Woo Hoo.

Yay to whoever dropped that class I wanted to take. I'm officially a (temporary) Husky now, I have the ID card and everything!  It was nice to see those of you I saw last week on campus, I'll probably be seeing a lot more of you now that I'm going to be in class 8:30-11:50am five days a week... Though, come to think of it, are any of you awake then? Just kidding, I think. Anyways, I'm pretty excited. I miss school, is that sad? I get fidgety when I'm not using my brain. Now if someone could just hook me up with a job (or those places could call me back)...

Urbana?

Hey, anyone else want to spend a week in St. Louis at the end of December going to Urbana06? It runs December 27 to 31, and it's somewhat like a very very large missions conference. You know you want to be with 25,000 other people hearing what God is doing around the world and figuring out their own place in that.

Please, talk to me. Soon. Or comment, or shoot me off an e-mail. It's ~$300, but there's support that can be raised for that... in years past the church has helped support it... don't let that be your reason not to go. Early bird ends June 15th.

Mmm..... rain.

Ok, so when I left Minnesota yesterday afternoon/evening it was about 80 degrees out. Don't get me wrong, it's nice to be at home; I did miss the rain. Yay, everything is green here! So I flew in last night and got to see my parents and Aleeza was there picking up her parents, so it was fun all around...

I miss school already, is that sad? Well, I miss my friends at least, school... I could use a break from. I'm excited to see you all though, Christmas was a long time ago!

Next Year

You know what is a little bit crazy? Ok, so I'm sitting next to my roommate right now, who is filling out an application for a Chinese visa. She's going on Term in Asia, which goes to China, Japan, Thailand and Vietnam. She's going first semester. I have a couple other friends who are going on Global Semester, which is Switzerland, Egypt, India, Nepal, Hong Kong, China and South Korea. Also first semester is Term in the Middle East, which goes to Turkey, Morocco, Egypt and Greece. Friends are going to be in Chile, India, and Costa Rica. I'm going to Guatemala, El Salvador, and Nicaragua second semester, my other roommate is going to be in Bangladesh, a good friend is going to be in Senegal... Someone you know might be going to Florence... Wow. Can you believe that? It's going to be so different with so many people gone. I'm excited to go and excited for my friends too, but it's going to be an interesting year next year.
