Night Safari. Night Safary.

Ok. i still prefer da latter. is it just me or is night safari meant to be spelled such? anyway, i kinda figure i was wrong abt it. it's night safari. with an "i" at da end instead.

anyway, it was much doses of fun earlier on. yatz has been very dutifully brighten up da occassion. we had to wear white coz we wanted to scare da nocturnal animals. but i guess we were more nervous than da animals.

i kinda appreciate for da whole experience. really laps it with all da shows tat i watch on Animal Planet. in fact, i knew wat to expect and look out for. thou, i can never be da next Jeff Corwin. but heck, i sure can appreciate it beta still. thanks Jeff!!

surprisingly, i got home today w/o taking da cab despite leaving da place rather late. i know for sure. me and yatz are lucky ppl today. she get to catch da train and i get to catch a bus from AMK Station. as for da rest, they were still waiting for cabs when we took da bus to AMK. now, tat's something i proud of.

and speaking of 26. it's becomin a rather significant number. i turn 26 already. gosh...!!! and today is 26 january. and by da stroke of midnite, i've made maself into something else. dun worry. i didn't turn into a walking 'mandarin oranges'. i know. CNY festivals and such. one of those periods when ma Vitamin C intake increases unexpectedly from consuming mandarin oranges.

well. it came. it happened. best of all. it's 10hrs flight hours away. and i'm not der to see it thru. tsk-tsk.

kick off to a new start i would say. despite da constant flow of  multiple sms-es, i actually found maself sleepin quite peacefully. well, had to rush thru da mornin to prepare family's agenda for a short family vacation minus yours truly..!

i must add tat i had a pleasant surprise from crappy appy. who would have thought tat he would be around da same area as me durin ma errand running! so much for a 'personalize birthday greetings' from him aye.

well. imma end it quick here for now. still errand running!!

i'm such a booger...!!

i just got home from work. i was hopin work would continue till sunrise which equals to overtime for me. but alas. it didn't turn out such. SO go home as per normal lah.

on ma way home, random thots hit upon me.

where was i 1 year ago on dis day? i was mournin for late grandma.

where was i 10 years ago on dis day? i was still da cheeky one in skol. wit O Levels in mind still ok.

where was i 20 years ago on dis day? errr. prolly on ma first few days at Heng A Khe Bong School. yesh. i went to a chinese skol durin ma primary skol education.

so where am i now? on bed. just got home from work. and abt time to sleep it off.

still dun get it.

ok. how abt dis.

i remember when i was in Sec 1, i wanna have a gathering wit ma fellow classmates. had everything prepared out. food. drinks. etx. funny thing is. i didn't turn up. yes. i organised it. and i didn't turn up. naturally, everyone was asking where am i? so Mrs Krishna called me up and i had tears swellin in ma eyes while i told her dis few lines.

"i'm sorry ma'am. i'm on two weeks mc. i got chicken pox."

yes. how aptly. easily said, it's one of da most memorable things i have of Thomson Sec life. plus a whole load of others. makes me break a smile and shake ma head in disbelief. a good belief. i hope.

ahh. such wonders. i shall look forward.

i shall forget abt all da dislikes i have of life. focus on hopes and dreams i have of da future. put on a smile and be confident abt where to head to. even if not confident, just fake it till i do!!

2009 - Fuel For Life

yes! it has certainly come to dis point whereby we all get over da hang-over(s) and hit back to reality after much pomp and celebrations all due after 2009 kicks in abt 21hrs ago. hey. i'm not tat late either. i'm suppose to sleep in the whole day instead.

anyway, tat aside. 2008 has been a rather unpredicatble yet enriching experience all together. it has been mostly memorable. no doubt. oh crap. just leave 2008 as it is.

firstly, 2009 is here to stay. i'm gonna enjoy it while i still can. despite da economy gloom and all. have faith. we'll tide dis over. shout-out to yatie for bein such an adorable person in ma life. if ya still dun know whom i'm talkin abt, ya missin out on somethin here. thou she in a very awesome and steady relation wit ma third cuzz thingy. indeed, she's a very special person in ma life still. i'm very much glad i knew her all dis while. and she literally blow ma mind. oh wait. she blasted in ma mind. and to top it off, she got me a kick-arse new year gift. every year. year in year out. and dis time, it's a 'diesel - fuel for life' parfume. and last year only, she got me a huge bottle of davidoff parfume. hey. wait a sec. both parfume starts wit "D". D for Diesel. D for Davidoff. hmmm. i think i shld get her a D-cup size bra instead. teehee. sorry yatz. cheeky me had to do it.

anyway, as always. i spent 2008 wit yatz and a whole lot of taka gangsta. oh wait. make it taka ppl instead. its all good. funny thing is, i dun get it why almost everybody says i look and sound just like Russell Dominique Peters. yup. it's Russell Peters all ritey. i just dun get da similiarity. tsk. looks like i just need to bask in dis new found 'fame'. it ain't funny thou.

oh yeah. not to forget, countdown wit ma brotha AhJak was great. turns out he's a childhood friend. oh. i knew tat when we got to know each other 2yrs back. "siapa tak kenal budak toa payoh kan." isha's black pepper marinated chickenn was spicy and good. not to mention 200 pieces of hot-dogs. i went doggy crazy at da bbq last nite. party poppers. blast! such random acts. and i dig da dice game. feels good to be banker at 6am!! 

oh well. imma see if anyone has put up pixs of last nite/dis morning. other than tat, it's dinner time for ma fish tank occupants. 

oh yeah. just a quick shout-out to Alfie. Happy Birthday Alfie. it's ya birthday tml. how could i forget. i've never missed it ever-since i knew ya since we were 6. so fast forward 20 yrs, damm! ya have grown crappy old appy. still. i've always loved ya. ya know i've always meant good. towards ya. other than tat, i wish ya best of everything ya heart desires. ma love and prayers are wit ya. always.
