I conclude that I like stretchy clothes.

So since I'm going out after work today, I decided to dress up slightly. I knew what shoes (new pointy magenta ones) and pants (brown swishy/drapy ones) i wanted to wear, but i hadn't decided on the top until last minute this mornng. I hadn't worn the top before, and at the mirror at home, it didn't look nearly as low cut in the front. Anyways, by the time I arrived at work I went straight to the washroom to try to tighten the straps of the top. However, its not at all stretchy, and has a tight empire waist right under the boobs....so they are in the way of raising the cleavage line. I wore a cardigan, but it buttons lower than the top so i think it made it worse. Anyways, now I am sitting here wearing a woolen poncho overtop of everything. People are looking at me funny because its a hot summery day and I'm wearing yards of fuzzy white wool.

.....and i'm short of breath due to reduced lung capacity...

Also, I've been trying really hard to find a family doctor. Its ridiculous how practically no one is accepting new patients. I might as well book Irene for when she graduates. Does anyone know whether doctors at clinics will take patients as their family doctor, or is a clinic by definition only walk-in/random appointments?

I hate mosquitos. I could be the beacon of Summer. The first day Cammie gets bitten is the first official day of Summer......it is now summer. Times 4.

So once again, Blogger has ate up my post and it couldn't get published...I should just give up trying to post there....

well, to summarize, things that have been happening:

- Concerts galore! First Sarah Slean (awesome!) then Rilo Kiley. Next is Jeremy Fisher and then Jet! Rilo Kiley was fun! although i really do hate standing for so many hours....but if you gotta stand, having cool people perform for you is a decent way to pass the time. Nada Surf opened for them....and their t-shirt was cute. I almost wanted to buy one even though i don't know them. I like band t-shirts, but i feel it would be sacriligious to fans if i wear them just cause their cute.  then after the show, we were semi-stalking the hot (but only from the side) Nat Monka-esque New Zealander girl in the first opener band...get Jet tickets to see them with us! (so far, me, ramona, sonya)

- BBQ at wendy's house was filled with super yummy food! thanks for letting us mess the place up and for all the prep work and cleaning you had to do!

- i've been trying to find a pair of nice high heeled sandals that aren't insanely uncomfortable and within a happy price range

- didn't get to play golf or tennis this weekend. Next weekend is a must. I watched Wimbledon this weekend so it made me want to get good at tennis. Of course, ideally i'd pick up my racket and be a pro-star, but i'll settle for being as good as the actors in the movie........the actors..not the stunt doubles...haha

haaa.......I just walked over to the recycling bin to empty my three hole punch......half of the confetti ended up on me and the floor. there was only one witness, and she saw me standing there, slowly picking off the confetti from my shirt so as not to make more fall onto the floor. then i looked around....looked at the floor....and hesitantly walked away. she had the decency not to laugh at me. ....if i saw me in that situatioon i would've cracked up.
