Breathe. Breathe. I Breathe.

Wait on the Lord from day to day
Strength He provides in His own way;
There's no need for worry, no need to fear,
He is our God who is always near. -Fortna

Aloha peeps! Good to be back from neRd zone!! Wheee....I finally got back my life. Actually, wow...I don't believe it, I'm living a life without Biology! Wahaha, I walked out of the examination hall yesterday feeling pretty ok about it. Nothing to be negative about or even to doubt God's mighty hand! I did my part you know, I didn't have a life for about a month? But I did let myself go to Meanie and Isaac's party which was awesome as! Felt good that day, just relaxing, and breathing (Sorry I had to leave early Meanie!). LoL.

Fourteen. 14. Fourteen. That's the total amount of past year papers I've done for Year 12 Biology. I'm breathing this week then I'll dive back down into my endless pile of books to study for my Year 11 exams (I don't wanna know what it's gonna be like next year when all of my subjects are Year 12s); gotta take a deep breath! Although, ironically when I can virtually breathe, in reality I can't. How amazing? My relaxing few days, and I have to rest in bed! =( =( My nose is killing me, and giving me a very bad headache that I had to come home early today and sleep! But at least God preserved my health pretty ok until yesterday, I was sick on Saturday and Sunday, but wasn't as bad as this.

One big, massive appreciation this year to God is for giving me Mr. Moffat as my Biology teacher. LoL. at least he was patient enough to spend extra time teaching me stuff I didn't understand until I got it. I was literally stalking him on Friday, because it was my last 'asking-questions' day, gotta make full use of it ya know? I was kinda guilty and he was kinda happy to see me leave his classroom one last time on last period Friday. LoL, must've been so sick of me. But I really thank God for Mr. Moffat, he's the best biology teacher at my school so it's cool.

oooOOOooo...Testimony time!! Before the exam, we're given 15 minutes of reading time, and while looking through the paper, I was actually falling a sleep or maybe just feeling freaking dizzy! LoL, cos I took a cold tablet just before I left the house yesterday morning. So I prayed and asked God to help keep me awake. =P He DID! And then, while going through the paper and answering the subjective part, I realized I was running out of lead on my pencil!! I searched through my pencil case to find, NO lead box! Aha, then I started to panic. Then I prayed again and asked God to help me through, with or without lead in my pencil. I could've used a pen, but I felt more confident with pencil anyway. So yeah, my lead was shortening, and I was pushing the the metal case at the tip of my pencil back so my lead won't look so short. And I finished my paper!! With just about 2-3mm of lead left at the tip of my pencil. Zippedidodah!! Plus, I had about 10 minutes of extra time? So I looked through my answers once more and then shaded in my answers for the objective part and left the rest to God. Through His awesome power, I did it!!

Anyway, more updates include Year 11's English excursion to the cinema to watch the very modern version of Macbeth, adapted from Shakespeare's play. So a whole big bunch of us caught the tram down to the cinema on Wednesday and it was really fun, watching with everyone from school and stuff. We're doing an analysis task on Macbeth for our end of year exams, and the teachers think it's a good idea to watch the movie. It was really fun though, almost 100 students and teachers occupying a whole cinema, and there were funny and weird comments from students throughout the show. The show wasn't too bad, pretty violent, hot HOT cars, Macbeth(the actor) was pretty hot too, Lady Macbeth (err) not pretty. LOL. The actors spoke in Shakespeare language, but after learning the play it wasn't that hard to figure out what Shakespeare (or the actors) was trying to say. I've done two of Shakespeare's plays this year, and though they are anything but easy, I enjoyed them pretty thoroughly. =P I mean, the guy's a legend! He writes stories with amazing plots, and no one else ever writes like him; how unique can a guy get man?

And most of you might know, today's Halloween day! I don't celebrate it, and I almost forgot about it until I switched on the tv before dinner. Then when we finished saying Grace, a bunch of little kiddies rang our doorbell and shouted "TRICK OR TREAT?" which, my whole family reckon is so cute! But we didn't prepare any sweets for them so they went away. LoL. Funny! They actually went from house-to-house! And I thought you only get that on Tv...LoL.

