WEEKEND UPDATE

-Drove two hours, by myself, to GR. Its my first road trip and everything went great except the fact that my steering wheel starts shaking when I get past 70mph.

-Had my first Arnies experience with Maren, Liz, and Ross. It was pretty amazing let me tell you.

-Maren and myself made flippin wicked sweet puff paint shirts for Liz for her volleyball tournament.

-SNOWSNOWSNOW its so beautiful out

-Oh and DONT see The New World. Its pretty with all the scenery and music but let me tell ya it was one of the slowest movies ever.

Got to love a fresh snowfall. Christmas is almost here!

Work and school are really becoming too mundane of a routine, I'm 200% ready for break and for some adventure. Hopefully by next weekend I will have gone snowboarding for the first time ever. Wish me luck

He had a hard time keeping his hand flat, so it looks like cassy is on his thumb..oh well.

Have a Holly, Jolly,

Christmas with the Kranks

So you know when you see a movie a long time ago, in theaters or whatever, and then you watch it when it comes out on video and not really remember any of it but still have a weird deja vu-ish feeling about it? Am I making any sense to anyone right now? My mom told me I couldnt make any plans today because we were having a family night and all watching "Christmas with the Kranks" (during which I had that weird feeling) but my entire family fell asleep on me and so I was left sitting there laughing at Tim Allen's corny jokes all by myself.

I took a trip to the Detroit Institute of Art today with french to see the Claudel and Rodin exhibit. It was a good alternative to sitting in class all day, and I bought a Degas print and a Dewing print to cover a little more of my ugly bare walls.

I'm about to explode. I've had a stressful couple of days and all of it is building up so that I just get more upset. My week has been go go go, and I have no time to just stop and relax. Hopefully this little slump will end soon, meanwhile I guess I'll just tough it out.

Halloween was fun.. I was a bumblebee.
Saturday was Megann's parents' carving party, and I won with my pirate pumpkin! I was pretty proud of myself, and even happier when I got a blockbuster gift card for a prize, since I spend too much of my money there on the weekends.

A few snapshots:

My family's pumpkins. They're a little soggy since it rained this year.

arrrg! His eyepatch is falling off.

Be nice to your waitress. I have a whole new respect for waitresses, its hard man, let me tell you. But I really like the people I work with, and the money is good.. and this new job is a very, very, good thing.

I loooove autumn. The colors, the crisp, gusty days.. its wonderful!
Me and my family went pumpkin picking on sunday, and then to the cidar mill on monday.. so here are a few autumn-esque pictures:
