Ok, I lied.  But I like taking quizzes.

You scored as Satanism. Your beliefs most closely resemble those of Satanism! Before you scream, do a bit of research on it. To be a Satanist, you don't actually have to believe in Satan. Satanism generally focuses upon the spiritual advancement of the self, rather than upon submission to a deity or a set of moral codes. Do some research if you immediately think of the satanic cult stereotype. Your beliefs may also resemble those of earth-based religions such as paganism.

You scored as Postmodernist. Postmodernism is the belief in complete open interpretation. You see the universe as a collection of information with varying ways of putting it together. There is no absolute truth for you; even the most hardened facts are open to interpretation. Meaning relies on context and even the language you use to describe things should be subject to analysis.

sigh sigh sigh

Long time, Xanga.  I shan't be returning.

Tomorrow I get my new road bike shoes.  Early next week my new phone should arrive.  And I got straight A's again.

Otherwise, life sucks.  It'd be funny if it wasn't so serious.  Laugh...ha.

I can't wait till next week.  I want to see how low I can go.

A blue funk.

Some absolutely fascinating posts and news articles:

Rove's Reading: Not So Liberal as Leery
    -  Karl Rove said:  "The work journalists do at this time is paradoxically more important than ever, so the need to get it right far more often than they get it wrong is absolutely critical to the function of a free society."  Karl Rove said this.  I know.  Good article either way.

Economic Worries Aren't Resonating on Hill

Funniest Post Ever

My internet is so fucked right now.

So.

First off, Comcast is sucking dogballs.  Yeah, who knew an internet service provider could suck a canine's testicles?  It's a complicated and messy process.  Don't worry 'bout it.

I have so many things I could bitch about that I won't.  That's my vow for now.  'Cause I'm in the mood to go off.  A good mood, but one of brutally violent honesty.  That's when I'm most dangerous and tend to get in trouble.  It's probably exactly why I should write, but I rarely do what I should.  HA!  I spit at thee.

Looking over the Broncos draft, I'm actually pretty pleased.  Three corners?  I'm still not so sure.  But we did need massive special teams help.  Williams and Foxworth will be good.  The draft experts say Williams would have been a first round choice if he was three inches taller.  So we picked up some talent.  I have no idea about Paymah.  Confunderfoozled.  Clarett I'm pleased with.  He could be boom or bust; put up or shut up.  He only played one year in college.  He's the type to fit into our scheme.  Hopefully Shanahan will knock some sense into him.  I'm liking the guard and kicker picked up on the second day.  They both sound good.  Really though, who knows?

So for next year, what do we have?  Plummer at QB.  Hrm.  One of the best offensive lines in football.  Incredible depth at RB.  Putzier and Co. at TE, where I'm eerie.  Our wide receivers need to step it up, big time, along with Plummer.  If Smith goes down, what do we have?  Lelie, Watts, and a few kids who haven't got a whole lotta snaps.  Lelie, this better be your year.  Watts too, though you're still only second year.  On a whole, our offense was rated fifth last year (I think.)  We just couldn't score.  We'll see.  Pound and grind.  That's what we're good at.  Defense wise, I'm excited.  I think our linebacking core is one of the best in the league.  Our D-Line will need to show themselves.  We have a bunch of pathetic fools from Cleveland.  Hopefully it was the system, not the players.  Our secondary is stacked, or at least that's what I hope.  Champ, Walls, Lynch, LeSeur, draft picks, etc.  We were rated fourth last year (I think.)  We should be better this upcoming season.  We still have Elam and the just drafted kicker supposedly has a leg on him.  His nickname is 'Boomer.'  We still don't have a quality punter, unless Boomer takes that up too.

I really shouldn't talk about football.  One, I have no idea what I'm talking about.  Two, it burns me out and I no longer want to type.

I think I'm bipolar, rapid style.  New low for the day.  Just like that.  Literally.  You think I jest.  No idea why.
It's been a bloody stupid day.
My baby called me up to say
don't call me love don't call me it's not all she said
I truly love her but I know
I'm bad for her I'm bad and so
At least she may forgive me for my honesty
I want to smile and mean it.  I want to give a genuine hug.  I want to die.  Because I like easy exits.
I've heard about a place, where they enlarge yer space
They take pity on the small ones...
Don't cost ya very much, they seem to know their stuff,
They take pity on the small ones...

So I wanna go to Brainville. Let's get in
And overcome my inexperience
I wanna go to Brainville. Let's get in
And be the first one on the block that does.
Sigh.  I want to turn an orbit around.
Don't cry
You can rely on me honey
You can come by any time you want

I'll be around
You were right about the stars
Each one is a setting sun
I feel like I should cry but I don't have a reason.  And that'd be too easy of an exit.  And I haven't cried in... fuck if I know.  That probably means I should.  Pansy.

Boy, this post took a turn for the worst.  Heh.  Oops.

It'll pass.
If I could do just one near perfect thing I’d be happy
They’d write it on my grave, or when they scattered my ashes
On second thoughts I’d rather hang about and be there with my best friend
If she wants me

Well.

This may be the oddest draft day ever.  I say oddest only because I don't feel qualified to say anything else.

Three cornerbacks.  One infamous running back.

Totally not what was expected.  Totally not where our most glaring weaknesses are.  Odd indeed.

Round Two:

Darrent Williams, CB - Oklahoma State
    - He'll probably be used mainly for special teams, or at least that's what he was drafted for.  Might be a good nickel back but is too small to cover the premier receivers in our division.

Round Three:

Karl Paymah, CB - Washington State

    - Doesn't really have the speed to be a corner, so I predict he'll be moved to slot/safety.  Interesting pick, in that he had a sixth round grading.  Hmm.  (Strike: Did some rereading, and this guy is fucking fast.  I don't know where I got the notion in my head that he couldn't run.  Still, I for some reason - I'm high now, don't know, great night - think he will be a safety.  I should stop now for now.

Domonique Foxworth, CB - Maryland
    - The corner drafted to play corner.  He's a good player.

Maurice Clarett, RB - Ohio State

    - Hahaha, the joke of the draft.  I have no comments.  Shanahan certainly has the ability to surprise.

All in all, a very confusing draft.  I don't know how to grade it yet.  I think we went more for enigmatic reaches than we did for quality steals.  Shanahan may go for some trades tomorrow and then fill our holes.  That's my best guess.  Strange.

Oh, and congratulations to Vincent Jackson.  He went in the second round to the San Diego Chargers.  Best of luck.