Ok, ok...that should be about it. Won't hold you up any longer, just wanna thank God once more for all the great things that he has done for me! Till next time, take care and God bless, I love you!

Love,
Aud-Rey.

Pictures!!

True greatness does not come to those
Who strive for worldy fame,
It lies instead with those who choose
To serve in Jesus' name. - D. De Haan.

Ahh...These few weeks have been hectic as! And still gonna be for the next few weeks...-_-.

Anyways, as promised I have pictures!! Sorry it's kinda late. But they're not very clear, SORRY! And once again, I REALLY really really wanna thank all of you who have in one way or another, wished me 'happy birthday' and for those who have given me gifts or cards, I really appreciate them. Thank You!

Meanie has been sweet...hehe, I'll copy and paste her very sweet birthday note for me. Hmm...I think I need to write one for her too, her birthday's this coming Wednesday. Still contemplating whether should I abandon my revisions and go to Meanie and her twin's birthday party? I so want to...LoL. But my exam is like one week away from her party!! Gahh!!!

Ok, anyway here's the birthday note:

Here's a short belated bday message to Shortie:

When I first saw you, I thought to myself, 'OH NO, not another Sonja.' Before you came, Sonja told me that I would get along really well with you. I guess, she's kinda right.. hahaha. Altho you hate me sometimes.. we're still good friends! Haha.. Sorry for confusing you about Hungry Jacks and Burger King and sorry for playing DOTA. (I really wanted serene to play soccer with me Xp) All in all, I'm really grateful to God for giving me an angry, snazzy, crazy, confused, special and true friend like you. Happy Belated Birthday! Love ya shortie!

Ps. Don't feel bad about me calling you shortie, you really aren't short.. hahaha. I'm just too tall :) Btw, I'm not mean Xp

So there you go...Thanks Meanie!

Ok well, enjoy the pictures and Take care, God bless! I love You!

This is the haircut I gave Yen Nie. Before this, she didn't have fringe, her hair wasn't layerd at all and it was about 1-2 inches longer than pressent. =P She likes it, she's just not used to the short-ness. LoL...she's so NICE! She let me cut her hair first of all, then when I cut it too short, she just said, "That's ok, it'll grow out." the only time she'll say "You la, cut my hair so short!" is when she's teasing me..=P Thank God for a friend like Yen Nie, cos I really REALLY didn't intend for it to be this short!!

16, kinda scared, kinda awesome.

Memorable or what?[beware, this blog is really long]

Whee....this year's birthday has been awesome as!! Wooo...long story to tell! Can I be long-winded and go into detail? It's been great, with Fei Poh Cherly giving me my first birthday wish through SMS, followed by Fei Poh Mien's wish before she went to school. I was kinda scared at the thought of turning 16, besides the fact that everyone says it's extra sweet, and the fact that I can start learning to drive, I was more worried about making the wrong decisions, and letting more people down with whatever decision I may or may not make. But my day turned out great.

Last Thursday, I had a biology lecture to attend in the city at Melbourne University. Woke up at 6.45am to catch the 7.00am bus. In the midst of my rush, I didn't realise I put my new ticket in the same place as my old ticket, so when the bus came, I took out my old ticket and the driver told me to get a new ticket. When I realized I gave him my old ticket, I suddenly panicked thinking I didn't take the new ticket from home at all. And it's not a habit for me to bring money out, my thinking is: no money, can't spend. So, I usually get money off Sonja or Nicole. But this morning, I left the house without getting extra money besides the new ticket.

So, I got really upset, because the bus driver was pretty grumpy and scary. So I quickly called Nicole and asked her to bring me the new ticket and some money later. She comforted me saying the bus driver will let me have a free ride, just once; because that's what most drivers would do. But I whispered over the phone: "I don't think he's very nice." I dunno if he heard me, but before I got off the bus, he told me: "Don't get so upset, its ok. Just remember to get a new ticket next time, because inspectors will check. But today, you'll get a free ride." PHEW!

