| Ahhhh - December. Love it or hate it, I am happy to see another year to celebrate Jesus.
That's my plan - and I'm sticking to it. :)
Thanksgiving, with the long drive, and the misearble cold that went with me everywhere, was still mostly good. Pennsylvania was beautiful, loved seeing people and enjoying familiar places. Missed a few people, but I'll be O.K. The incredibly long drive and dreary weather couldn't rain on my parade! :) It was very nice, though, to have a sunny, pretty week-end.
Still on the job hunt . . . and on we go.

Makes one consider what we do with what we have.
| Really bummed because sometimes I break things - like today. And what I must do bears little or no resemblance to what I would like to be doing. Meanwhile, here's an old picture of Mr. Fleabag himself. What a life.

| There's nothing like a computer to totally waste time. Should've been studying - or doing lots of other things that would actually be productive. Instead, I've been reading aimlessly, and now am wondering - "if I use that quote I heard was part of the movie "Talledega Nights" - if you've seen it you may recognize it - "I'll be on you lilke a spider monkey" - will I be embarrassed, or would it be useful - as in "you'd just better go ahead and do what I said to do?"
Enough. It's late. I entered stuff in the county fair - hers, hers, and mine. The fair starts tomorrow.
| What to say, what to say - many changes, some surprises. (I know, talk about understatements!)
I have been reading poetry lately and once again have been impressed with the gift some people have with words. At times my own inarticulate stumblings only skirt the issues.
Today's newspaper had an interesting article about one person's appreciation of and brief encounter with Aaron Copeland. I enjoyed reading about the credit given to his music and the way it influenced this person's writing.
So I spent some time with this piano music tonight (as in "currently reading" - no option for "currently playing."
Is anyone else going to be bugged by the typo in the book title? The word is ARRANGEMENTS - how hard is that?
