Alright ryan_eat_world, you got it. well let's see what and all I have been up to as of late. i don't remember too much befoer last tuesday, so we'll start with election day...well actually from the night before...

Alright, we'll start out right after work, 8 o'clock, Monday night. I call up the grillking, and tell him to come over whenever, that i was showering and getting ready. So i go and shave, then get in the shower, HGK(hardeesgrillking), shows up while i'm squeakin', and he's around when i get out. So i scoot on up to my bedroom, get dressed in my pj's and then take like forever to get ready b/c HGK thinks i'm a girl. man, i just wanted to make the right outfit and straighten my hair dude. but anywayz, after HGK got done calling Whine-11 to call a waaahmulance we got out of there. before we could go back to HGK's house though we had to run my brother and his friend way down into raven to their house. on the way back he asked me if we shold stop and get REW (ryan_eat_world). I answered in the affirmative and in no time flat, we were there! REW was surprised as ever to see us on the horizon, and he was just hap about us coming to round him up. we played HGK's guitar for a bit, and watched some Jimmy Eat World concert clips, then REW got his shower and we were out of there man. so we went and picked up some milk and then we were back at HGK's, where we played guitar and watched Stewie's Untold Story. then we stayed up like girls for like 3 hours talking about all sorts of nonsense. we've got our only pictures from that night, HGK forgot the camera the next morning...
Election Day
Alright, so we wake up at 7 as planned, but take a big bomb anyway and get up like half an hour later. HGK calls the doctor and gets his appointment at like 9, so we were rolling out around 8! We stopped to get gas, and REW and picked up some sobelicious SOBE Powers. I rolled around with a mcChicken biscuit as well! so we're rolling on our way, HGK's worried he'll be late, so he's hauling it. They wanted me to pray that no cops would pull us over and that we wouldn't wreck, so i was giving a similar prayer, and then right in the middle of it, about a mile down from the church we get busted by the state fuzz doing 72 in a 55. That was so hardcore. The guy comes up, "liscense and registration." HGK hands it over, guy looks us up and down. REW is sitting up from strumming the acoustic, and i'm in back with mah mcChicken. he tells HGK that since he's a state trooper and since HGK's only 17, he could have him stripped of his license. HGK was like freaking out man, it was awesome! ha ha ha. The cop goes and check this registration, comes back, hands it to us and says, "fasten your seatbelt, drive slow, and get out of here." and that was the last we ever saw of him. so we got on our way and drove down the road, and got to the orthodontist, oh i'd say no more than 20 minutes late. we hung out for about half an hour or so. and HGK was done so we went and had this awesome breakfast at CRACKER BARREL. i rolled with sourdough toast and homestyle biscuits with sawmill gravy (and chocolate milk). HGK and REW had a holiday breakfast sampler, with like sausage and eggs and gritts and biscuits and gravy and cinnimon biscuits and all sorts of other stuff man. it was FLIPPING GREAT. we enjoyed it. next we sought out Tri-Counties Christian Academy, to visit HGK's good ol' buddies. there were some pretty cool people there, i didn't really get to meet any of them, but they seemed alright. (there were a few cute girls there too, ha ha) but after a while it was time to go, b/c REW had to be home at like 2. so we rolled out and picked up HGK's mom's perscription at a Bristol hospital. when we got on the interstate the car buckled a bit but we figured we just ran over a box or something, no big deal. about 10 miles down the road though, the car shifted and we thought the tire was flat, and we were begging God to get us down to the next gas station, which he did. when we got there however, we saw that the tire rod was broken, a defect that could have even cost us our lives. that was weird man. so HGK calls his dad, who comes and tells us the problem (tire rod), and then goes to buy a new rod and some other things we needed. we played guitar and football for about 2 hours waiting on his dad and waiting for him to fix it. And THREE people offered to help us! it was sweet man, they were nice. and then there was this one dude who worked for Lance foods, who gave us FREE CHIPS, man I LOVE NICE PEOPLE, they rock so hard. we had an awesome time though, it wasn't like it sucked really bad or anything. so then we finally make it home and we take ol' REW home, then HGK and i stopped at burger king and got us some eats and went down to williams's field and hung out in the parking lot, listening to music and sitting on the hood of his blazer eating, and then playing some football. he finally had to go home, and i did too. later that night i ended up going out with the missionaries and that was a blast too. i don't remember much from then till now except working, working working working. i worked yesterday, and then i got to talk to jenica for about 20 minutes, that was awesome, i love talking to that girl, she just make me so happy! and then i slept and woke up, and here i am this morning. i have to work this evening and i need to find something to do till 3. oh well, i'd better sceedaddle. all yous guys take it easy now, and we'll try to update this thing more regularly! see ya!

