Wow, I'm writing again. Hey, once a month can't be that bad. Hi, Gulkers. Got your Christmas picture and your email. Thanks for writing. Let us know if you will ever be down this way. Work has been nuts the last 3 months. But my duties just got adjusted again, so once I get caught up (maybe a month or two) I will have more time and will hopefully blog everyday. Please keep us in your prayers. We are making some life changing decisions these next couple of months. I could write more, but just don't feel like it. Sorry all. Of course I don't know if anyone other than Cindy reads this. :)

My Grandma Swanson passed away on 11/11. We are going down to Escondido this weekend to visit and attend the memorial service. So we are having Thanksgiving dinner on Wed. night. Then on Thanksgiving (& my 26th birthday) we are driving the 12 hours down. Fun huh? Well dad is bringing his laptop so we can watch movies so it will go a little faster. The service is on Sat (& my cousin's 17th birthday). Then we will come home on Monday. Mike has his licensing interview on 11/30 so pray for him. I just got back from our womens retreat. The theme was hope. It was good and I got to hang out and chat w/ a bunch of ladies from church. Stephanie from work came. She is Sharri Baker's younger sister. I am trying to keep her encouraged and get her to come back to church. Mike is in a play Becky is putting on. We're all still working with the youth. My sister, Lori, and her husband, Ronny are moving in with us 1/1/06. We'll see how it goes. I have most of my Christmas shopping done. Yeah! I miss the Gulkers. Hi, guys. Also Mike is involved in a mens group and that is so great. We are planning to join a gym and he finally bought running shoes. Even greater. Things are pretty good. :)

This one is for the Gulkers. Unfortunately I have already used up my ten minute break catching up on emails and others blogs. I am thinking about you. Hope Brayden had a great birthday. Our lives are normal-which also means boring. :)

Yesterday was Mike's birthday. We went up to Lassen and did an 8 mile hike with friends and family. We are both sore today, though I think Mike is worse. I've been running 30 minutes or 2 miles three times a week so my muscles are a little more used to movement. After the hike we all went out to Chinese.

Work is still overloaded. Tomorrow I have to be in at 5:30AM so we can drive to a seminar in Sacramento. Fun!

We checked out the new show 'Prison Break', but I've decided not to keep watching. It is a very interesting show, but there is a lot of violence. Since it is in a prison setting, it shows prison life, most of which is ugly. If we are going to be doing "Culture Shock" and learning about being discerning, I should start now. Interesting shouldn't be a good enough justification for watching something. I tried to think of redeeming qualities to the show but couldn't come up with anything solid. Besides, the show comes on right before bedtime, so those are the last images in my head each Monday. I am sure there is something better I could be doing with my time (like cleaning the bathroom). ;)

Let me know what you think.
