Can't say much has been happening besides end of school stuff. Last week was the Engineering Project Report (61 pages) and Animal Ethics projects. Every one of those was due Thursday but it wasn't bad at all looking back now (except I did have 2 nights in a row with only 4 hours of sleep or less each). So needless to say when those were handed in I relaxed and slacked all the way through today lol. Now my 3 finals (Engineering, Physics I, Calc III) are Wednesday and Thursday. I'll start studying for those soon.

Friday I got my car and packed up like 3/4 of my dorm room and took it home. I got home and dad had me cut the lawn (only got half done in 2 hours lol). My allergies suck!!! They're worse than last near with the stuffy/runny nose. But I actually did miss doing my yardwork. Idk but there's something about being home and doing that kind of stuff I find relaxing. So when I was done with that, I drove back to Bing at 5PM. Made it back by 7:45 in rush hour traffic lol. I came to my room, crashed for an hour and half, took a shower and just spent the night in relaxing. Saturday and Sunday I slept 11 hours! I don't remember the last time I did that. Saturday Gatti's parents came and took her, me, and Jenna to Olive Garden. A bunch of us also went to Chinese Buffet today. It's so great to have a car even for just the weekend here at Bing. Idk how I survive all the rest of the time. Anyway now I have to start getting serious about finals so I can go home and be like Hey Dad look how good I did, now don't bother me about not doing well. There's no doubt in my mind I will make the Dean's List again this semester, so even if finals don't go awesomely, I can still show Dad that letter.

Grades so far look like I can pull at least an....
A in Calculus
B+ in Physics
B+ in Animal Ethics
B+ in Engineering

Anyways I think I'm off to bed now even though I wanted to stay up a little later and read over things....good night.

So nothing out of the ordinary happening over the past week.  We had a 3-day weekend so I went home again.  Proctored the Foreign Civil Service Exam on Saturday (easiest way to make 100 bucks in the world).  Sunday I traveled all across Southeast NY in search of landscape views for my Animal Ethics art project.  That involved a lot of hiking so it was more of a relaxing day for me.  Monday was just sit around and do homework and things.

Back here has been the same old thing with classes and what not.  Last night was the highlight of the week, the Green Day concert!  That thing was freakin awesome.  Beginning I was with friends in the mosh pit, but then it got really crowded and everyone really just started pushing and swaying.  So I went with it and made my way within three feet of center stage and stayed there for the entire concert   I got some awesome pics with my cell and called some people with live audio feeds.  It was freakin hot up there (I came out soaked and that was only partially from the supersoakers and water bottles).  When they started going into 2nd to last song, Blvd of Broken Dreams, I made my way back and crowd surfed all the way up.  So much fun.  Afterwards came back here where John was sitting editing video (he spends too many of his nights in this room lol).  Got to sleep around 1, but only 2 classes today and it starts at 11:40.  Life is good

Your brain: 160% interpersonal, 100% visual, 20% verbal, and 120% mathematical!
Congratulations on being 400% smart! Actually, on my test, everyone is. The above score breaks down what kind of thinking you most enjoy doing. A score above 100% means you use that kind of thinking more than average, and a score below 100% means you use it less. It says nothing about how good you are at any one, just how interested you are in each, relatively. A substantial difference in scores between two people means, conclusively, that they are different kinds of thinkers.

Matching Summary: Each of us has different tastes. Still, I offer the following advice, which I think is obvious:

  1. Don't date someone if your interpersonal percentages differ by more than 80%.
  2. Don't be friends with someone if your verbal percentages differ by more than 100%.
  3. Don't have sex with someone if their math percentage is over 200%.

My test tracked 4 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:
free online dating free online dating
You scored higher than 97% on interpersonal
free online dating free online dating
You scored higher than 82% on visual
free online dating free online dating
You scored higher than 31% on verbal
free online dating free online dating
You scored higher than 84% on mathematical

Time for a long overdue update, but it really comes down to one word: school!

In calc I'm just making sure I can do the problems and get the answers. Understanding how it works is normally a priority for me but hasn't been lately. I'm still doing good, got an A on test 2 so no complaints. Test 3 is soon and since its on a short day, my prof just said he'll make it 3 instead of 4 problems, so its a guaranteed +25.

Watson classes are getting annoying with Design Project presentation on its way Monday. Gotta put that together tomorrow during my 5-hour break. No complaints about my group, they do the work they have to, don't complain, and are fun to work with.

Physics is well physics, this is like year 3 of it for me. I go, write down the notes, and zone out for the most part since it's like second nature now.

That leaves Animal Ethics. Half of the projects are done there, but half are left. Showing of Peaceable Kingdom went off without a hitch, volunteering work and paper is done with, response papers are finished for the semester, presetnation is made but has been moved for the 3rd time!! to Tuesday. I want to present and be done with it. Meanwhile, I've still got a research paper, powerpoint for that paper, xxx number of pages to read, giving up a saturday for a trip to Farm Sanctuary (it's required), and maybe something else there lol. But don't get me wrong, I love the class and other kids in it, just one hell of a lot of work.

Can't forget that Scholars Forum. We're hosting a kids weekend this Saturday to do fun activities. It's something to look forward to.

This past weekend was spent with Patricia from animal ethics and the forum lol. Saturday was the volunteer work at a cat rescue center for most of the day. I've gotten the bus schedule memorized from Binghamton to Endicott by now lol. Then Sunday a group of 6 was supposed to meet at the bus stop in front of the University Union to get goodie bag supplies. 2 couldn't make it we knew in advance, 2 just weren't clear on the time I guess, so that left Patricia and I again lol. Went to AC Moore and charged 90 bucks for bags, color in mugs, and bubbles. So I'm pushing around a huge cart full of kids stuff, a college guy with a cart full of kids stuff in a store with only college girl employees. I didn't think much of it until I got a feeling at the checkout with the cashier and Patricia mentioned it after we left: college guy + answering what the kid stuff is for = instant girl magnet lol.

After we wheeled that cart over into the Dollar Store where I spent 133 bucks, never thought I could spend more than 100 in the Dollar Store. Got cards, bouncy balls, and other things.

So weekend was about getting things done for classes but it was also a fun welcomed break. Saturday is scholars kids thing, Monday is engineering presentation, Tuesday is animal ethics presentation. After that...research paper, presentation, tests, finals.....HOME