Dream Big

Why hello! Today was interesting, let's see if i can recap well. Alright, I spent a lot of vanity time this morning, shaving and showering and putting on a suit for decade day. I had the fattest, ugliest tie ever on, and I was mobster all the way.  Ryan came over and picked up a blazer of mine that he preceded to wear to school today. Then we traveled on over to school, and then after a couple of periods of just hanging out, Hap and I headed on over to his house for a bit. I wanted to drop my coat off at my car, so he stopped and I found that my car was dead, the battery died (which makes three times in 1 and a half months! ) but I was fine. Then we directly headed over to Food Lion where we got 6 bucks worth of chicken tenders, we got 3 and a half each, and they were HUGE. I also got a FastBreak, rock on Reesee's, rock on. So Hap and I eat and watch Shark Tales, (which is a funny movie, which i highly reccomend) and then we came back. Took an AP Lit quiz 5th period, and then took a test in Government, which I owned. After that I had matt counts try to jump my car. After SEVERAL unsucessful attempts we gave up and went to my house where I got dressed for work and then he dropped me off.

Start the craziness. Alright, so i get there and a my fellow co-worker/buddy, Cookie has already got all the prep done except for the School Lunches and Hot-N-Ready's. So we start counting large hand-tossed lids, and we're about 50 short.  So we turn to the attic. We pull down the attic stairs and start getting them out and finally get all of them done. No fuss, no problem. So we think we're gonna be 3 lids short, and Cookie finds three other lids and we're cool. We do the layout and get all 150 of the large hand-tossed school lunches EXCEPT for 20. We were 20 pans short. So cookie goes to get pans. We start getting pans, and I take them to be washed and then cookie starts down and, no offense to my friend, but cookie is a rather large fellow, about 250 - 280 lbs, and about 6'3 tall. Part of the attic stairs (which are pull-down style) breaks, but only one side, it's fine, but it won't shut. I recommend we don't worry about it and finish our layout, but he's deadset on fixing it. So he startes the Odessy and spends about 45 minutes trying to force this little screw into a hole that it fell out of. I got bored and went to finish the 20 we left out. Cookie comes in after the 45 minutes of fiddling, and sprays food release (cooking spray) on the screw, and guess what, it pops right in, no trouble at all.  So we pop that part into the beam, and it still won't close. Why, you ask? Well the action spring wasn't connected. So we spend 20 minutes on that before we decided that someone was going up the ladder. I could barely fit through there, but I did and there was NO space to sit, it was completely packed, so i have to put my foot on either side of the door in the floor, while cookie closes the door. I find out that I've just not got it in me to pull that spring closed. So then cookie gives it a try. Poor guy was not smaller than me so it wasn't any easier. So after several comical minutes of him fitting himself into the attic, we get the door closed, and after 10 minutes of antics get the spring on, BUT i left the string in the door and it won't open! So finally he pushed the door open, and i start to pull it down and guess what? The whole thing breaks all over again bringing us back to square one. I laughed so hard, i laughed so hard. Cookied gets so mad, that he nails the thing shut to keep it up. So we start on our medium hand tossed hot-n-ready's, and finally aget all 173 of them done. We mix sauces and clean up, and then my mom calls and says that my dad will be waiting at the school to boost my car. So cookie and I finish up and he drops me off at the school.

Guess who's there? The missionaries! It's about 8, and the volleyball game has like just started! My dad comes and we get be car boosted, and then i go home and get dressed and come back. So we start watching the game, and richlands plays bad, but it's alright, there were some good plays, some good serves, and saves, and sets. After the game the Elders and I hung out with some of the players we knew, and one of them takes off his name tag and pretends to be a scouter and talks to the other team's coaches and players! ha ha ha ha! E-Mack and I just hung out with this cute girl on the team, named Haley. She's fun, tonight she was way hyper though, it was awesome. LoL. So we walk around and talk for a bit, then everybody parts their ways, I walked Haley to her car b/c it's just common sense to do that! I think guys should be more polite with girls, no matter who they are! I ended up going to walmart after the game, and they couldn't cash my check, so I get in my car and run into Froggy on my way out. I stopped and talked with him for a bit, and his sister (another good buddy of mine) had left her car there to go eat at Waffle & Egg with a buddy. I left her a dumb note on her car, ha ha! SO then I finally make it home to relax and write this, even though I found out that my homework can't be done, b/c i left my questions at school, but i'm alright. Nothing sleep can't cure! Everyone have a good night, and hopefully I'll have an email in my SVETN mailbox in the morning (you know who you are). Later padres!

