Home Sweet Home

Finally i returned home after a 13months stint in Canada. Left with a tinge of sadness but i am overwhelmed with joy due to the fact that i am backed!

I was hosted warmly by our neighbours before we left as we decided to have an exchange of culture. Our friendly Austrians who was with their wifes decided to whip up some homecooked Austrian foodfare for us.

Happy Austrains with Singaporeans! Cute kids. How i wish i have one of those. Haha

How can we have dinner without some booze?

Its deep fried pork with mesh potatoes, cherry jam and fragant rice. I loved it and had like 2servings of it.

Ending the dinner with homemade Austrain Snapes. Its a flavoured shot with either strawberry or lime taste.

ON our graduation day, we decided to take some photos!

Dear Canadian friends. If you think i am tall enough already, look at them! They are even taller than me!

Dear coursemate Troger (Hungarian). Loves his havoc in the mess as well as the care that he have given us over here.

Not forgetting Troger's lovely gf, Nicole, who whips up all the delicious Hungarian food for us! =) We will miss both Troger, nicole and the dog Maki! haha

Cant wait for it to end.

Omg! I am left with 3 more sorties!

3 more to Singapore wings. OMG. Its such a long and hard journey to wings. THREE long years.

I believe my emotions will overcome me when the time comes.

Even winning all the awards will not beat getting the singapore wings. =)

Graduation!

Finally, I have finished phase 4 officially and now embarking on another 6 more sorties to my Singapore wings.

The jet that i am the most comfortable with!

Throughout my Phase 4, there are 2 memorable flights which are AST 8 (my favourite solo flight ever) and AST 10(solo check flight). AST 8 being that one that i was suppose to be a wingman but my lead (Furby) handed me over the tact lead and therefore i led the formation all the way with changing situation which i dealt with successfully. I was proud of that moment!

6 long months in Cold Lake is pretty much coming to an end. No other courses stayed in Cold Lake for so damn long as they should have finished in about 3 to 4 months rather than what we did. Nevertheless, I know i did myself justice in phase 4 by finishing it with flying colours!

My accolades in Phase 4:
1. Best Air to Air student
2. Best Air to Ground student
3. Overall Best Student (inclusive of flying and ground school)
4. Student Go to War award (Award where the instructors will choose you to go to war with!)

One of my many certificates! hahahahaha!

DSC00260
I am proud of this. =)

Kinda sad to leave Moose Jaw with nothing in the bag except canadian wings BUT i did it in Phase 4! Was pretty satisfied that i can do Singaporean flag and my instructors proud!

To all my instructors out there! You are not forgotten! You have been of great help to me throughout my time here! Without your guidance and instructions, I would not have made it! Endless thanks =)

Embarking on another 6 sorties to singapore wings! Behold! =)