Ok, so now I was supposed to meet my friends at 7.40am before taking the train into the city, but I was 20 minutes early. 10  minutes later, Nicole called and asked me to go outside to wait for her. I waited for about 10 minutes before she came and said that there was no new ticket at home, so this time I checked my bag again and realized, I did have the new ticket with me!! Gahhh...!!! But Nicole gave me some money anyway. Ok, so run right in and hopped onto the express train with my friends to get to our lecture that was due at 9am.

Anyway, the lecture went for 3 hours. A fun 3 hours! Every 5-10 minutes, my phone was beeping. Whee...birthday wishes kept coming in...even one from my cousin whom I'm actually not too close with. One friend called me 3 times and I kept rejecting her calls without having the credit to sms her to tell her I was in a lecture! LoL...One of Vernis' friend sent me a birthday wish too! Muahaha...even though the lecture was boring, I couldn't fall asleep with all these messages!

After the lecture, met up with Sonja and Josh and went for lunch. Yen Nie joined us as well, but Ruth went right home. We went to this really good Japanese restaurant to have lunch before going down to Melbourne Central to eat chocolate! Whee...Awesome...I so love Max Brenner! He's awesome cos he made an awesome chocolate restaurant! I ate until I was stuffed! A little while later, Vernis and 3 friends joined us, it was quite embarassing yet funny. Andy, Anita, Joanne and Vernis were wearing party hats, and they had whistles in their mouth. They sneaked up to me and started blowing their whistle. 0.0!  So embarassing! They even made me wear one party hat, and they distributed one each to Sonja, Josh and Yen Nie. They got me prezzies too! How sweet of them! I barely know them still! They got me some REALLY cute and awesome stationery and a Kinder Bueno egg choc with a toy inside. Amongst the cute stationery, there was this cool, triangular metal ruler. I've been wanting a good ruler!! LoL...Thanks guys! I really appreciate it, not to mention that looong and flexible pencil.

(whoa...LONG blog! And my day was just half gone!)

Ok, let's continue...(I feel long-winded today). After being stuffed with chocolate, Sonja dropped Yen Nie at the train station then rushed me and Josh to Tim's birthday party. His party was awesome! Tim, who turned 15 on Saturday, organized this really cool scavenger hunt that gave us a lot of exercising time and helped us mix with his friends from school. So, it was cool! Tim was so sweet, he made his mum get me a birthday cake too! So, everyone sang the birthday song for me and Tim. It was cool, we had pizza for dinner. And I kinda got punished? LoL...I was teasing Shaunee with Gracie baby, and Shaun suddenly, planted himself on top of me! Omgoodness...he is bony as! His bony butt poked my thighs! Gahh..then Nicky Darling ganged up with him, and held my hands and started poking their elbows into my thighs! Whoa... I was bullied on my birthday...haha.

Besides that, everyone else were throwing stuff at me! LoL...you know the popping things? The ones that when you tug at the string hard enough, confetti come out of its plastic casing and goes *pop*, yeah...everyone started throwing the plastic casings at me! It was war!! LoL..everyone except Nicky Darling of course, but still, he did throw some at me too, and helped me hit the rest too! Whee...After Tim's party, Pete rushed us to church for our monthly Teacher's meeting. I was supposed to songlead this month, but because we were so late, Keean songled. Haha, we had a quick meeting with Chris telling us about next year's plan.

Right after teacher's meeting, Sonja brought in my birthday cake! Everyone started singing for me, at first I was kinda blur because Chris was talking about something else to distract me then suddenly Sonja came in and I was like: "oh...ooOOohhhhh..." LoL...(yes Meanie, I was suprised.) Despite the fact that Meanie, Nick, Isaac and everyone else who were trying to do something for my birthday couldn't whisper, I was surprised. Soon after, Meanie, Isaac and Pete came to church after Tim's party and they presented me with my presents! Whee...the presents are so cool!! I really love the journal guys! Thanks! I'll take a picture of all the presents and I'll post it up here next week. (So now it's a words galore blog, next week or something, it'll be a pics galore blog. Hehe.)

