS THE BIBLE BEEN FAITHFULLY PRESERVED? Allan Cronshaw Trinity Proof Texts - Forgeries
"It's interesting to see that many of the scriptural "evidences" said to be in favor of the doctrine of the Trinity, are grounded in mistranslation, errors in textual transmission, and sometimes even outright forgery. Some Tried to Protect the Bible
"In the fourth century, when the alteration of the scriptures for doctrinal purposes was at its height, and the teachings of the Roman Church were advanced with the power of the sword, the true Christians took to hiding and concealing their scriptures in the endeavor to preserve them, and halt their destruction." -"THE KEEPER OF THE WAY" HAS THE BIBLE BEEN FAITHFULLY PRESERVED? "Trinity Doctrine" Alterations Continued "the witness of biblical experts confirm that many verses of scripture were added to our Bibles in an attempt to confirm the doctrine of the Trinity. The second century Church Father Tertullian makes a brief examination of what the mindset of the Bible would be if the Trinity were in fact a valid doctrine: "I bid you also observe, that on my side I advance the passage where the Father said to the Son, 'Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten Thee.' If you want me to believe Him to be both the Father and the Son, show me some other passage where it is declared, 'The Lord said unto Himself, I am my own Son, to-day have I begotten myself;' or again, 'Before the morning did I beget myself;' and likewise, 'I the Lord possessed Myself in the beginning of my ways for my own works; before all the hills, too, did I beget myself;' and whatever other passages are to the same effect. Why, moreover, could God the Lord of all things, have hesitated to speak thus of Himself, if the fact had been so?" -2nd Century Church Father; Tertullian -"THE KEEPER OF THE WAY" HAS THE BIBLE BEEN FAITHFULLY PRESERVED? Allan Cronshaw "if Jesus was God, then he would have said to his disciples: I am God. Pray to me. Worship me." -"THE KEEPER OF THE WAY" HAS THE BIBLE BEEN FAITHFULLY PRESERVED? Allan Cronshaw
Get Rid of Constantine's Lies "Westcott, Hort, and numerous other biblical scholars have all stated that if believers are to begin to find the true meaning of the scriptures, they must rid themselves of Constantine's doctrine of the Trinity. It is a spiritual hindrance, and has NO genuine biblical foundation. This same conclusion has been recognized by the scholars who have studied the Dead Sea Scrolls." -"THE KEEPER OF THE WAY" HAS THE BIBLE BEEN FAITHFULLY PRESERVED? Allan Cronshaw "There are many people who consider themselves Christian today of whom it can be said that no amount of proof will alter the way they believe. Thus, only death will begin the process of releasing these people from the shackles of manmade doctrines that hold them bound to the thinking of this world." -"THE KEEPER OF THE WAY" HAS THE BIBLE BEEN FAITHFULLY PRESERVED? Allan Cronshaw "In view of these facts, Christians today have no other choice than to ask the question: Did God protect the scriptures from being altered and corrupted by the forces of darkness, or did God insure that sufficient evidence remained to point the truly faithful believer towards the place in spirit where the Genuine Scriptures are beyond the reach of the Prince of Darkness? In answering this crucial and all-important question, I believe the facts regarding the corruption of the scriptures are there for you to see -- and our very own Bibles have been used to demonstrate the corruption of the biblical text. Moreover, any reasonable person would immediately question the authenticity of these scriptures that were handed down to the present flock of believers by a very corrupt Pagan Roman Church. Knowing this to be a fact, only those who either want to be deceived, or are totally under the power of discarnate spirits, will continue to maintain that our Bibles today have not been somewhat corrupted." -"THE KEEPER OF THE WAY" HAS THE BIBLE BEEN FAITHFULLY PRESERVED? Allan Cronshaw "The truth is that Christians have no excuse -- the corruption of both the church and the written word has been well predicted in the Bible itself. In view of the fact that we can easily demonstrate the corruption of the written word of the biblical text, it is also simple to understand why Origen and the first Christians believed differently than we do today. When the Church of Constantine edited our scriptures, they removed those verses that contained the teachings which were most offensive to their very Pagan doctrines of belief. With these verses removed --from our Bibles, it is it little wonder that we believe differently than did the Christians who possessed a more pure copy of the scriptures." -"THE KEEPER OF THE WAY" HAS THE BIBLE BEEN FAITHFULLY PRESERVED? Allan Cronshaw "We must remember that both the Romans and Greeks were sun worshipers. All sun gods were born on the 25th of December. Why would the genuine disciples of Jesus want to defile their pure concepts of religion with such a doctrine of Pagan Origin?" -"THE KEEPER OF THE WAY" HAS THE BIBLE BEEN FAITHFULLY PRESERVED? Allan Cronshaw "Under Pagan Christianity, Mary was elevated to a goddess -- or mother of god -- when she took the place of Isis in the minds of the Gentile converts. This is documented in Everyman's Dictionary of Non-Classical Mythology, by Egerton Sykes." -"THE KEEPER OF THE WAY" HAS THE BIBLE BEEN FAITHFULLY PRESERVED? Allan Cronshaw "It is not by chance that the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered at a time in our history when these documents would not be burned and destroyed. All these facts and evidences were revealed to mankind by the Hand of God to assist us in our search for truth." -"THE KEEPER OF THE WAY" HAS THE BIBLE BEEN FAITHFULLY PRESERVED? Allan Cronshaw "The majority of Christians today ignore the fact that some of the original texts of the scriptures have been severely altered from its original form. When they are shown that the bible has been edited to reflect changes in doctrine (such as the trinity), they become hostile and condemn the experts who attempt to warn them of the corruptions. They fail to realize that God is attempting to communicate a vital message to them in order to assist them in their search for truth." -"THE KEEPER OF THE WAY" HAS THE BIBLE BEEN FAITHFULLY PRESERVED?
