So, incredible game tonight. The suns were triumphant in an absolute nail biter. Biggest news of the century... my dad told me I get to go to game 7. Tonight was just too exciting.

I'm in Phoenix!!!!!

Tuesday, April 25, 2006

I'm currently sitting in my dorm room for the last night ever. Everything's in boxes and my computer is just in a temporary setup. Everything is so empty and Sooooo much cleaner than it usually is. I just said goodbye to my last real friend to say goodbye to and I'm pretty conflicted about going home. It basically comes down to the fact that moving back home means that I'm moving one step foreward in my quickly changing life so I'm pretty excited about it. Tomorrow should be a good day of driving and reuniting with the family. I better do a good job keeping myself busy and entertained during the next two months or I'll be mad at myself for a long time.

Two cool things happened today and one not cool thing.

The Cool things were 1. Shooting and blowing stuff up (including like 20 moltovs and an assault rifle) and 2. I spilled a shake all over this kids shorts and on his leg at a restraunt today and he didn't notice at all. We stood in line behind him for like the next ten minutes and he never figured out that he was covered in shake.

The not cool thing was that I ate way too much pizza after todays expedition and I came home and slept for four hours and felt absolutely horrible afterward. It was like the pizza fermented in my stomach as I slept instead of digesting; totally crappy.

I seriously have one day of classes left.

This morning I woke up to a call at 6:30 in the morning from my group for a presentation that we had to do today. They were supposedly all on campus working on the presentation and they forgot to tell me that they were meeting. The insane thing is that we don't have class until 11 and all we had to have was a 12 minute slide show of pictures of the project that we already designed. I spent the next hour getting ready and going to breakfast and I eventually showed up at 8. They were just dragging their feet and messing around on the computer for hours so there was pretty much nothing done by the time I got there. We then put the slide show together in about a half hour and I went to my first class of the day. I'm going to be so glad when this thing is finished tomorrow. I'm tired of dealing with other people.

Also, on wednesday I'm planning on going shooting for a few hours with chris and our family friend Adam and my friend from the dorms and then we're going to head down to this mine shaft that goes straight into the ground and is pretty much a bottomless pit. My friend and I made a bunch of balls and a flower and just random objects out of massive ammounts of paper towels that we stole from the bathroom and we're going to soak them in gasoline and hang them down the hole and burn them. I also bought 700 yards of fishing line and some flares and we're going to lower them down and see if we can hit the bottom. I think we'll use the sniper scope to try and see it down there. Anyway, guns and gasoline will undoubtedly make for the best reading day ever. It's obviously going to be very study oriented.
