Start giving me your PINs now!!
Update #2: Lovely (for now) Starhub has offered to waive the $100 for my early recontract, and gave me an additional $100 voucher! Unfortunately, the e-voucher is only valid for a month and will expire on the Dec 18. The guy did mention that I can call in to extend the validity if the iphone wasn't out by then. tsk. i don't want the iphone. in a separate email, starhub said the bold 9700 will tentatively be in stores late dec/early jan. shucks!
Update #1: According to some sources, Bold 9700 will be launched in Singapore at the end of December this year. sigh hopefully there will be some offers like additional $ off for bb premium plans!

BlackBerry Bold 9700 launching on domestic and European GSM carriers in November The BlackBerry Bold 9700 has finally been announced. Details have been leaking in about the “Onyx” for months and most of the seem to be true in hindsight. The BlackBerry Bold 9000 successor rocks a Tour-like keyboard but ditches the trackball in favor of a little trackpad like in the Curve 8520. The camera has been upped to 3.2MP and the screen is now a 480 x 320 display. Just like the Storm 2, the 9700 runs BlackBerry OS 5.0 and all the goodies are included like threaded messaging, updated BB Messenger, and BlackBerry Maps.Best of all RIM is launching the phone to nearly every GSM carrier in North America and Europe in November although International carrier-specific pricing is hard to come by right now. That will probably change in a day or two though.AT&T has announced that it will sell the phone for $199 after a $100 mail-in rebate, and T-Mobile is expected to follow suit although it’s press release doesn’t mention a price. What it does mention however is that the phone will be able to make unlimited calls off of WiFi for $10 per month, which is something AT&T is slowly accepting too although it seems that AT&T’s flavor will lack that ability.

| I think XKCD's an interesting site - it has daily comic feeds, and some stuff that fans upload for their favourite movies. the latest one involves some movie geeks who have actually made a movie narrative that shows character interaction in the form of a graph. check it out.

| hello favian, thanks for dropping by. | | |
| I know this is kinda old, but i still think it's a nice song. and it's perhaps one of the most budget MTVs ever. go check out the US version, it's much better. couldn't put it here cuz youtube disabled the embedding. &$(*&(! | | |
| studying and working at the same time is such a chore. fun as it is sometimes to be able to gain the knowledge of learning new things, make new friends, and to spend my nights staying up working on endless assignments (which reminds me of the good ol' school days), almost everything else has to be put on hold. dreams, goals, relationships, family.... sometimes it just consumes you. and when you think of them, it all adds up and becomes an enormous snowball of stress. so many things, so little time. get my degree, get a new job, teach music, get a license, travel, get a car, get a girlfriend, get married, get a house, ... the list just goes on.
oh well, in due time eh. the destination is the same. some just take longer to reach. | | |
