| I really should be working on schoolwork, but today is more of a write off. Shot a documentary on Saturday. On gamers. - The Studio shots look great (so far), but the location work needs some work (too candid).
- I rigged acamera to the ceiling, but every time I set it off to fire the autofocus (necessary considering the lens), would cause the whole rig to shake, so those two films are write offs.
- Some other shots were done handheld 1/30s at f2.0, too shallow of a depth of field (I shold have used fill flash, but then it wouldn't have been candid enough).
- Some still-lives at the game have too much background information.The 4x5 tabletop shot will probaby need to be redone, but I don't know yet as I don't have the negs.
I should be contact printing today tommorow (processor busted until further notice), so hopefully I'll be able to edit it down. More shooting on Friday (all large format roomsets, and copystand work.) I had to go to Vistek today, for a filter. I hate Vistek (terrible customer service and high prices) History class is awesome, I love my instructor, I love Canadian History. (I think my love for my instructor is due to his vast knowledge on Canadian History) I have a presentation that I should be preparing for tonight. Other classes are okay, I've been working really hard on this Doc, so that is consuming. I have one class that is a lot of free-hand illustrator work, which is difficult for me. My other class involves studio work, and we haven't done anything for it yet. My last class is a class on photobooks (we get to go to the restricted section of the library). (The instructor has finally stopped reffering me by my birthname). The NDP on the other hand, need to get off their lazy ass. I changed my membership with them in January, and I still get mail in my birthname. I called them today saying they have a month to clean up their act or I will withdraw my financial support. That's about it. Tommorow 9:00 class, then libarary, then class, then contact printing then D&D. Being busy kicks ass. In other news, I'm contemplating having an orchi - any thoughts . . . . |