Hey everyone! How are we doing? Well, I'm doing just fine, thank you. Today was a fun experience. I got up early for once, running in around 6:14, but I couldn't muster the energy to do anything but put my pants on. Ryan and I tossed around the idea of buying  a SOBE, but we were all out of available vendors (a mistake we would soon regret). I made it to school, around 10 till 8, so I stopped and read Mosiah 2. After that, I went in and hung out with Ryan Street and Matt Counts. We had first period, which was really just all of us screwing around talking about floats and junk. Second period, was just messing around, watching the news, discussing the news and whatnot. Then came college release, and as you know we don't really have classes on Thursdays. Enter, bliss. We picked up brandon's paycheck, and then rolled by my house where my wonderful grandmother, provided us with what I would dub "the greatest biscuits-and-gravy ever had or will be had by man upon the face of this mortal earth." So I just had a HUGE helping of that right there, (along with three other biscuits i just sopped with), a bowl of peaches, and a couple of slices of apple jelly toast. It was EXCELLENT. Muahahaha. We then watched Crossroads and burned the Hapmeal two CDs. Neither worked, and he tossed one out the car window b/c the only song that worked on it was the Pink Elephants on Parade cover by Lee Presson and the Nails. We got gas which made us about a minute late, but no big deal. SPECIFICALLY, b/c i found out that the Shell mart across the street from the school was STOCKED with nothing but that absolutely delicious, 20oz of freedom, that we call SOBE POWER, so I was sure to not be #11, and picked up two of these badboys. So we screwed around talking about snakes all of 5th period, and paid some attention to the review on the Beowulf test tomorrow. Sixth period was nothing at all really, just work, work, work, work, work, work. It's alright though, I'll get some relaxation going snipe hunting this weekend . Well, right now I'm watching Star Trek and eating a little bit, just waiting for work. Bah, work. Get to go on up to the Hut. Oh, well. Free cheesesticks and a drink man, can't argue with that. Yeah, I get to miss that volleyball game against Carol County tonight, which sucks. I really wanted to go and be really obnoxious, but eh. So, ya'll take it easy 'till works over, or later, whichever I decide needs to be my next post!

ATTENTION! The Lyrics to my "Official" Anthem!

The Best Two Years

Momma makes the best fried chicken,
Wrangler maket the best blue jeans,
Everybody knows that the STEELERS,
make the very best football team.
I beleive that the Mormons, make the best pioneers.
So i'm going to the land of the tulips, where i'm gonna make the best two years.

The best two years, the best two years.
Yes, I'll be testifying in my very best suit from Sears,
The best two years, the best two years.
Going to the land of the tulips, where i'm gonna make the best two years.

First I'm going to warn the little dutch boy,
stuck his finger in the middle of the dike.
That a flood of love is coming,
and it's riding on a ten-speed bike.
Wheels spin faster than a windmill,
Cuz' i'm always in the highest gears.
All among the land of the tulips, I'll be turning out my best two years.

The best two years, the best two years.
Yes, I'll be testifying in my very best suit from Sears,
The best two years, the best two years.
Going to the land of the tulips, where i'm gonna make the best two years.

May not be a looker,
and i may not know that much,
but i will have a book or two,
of Mormons wrote in dust.
And i may not be kissing the one,
Who's gonna be my wife.
But my two lips will thank the Lord,
For the best two years, of my whole life.

Ringing lots of doorbells, i'll be talking in the street,
I'll be preaching with the spirit, to every single person that i meet,
Sometimes i get frightened,
but that feeling disappears.
Here in the land of the tulips, i'll be knocking out my best two years...
Knocking out my best two years,
Knocking out my best two years.

The best two years, the best two years.
Yes, I'll be testifying in my very best suit from Sears,
The best two years, the best two years.
Going to the land of the tulips, where i'm gonna make the best two years.
Turning out my best two years,
Knocking out my best two years!

One year, 3 months, 1 day.

Just call me, Future Elder Shelton (F.E.S)
