| Hello hello hello. did you give up on me? Surprise, surprise, here is a new blog....
Scottie has been out of town since early saturday morning, and Lucy and I have been doing okay. Until last night.
Last night I put Lucy to bed, and about 11pm I went to bed myself. I woke up about 3:30 in the morning. I was sure I heard the back door. Some movement downstairs. I felt my adrenaline rush. Someone was in my house. My ears were pricked, and ready to pick up any noises. Sure enough I heard the sound of footsteps on my stairs. SOMEONE WAS COMING UPSTAIRS!!! My adrenaline was telling me to grab something for a weapon, anything... the pitter patter...pitter patter. Do I call the police now? do I remain quiet so they wont come in and stab me now? I prayed with all my might that God would save Lucy, and give me a comfortable death......
slowly my door starts to open. I dont see anyone. I'm sure they are on the floor now crawling towards my bed. I want to vomit I'm so scared....... a few seconds go by......
and a cat jumps on my bed!!!!!!!!
PHEW!!!! what a relief. I could have kissed that cat. I have a cat door in my back door, and the neighbors dog had been jumping up on it, and opened the latch. So a curious cat came to see me. It still took me a couple hours to go back to sleep I was so shaken.
This morning I checked the back door, and sure enought the kitty door latch was open so I locked that right back up.
other than that we are fine. Lucy is gettting her teeth in. Dont stick your finger in her mouth, it hurts!! And she is rolling over (usually on accident), and she can sit on her own if I prop her up. She can hold it for a few seconds, and then she starts to teeter. But give it another couple weeks.....
Scottie come home!!!!

| So last Saturday Elizabeth and I went down to London on the train. and had so much fun. (Good thing we got there after lunchtime, Elizabeth!)
So we mainly hung out on Oxford Street (the shopping district!!!!! woo-hoo!!). Basically, we had a great day, I got pickpocketed (yikes!! They took my rail pass so I had to buy another one!!!! 20 pounds!!!), and we laughed so hard my tummy still hurts.
here are the highlights....
the train ride in... I'm Harry Potter!! After reading all 6 books like a crazy fiend before Lucy ws born, I was so excited to find Platform 9 3/4 actually exists at the London Kings Cross Rail station.
Hyde Park (okay. so not as great as Central Park) Are we excited to be here or what?!1?!?
 Yes we are!!!
elizabeth got these shoes at Urban Outfitters, and every 5 minutes for the rest of the day she kept taking them out of the bag, and talked about them! ("But Jessss, they only cost me 5 pounds!!! I loooove them!!")
London is even prettier at night!! Trafalgar Square Yes, we know you love you new clothes (and tell me about your shoes again!!!!) hehehe... As for the glove she was wearing. I think she was trying to be Sarah from CSI. Sarah is her favorite! she loves her mushroom hair too.
I bought this adorable shirt for Lucy, and I just loved it...so here I am loving on it.
And that is how we conquered part of the shopping district in one day.
oh, and here is Lucy in her adorable shirt from London.
  she likes it. | | |
