01/25/05 intro

well you might be wondering . . . who am I?  "I am the enchanted wizard of rhythm, and I have come here to teach you about the rhythms of the universe . . ."

Nahh, J/K I am actually here to secretly promote my band, the "D.A."  (it's a secret ya know) unless you were linked to this blog through our site, in which case you already know who we are.  Crap, Devin, you already threw our name out there though, didn't you?  Well, we may be dusty, but our skills aren't rusty.  For the record, I know nothing about   DV1-Absolute Productions, but I think it would be great to get a lot of mentioned artists to play under one roof... I'd like to work something out to host a show every 2nd or third wed. of the month at the BCH.  (whenever Nan is not hosting)  Instead of an "acoustic jam"  or  "wide open mic"  I would find about two to four acts willing to share time, and switch it up a little each time.  There would also be a cover at the door, to generate money for both the business and the artists.  Of course, this is all up in the air untill I talk to the right people.  In the meantime keep an eye on "The Inn on The Ave" Haddon Ave. Westmont, N.J. for the "D.A."  We might be making reg. appearances soon.  We plan to start recording our demo in the beginning of February, so there, ya happy?!  Ahh, slow but steady, steady but slow . . . time to get ready, time to go . . .
