| This year has really been a year of transition and change for me...some
that have been awesome, and some that have taken some time to get used
to. I graduated from college and have spent way more time that I want
to looking for the right job, a job that will most likely relocate us.
A task which I am frustratingly still working on. I had quite the
dramatic crash on my pony and had to go to the hospital, the first time
for anything like that for me. I've left two places that have been a
home to me for over half of my life, Refuge and South Farm. Both of
which have been extremely difficult for me to adjust too since I have
poured so much of my heart, soul, sweat, and tears into both. It's
almost like leaving a safe haven and and stepping out to the big scary
world. One of my great passions, praise and worship, has been put to a
stand-still, another frustrating and painful change. Fortunately, I
know in my heart it was time for the transitions.
While we
are still looking for clear direction for some things, I feel so
blessed and fortunate to have the security that God has a plan for our
lives. Through this change I have become part a family and aquired some
dear friends that mean more to me than they will ever know. Being at
Blue Ridge has been such an amazing experience for me, I love all my
girls there. I have had the opportunity to spend more time with my
amazing trainer (who I think the world of) than I would have ever
thought possible, and in that time I have learned things that I know
will stay with me for the rest of my life. I am not only a better
rider, but a better person because of it. And Catana and Halle, you
guys have been so awesome, I can't even tell you how much fun I have
had with you and how much I love you both, and I love that I can be my
crazy self around you and talk to you about...he he he...everything. In
an insane time in my life, Blue Ridge has been a bit of an anchor for
me, pretty much keeping me from going crazy. All in all, it has been an
insane year, but you know what? I am only 23. 23 years old, that is so
young in the great scheme of things. I feel like I am at a stand-still,
holding my breath and waiting for the gate to my future to open. So, on
that note, 2007, here I come, go easy on me. :o)
| Ok...so here we go....on Christmas eve 2006, I received the best
Christmas gift EVER from my mother-in-law!!! I unwrapped a large
package filled with pure hottness...Orlando Bloom!!! Well, it was a
cardboard cut-out of Orlando anyway...but it is like 6' tall....and I
can drool over it whenever I want....and because I love her...I will
share it with my wonderful friend, Catana Deskins. But only Catana, and
only because we share the passion that is Orlando.
I won't go
into the crazy discussions that followed the opening of Orlando, most
of which were prompted by interrogation questions from Solomon's 80
year old grandmother...you can imagine..."why do you want that?" "what
are you going to do with that thing?" "Do you really think THAT guy is
better looking than MY grandson?" LOL....needless to say, it was an
eventful holiday!
ok...here are some pics...he he he :o)

Me, and my girls,
Halle, and Catana. I am so glad to have them in my life....I am truely
blessed to have such beautiful, loving, fun friends that share one of
my greatest passions. This has really been a year of change and
transitions for me on more levels than anyone can know, and it is great
to have people in your life that love you for who you are and support
you through craziness. I am excited for the direction that things are
going and look forward to possibility.

| fun weekend :o)
I had
such a fun weekend at a surprize 50th birthday clam bake for my trainer
at Clifton Beach in Lakewood. It started out a bit windy and a little
chilly, but as the night went on the wind died and it was gorgeous out!
Lake Erie was beautiful and the beach was lit up under the full moon,
The girls and I had such a fun time being silly and taking fun pictures
:o).......not to mention the fact that I am a seriou s clam freak! I
love those slimey little things! It is so great to have a chance to
hang out with good friends over good food. I love my girls!
