Hello Everybody. I havent wrote in my xanga for...well a really long time. School is going good. Great actually. My media production teacher has been publicly stating to just about anyone that I am one of the best directors in the program right now. Which is a major high. I have also been doing credit hours for Daktronics and learning how to make all the lovely programs that are run on the brand new scoreboards at the SDSU Football and Basketball Stadiums. Its allot of fun but sometimes a hectic couple of hours. Right now I mostly put up ads, and crowd prompts. You know those lovely animations that say "REV IT UP," "Great Hit," etc. For those of you that go to SDSU, I have pushed the button that makes the Cowbell Skit run. Im so awesome. To bad I have someone telling me what to put in when. That would be way more fun if I just did it randomly. Also related to school and my major I am secretary of the film society. We are going to be getting a few newly released films from the independent world. They are going to cost us about 700-800 dollars to show for one night, so if you go to SDSU, or anywhere withing driving distance you really should come. They will be good ones. No dates yet, we are just trying to get some money from the school because they lost our budget request last year so we have to go through some horrible emergency funding request. Hopefully we get the money!
Hobo Days is next weekend. Holly and I will both be driving brand new cars in the parade for the UPC. We will be driving dignitaries. Fun Fun Fun. We have to be at the union at 6:15am that morning. What did we get ourselves into.
I still work at walmart. I recently applied to move into photolab, which would pay more money, and I would be done at 9pm instead of 11pm. Right now im only working three hours a week so I usually have plenty of free time. I have recently been working Saturday, Sunday and a weekday. I hate working Saturday and Sunday...but hey its better then Friday, Saturday, Sunday...which they have raped me into working about 100 times lately.
I just bought a digital video camera, I havent been able to make anything yet, unfortunately. I have no life. I dont know if someone would want to watch me sleep on a film...but it might be cool. Hmm. I also just bought a PS2. For those of you that have one. I have one game to recommend. Well not even a recommendation...YOU HAVE TO GET IT. Its called "We Love Katamari" or some K word at the end. Its amazing. I could play it all day. And today I probably will. I dont work until 4.
Holly and I dyed our hair last night. Hers is brownish red, mine...is well...ugly...its like not the color on the box at all...it was suppossed to be really dark brown, but it is like a shitty black with brown at the top. I dont think Holly did it bad because we looked at it and its all the same color. It just...the way the light hits it, it looks weird. So I dont know. I hope it washes out a little and fades so it looks ok. Otherwise im wearing a ponytail messy bun for the next 10 years.