After teacher's meeting, Pete drove me, Nick, Shaun, Meanie, Isaac, and Josh to McDonald's. Later, Sonja and Franny joined us after sending Sarah and Jasmine home. It was nice, something less rowdy, something less crowded to end a super fun day. We sat there and talked abit, ate sundaes then headed home. Once I got home, Mummy and Daddy called. Whee... and I received more presents from Nicole and Vernis! Whee...my day just gets better. Party all day, even the 3 hours lecture was fun and I actually got home around 11+pm!

Ooo, one thing I forgot to mention, out of all the pretty things I got...the present that actually beat everything else was knowing that FGAM's missions committee has granted me permission to go to India for their mission trip in January! At first, they were like 'no', cos I notified them a tad bit too late. But during teacher's meeting, Uncle Min Leong, one of the missions' committee told me I can go to India...I was smiling from ear to ear!!! I couldn't believe it! At first I really thought, I couldn't go anymore...Whee....it was great!

But well, that present was kinda short lived because Daddy's really worried about me so he's not allowing me to go to India...(sigh)

Oh well, I had a great day on Thursday although it felt like I was celebrating my birthday for a whole week: hanging with my peeps and watching soccer on Monday; going out for dinner with my family then watching a movie with Nicole paying for all expenses on Tuesday; Yen Nie came over and her hairdo was a success on Wednesday!(pictures next week) On Friday, I was supposed to go out with a couple of friends for another movie but in the end, I went to Meanie and Isaac's house and I had loads more fun! Me and Meanie worked on a song for the upcoming Fungus album, with Meanie strumming the guitar and me figuring out the tune, my best work yet but Stanley wants me to change the melody so it's a faster song. I don't mind. On Saturday, spent most of my day at church, first time back-up singing at Saturday service, still a treat for turning 16? On Sunday, went for Angie's birthday party= more fun!

Ok well...hope I've bore you guys all to death Till next time, take care and God bless!

P/S: thanks again to ALL and ALL, near or far that have in one way or another wished me a happy happy birthday!

Love,
Audrey.

Each of you has been blessed with one of God's many wonderful gifts to be used in the service of others. So use your gift well.- 1 Peter 4:10

Wheee...

O, Happy DAY!!! Haha...Holiday started, Friday! Came home from school and started watching 'It Started With A Kiss'...and then Nicole and Vernis watched with me too, finished thee whole series by yesterday night. Awesome series, funny as and sometimes illogical, but helps me unwind first for the holidays and from all the work this term =p. And yeah, I'm just gonna enjoy my holiday until today(Monday)...I'll start my intensive studying tomorrow, exams are in a month, REALLY gotta study...oh no...I gotta find a way to get rid of this pre-exams nervousness because I don't wanna study hard then stuff up in the examinations, plus this is the biggest exam I've sat for yet. And most important one too, toughest too. Aiyah.....not good la.....

Ok, whatever. This week, has been...quite stressful, but I had a good week. At Quentin Loke's house now, using his wireless connection. =D with about 10 other guys? We're watching Chelsea vs. Liverpool now. lol..well, I'm watching while chatiing on msn anyway. Stanley Ong's here too! Haha...Chelsea scored one. Hmm, quite unexpected..I thought Liverpool was the better team? But for the next match, Man U is so gonna win. LoL...

Anyway, to all my Anti-Dota Clan members, I have banned Meanie form our clan from now on! She's a hypocrite...even for the sake of soccer, she played one game of Dota on Saturday night...I'm never talkign to her ever again. Oh, by the way...I songled at fungus today! With Gracie by my side, and Vernis and Alvin as my back-up singers. First time songleading at a fungus service...

NEWS FLASH! Chelsea won!!!! Omgoodness......as if?? The world...is coming to an end...LoL. Anyway, another news flash? One month after my  mum's gone back to Malayisa, I've officially become sick. After being constantly surrounded by sick people, I have finally become sick.. not good. I'm starting to really hate my nose now.

Ok, well...that should be about it for now. Can't wait for Wednesday, YenNie is surrendering her whole head of hair ro me now, she 100% agreed to me cutting her hair now. Yay! I can't wait. Ok, I'll leave you guys to carry on with whatever you guys were doing, thanks for reading! Take care, God bless. I love you!

Love,
Audrey.
