So I got an LJ. I'm still learning how to use it. It's nowhere near as easy as Xanga. Check it out here though.

Quick rant - I *love* people helping me out on the board -- it makes my job easier. However, I like it to be done in a way where I don't feel like people are telling ME what to do. Dude, let ME do MY job. That's all I'm saying for now.

Just so you know, I don't mind at all when the people that I KNOW read this sometimes help me out. I love and appreciate it.

I was watching While You Were Out, and this guy was pissed about what the show did to his deck and house. He kept yelling, and the host kept trying to say that his wife did it for him because she loves him. He kept yelling though, and the wife started to look hurt. Now, looking at the design, I can understand why he'd be upset but DUDE, she did it for him. He was being rude.

My dad told me yesterday that while my mom and I were out, Ida's mom called, saying she had just visited Ida and she'd sent something for me. I finally called her back tonight, but she wasn't home yet. She called and talked to my mom around 10:40. Apparently Ida's parents took her on a week long vacation, and she said Ida's doing really well. Now, this makes me second-guess our suspicion about what school she's attending, which her parents are still keeping quiet about.

Anyway, so her mom said Ida picked up something for me while they were shopping, and she's going to come by at 8:00 tomorrow to drop it off. I'll expect her around 9:00.

I'm hoping that I'll be able to send her the two things I got for her in Deutschland through her mom. I doubt I'll be able to send her a card or a letter though, which I'd like to do.

Siigh. I do hope she's getting better though. I want her to come home as soon as she can -- as soon as she's doing better. I haven't talked to her or seen her since January.

I decided to go see Freaky Friday tonight. I went in there thinking the movie would be horrible, but I was surprised. I missed the first few minutes, but everything I did see was really cute. It was cheesy, but it was cheesy in this wholesome and funny way. I was actually impressed. I'm almost tempted to go see it again when it really comes out.

I also saw How to Deal. I think it's pretty bad when I like a movie about a mother and daughter switching places for a day more than HTD. The previews for HTD made the movie look really cute, but I didn't like it that much. I rolled my eyes so many times, and I wanted it to be over a couple of times. I think one of the main problems was that every possible tragic event that could've occurred to the characters happened; not all were tragic, but they were pretty negative. Another problem was that it all seemed scattered to me; the movie was just all over the place, which had to do with all of the "tragedies" that occurred. The best part of the movie was the grandmother, and she wasn't even in it that much. It was just an "eh" movie.

We went to the Cheesecake Factory afterwards and picked up a few slices. I got vanilla bean, which is really quite yummy.

I'm becoming addicted to BB4. I caught Friday's episode and wanted to watch Tuesday's. I watched it last night, and I had to watch it today. I really just don't want to miss any episodes. I never thought I'd watch it. I used to make fun of the show. I'm sure I still will, but I'll lovingly mock it.

I also really love Cupid. I'd missed last week's episode, but I saw the rerun last night. It's such a funny show. Laura and Kimberly are hilarious, especially Laura. I may have to keep watching.

Last night I saw the first two episodes of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. It was hilarious; I loved the comments the five guys make on each man and his house. Both Butch and NeededToShave had horrible houses, especially NeededToShave. The wallpaper in his kitchen was hideous! Seriously, how could he and his wife stand it for so long? And his living room? Whoa, stop letting the kids overrun it. There was almost no room to walk because there were so many toys in there. It was ridiculous. He also apparently liked to dry his hair while he was sitting on the toilet. Ew. I'm all for multi-tasking, but ew. Fab5 made both of them look much better too, especially Butch, who went from being Butch to Brian. He looked pretty good afterwards.

I still need to recap the JT concert, but I've been too lazy. I will though.

My Germany pictures were supposed to be ready Tuesday afternoon, but I still haven't gone over to pick them up. I was planning to go tonight, but Papa John's completely screwed that up. I'd get into what a mess our order was, but I'm lazy. I'm hoping to go tomorrow.
