Today I was around the UTSG campus with John... The temperature had risen a considerable amount from earlier in the day and the both of us were looking for some way to refresh ourselves. Just across the street, we located a Starbucks and decided to make a quick visit! Upon leaving the Starbucks, I needed to throw out some garbage and proceeded towards the garbage can near the door. At the counter where the garbage can was located, was a man and (probably) his friend. The two men were busy talking to eachother and stirring their coffee. Not wanting to disturb them, I tried to be as discrete with disposing my garbage as possible. After the quick drop, I made my way towards the door with John and it was at that moment that I heard... "Excuse me, professor?" I stopped for a brief moment and turned around. Staring at me was the man who was stirring his coffee earlier at the counter. At that moment, I wish I could have seen the expression on my face because I'm sure that my eyes were probably halfway out of my face and my jaw had already dropped down to my waist. I shot John a quick (and probably very confused and hilarious) look and returned my gaze to the man that was still standing before me. "Oh... I'm sorry, I thought you were my physics professor..." My youth slips away.....!! Someone must be stealing it... but who?! On a side note, I made a new purchase today... but I'll have to wait about 6 months (hopefully no longer) for it to arrive!
